        외래어 표기의 실제와 그 대안에 대하여 - 고교생 설문 조사를 참고하여

        The practical forms, problems and alternatives on our borrowed word-spelling are examined in this paper. 207 students are asked for recognition-degree and use-actual conditions of borrowed word-spelling by using questionnaire. Referred to the results, the state of people who use the same language is observed As a result, problems of our borrowed word-spelling include that only 24 consonants and vowels are used from the keynotes, that the term 'in principle' is used, and that the fortis is likely to be avoided. Moreover, it is vague that respects of common use are written. To solve these problems, the keynotes are corrected and new spelling principles are presented. And also British English spelling system should be added to the specific principles of borrowed word-spelling. 본고는 우리의 외래어 표기법에 대한 실제적 모습과 그를 통해 문제점 그리고 대안까지 생각해 본 것이다. 이를 위해 고교생 207명에게 외래어 표기법에 대한 인식 정도와 사용 실태를 설문 조사하였고, 그 결과를 참조하여 언중들의 상황을 살펴보았다.연구 결과, 외래어 표기법의 문제점으로 기본 원칙 중에 24자모만 적는다는 내용, ‘원칙적’이라는 용어 사용, 된소리 회피의 내용 등이 문제가 되었고, 관용 존중의 불명확성도 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 고려하여 기본 원칙을 수정하고 새 원칙을 제시하였으며, 표기 세칙에 영국식 영어 위주의 표기도 넣어야 함을 덧붙였다.

        열변색성 염료를 이용한 도심 공기 유동 시각화에 관한 연구

        최근 도시 지역의 고밀도화 및 고층화에 의한 환경 문제로 인해 도심 지역의 공기 유동에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 이에 따라 건축물의 적절한 형상 및 배치 설계가 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 온도에 따른 색 변화 특성을 갖는 열변색성 염료를 이용하여 건물 주위의 공기 유동 경향을 관찰할 수 있는 실험 방법을 제안하 고자 한다. 열변색성 염료는 특정 온도에 대해서만 색이 변하는 특성 때문에 온도 변화를 정밀하게 관찰하기에는 한계가 있지만 실험 모델 및 장비 구성이 용이하고 실험에 소요되는 시간이 짧다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 단순 형상 모델에 대한 CFD 해석을 통하여 건물 주위의 바람에 의한 공기 유동 경향을 분석한 후 열변색 실험 결과와 비교함으로써 제안된 실험 방법의 유용성을 검토하였다. 이러한 실험의 결과로서 열변색성 염료의 특성을 이용하여 도심 건물에 의해 발생되는 박리풍과 와류의 형성 영역을 관찰할 수 있었으며 제안된 방법이 건축물 설계 및 도시 계획에 유용하게 활용될 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. Recently, due to environmental problems caused by densification and high rise of urban areas, interests in air flow is increasing and appropriate shape and layout design of buildings is required. Therefore, in this study, we intend to propose an experimental method that can observe the air flow around a building using thermochromic pigment. Thermochromic pigments have limitations in observing precise temperature changes due to the characteristic that the color changes only with respect to a specific temperature, but they have the advantages of easy configuration of experimental equipment and short time required for experiments. In this study, the air flow tendencies around a building was examined by performing CFD analysis for a simple model and then compared with the thermochromic experiment results in order to review the usefulness of the proposed experimental method. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to observe the formation of separated flow and vortex region generated by buildings using the charateristics of thermochromic pigment and it was confirmed that the proposed method can be useful for buildings design and urban city planning.

        Vitamin D Deficiency and Sarcopenia in Hip Fracture Patients

        Background: Vitamin D plays a critical role in the proliferation and differentiation of skeletal muscle and bone metabolism. We compared the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in elderly patients undergoing hip fracture surgery (HFS) with those undergoing elective primary total hip arthroplasty (THA). We also evaluated the association between vitamin D deficiency and sarcopenia. Methods: This prospective study included 70 patients in the HFS group, and 100 patients in the elective THA group. The HFS group included 42 women, while the elective THA group included 74 women. The mean age in the HFS and elective THA groups was 79.8 and 75.4 years, respectively, and the mean preoperative Koval score was 2.1 and 2.3, respectively. Serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels were measured by I125 radioimmunoassay. Bone mineral density and appendicular skeletal muscle mass (ASM) were measured using dual X-ray absorptiometry. Sarcopenia index was calculated by dividing ASM (kg) by the body mass index (kg/m2 ). Sarcopenia was diagnosed when the sarcopenia index was <0.789 in men and <0.512 in women. Results: Serum vitamin D levels were lower, and the percentages of patients with vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency were higher in the HFS group than in the elective THA group. In the HFS group, the prevalence of sarcopenia was higher in men (57%, 16/28) than in women (29%, 12/42; P=0.025). Conclusions: Vitamin D deficiency was more prevalent in patients undergoing HFS than in patients undergoing elective THA. Among patients undergoing HFS, vitamin D deficiency was more prevalent in sarcopenic than in nonsarcopenic patients.

        The Characteristics of Durability with Biodiesel Fuel(5%) in a CRDI Diesel Engine

        Our environment is faced with serious problems related to the air pollution from automobiles in these days. In particular, the exhaust emissions of diesel engines are recognized as main causes of the air pollution. CRDI (common rail direct injection) diesel engine is widely used for the sake of minimization on exhaust emission. Because biodiesel fuel is a renewable and alternative fuel for diesel engine, its usability is expanded. An commercial CRDI diesel engine used to commercial vehicle was fueled with diesel fuel and 5% biodieselblended fuel (BDF 5%) with city mode in excess of 300 hours. The engine performance and exhaust emissions were sampled at 1 hour interval for analysis. To check the engine parts (valve, injector), the engine was inspected after test. It was concluded that there was no unusual deterioration of the engine, or any unusual changes in engine power and exhaust emissions in spite of operation of 300 hours with BDF 5%.

        The purpose of this study was to clarify the importance and purpose of exterior renovation of commercial buildings in the central area of a city and to analyze finding data which classified according to type. So It will be of some help about study of exterior renovation which is still insufficiency. The result of this study were as follows; It was used various renovation method for expression of commerce in facade. Among these method it was the most marked appearance that expansion of opening in order to display articles of commerce and expose indoor action. There were many cases that partial renovation mar linkage of buildings themselves or context of streetscape.

        The Korean traditional ideas, as a view of living the thinking function of all the Korean nation has developed, have displayed the national intelligence in order go lead the history of the Korean nation and also is the whole product of national intelligence. Also the Tangun ideas is intrinsic within Taekwondo as a natinal-protecting character, which considers nature and human-being as one and proves that the truth of Taekwondo is not separated from human-being but is within human-being. Confucianism has given a help in the establishment of the sprits of Taekwondo by maintaining the peculiarity of the Korean society and bringing the maintainance of the relationship between superiors and inferiors nad the respect for the elders through the observation of the proprieties. In seeing the Donghak ideas and the spirits of Taekwondo, the religion of Chondokyo that is the religion to have the Donghak ideas may be said to be the religion native to Korea occurred in our land and Taekwondo, as our traditional martial arts also occurred in our land, may be said to include the meaning of cosmos and have the mind to sympathize with the emotions of our nation. Therefore, in order for the philosophical thesis of the spirits of Taekwondo, we should generalize all these ideas to establish proper for the emotions of our nation, and in addition, should do both comprehensive and microscopic study for the theory and mental philosophy for Taekwondo systematically and continually.
