The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of day care environmental variables on young child psychological well-being. The subjects of this study were 63 teachers and 949 young children in 26 day care center, Cronbach's α, Frequency, Correlation, Multiple Regression for statistical analysis were conducted for data analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows: (1) The significant variables which had positive correlation of young child psychological well-being were air conditioning, frequency of safety accident, institution safety, education schedule, satisfaction of program, preparation of playing, health, nutrition and teacher experience. The significant variables which had negative correlation of young child psychological well-being were dare care time per one day of young child, young child's experience of day care center moving, young child's frequency of dare care center moving, the ratio of a teacher : young child and teacher's duty time. (2) The significant variables which had effects of young child psychological well-being were frequency of safety accident, education schedule, preparation of playing, nutrition, young child's frequency of day care center moving, teacher experience and teacher's duty time.

고삼 메탄올 추출물로부터 분리한 flavonoids를 IR, NMR등의 분광학적인 방법으로 Leachianone A(LA)과 Sophoraflavanone G(SFG)로 동정하였고, 카드뮴의 세포독성효과를 고삼 및 고삼추출물이 방어할 수 있는 지를 검색하기 위하여 NIG 3T3 세포에 고삼 및 LA와 SFG, LA+SFG를 처리하고 MTT assay 및 광학현미경으로 세포의 생존률을 검색하여 다음과 같은 결론은 얻었다. MIT의 흡광도는 카드뮴의 농도에 의존하여 감소하였으며, IC_50인 MTT50은 12.5??이었으며 카드뮴을 IC_50농도로 처리하고 고삼 및 LA, SFG, LA+SFG를 각 화합물의 자체 세포독성을 갖지 않는 농도로 처리한 후 MTT assay로 세포 생존율을 측정한 결과 LA, SFG, LA+SFG 처리군들은 카드뮴 처리군(MTT_50)에 비해 세포생존률이 증가되었으며 이들은 고삼 및 고삼추출물의 농도에 의존적으로 증가되었고 각각의 단일 화합물보다 두 화합물 LA+SFG 병용처리군에서 수복 효과가 더 좋은 것으로 나타났으며 광학현미경적 소견에서도 세포재생이 뚜렷하게 보였다. 이상과 같이 고삼에서 분리한 flavonoids가 카드뮴 독성에 의하여 손상된 NIH 3T3 섬유아세포의 재생효과에 영향이 있는 것으로 판단된다. The aim of this study was to assess the antitoxic compounds, flavanones (Leachinanone A=LA and Sophora flavanone G=SFG), from Sophora flavescents (S. Flavescens). We investigated the possibility of antitoxicity of LA and SFG against NIH 3T3 fibroblasts cell lines using colorimetric MTT[3-(4-5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2-5diphenyl-2H-tetra-azolium bromide] assay. The results were as follows : After cadmium was treated against NIH 3T3 cell lines, we determined IC_50. Accordingly we have examined the detoxification effects of S. flavescens, LA and SFG under cadmium IC_50=12.5?? and was carried out to observe morphological changes by the light microscopic study. In NIH 3T3 cells, Sophora flavescens, LA, SFG and LA+ SFG showed inhibitory effects on the cytotoxicity of cadmium and these detoxication effects increased in proportion to the concentration of these drugs. These results suggest that LA and SFG from S. flavescens retain a potential antitoxic activity.

Aim(s): The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between the burden of care, depression, and quality of life in the family of stroke patients admitted to the nursing care integrated service ward of a rehabilitation hospital and the family of stroke patients admitted to the general ward. Method(s): The data collection period was from December 2019 to March 2021. The subjects were 142 people who understood the purpose of this study and voluntarily agreed to participate among the families of stroke patients hospitalized at D and W Rehabilitation Hospital in D city. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 statistical program with t-test, and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. Result(s): As a result of this study, on a scale of 5 points, the care burden was an average of 3.60±0.34 for the families of stroke patients in the integrated nursing care service ward and 3.77±0.48 for the families of stroke patients in the general ward, and there was a significant difference in the burden of care between the two groups (t=-2.32, p=.022). Depression was scored out of 3, with an average of 0.39±0.28 for the families of stroke patients in the integrated nursing care service ward and 0.47±0.35 for the families of stroke patients in the general ward, and there was no significant difference between the two groups. The quality of life was 2.77±0.42 for the families of stroke patients in the integrated nursing care service ward out of a scale of 5, and 2.63±0.41 for the families of stroke patients in the general ward, indicating a significant difference between the two groups (t=2.06, p=.041). There was a significant correlation between the quality of life and depression in the families of stroke patients in the integrated nursing care service ward (r=-.362, p=.002). Among the families of stroke patients in the general ward, quality of life had significant correlations with burden of care (r=-.310, p=.011) and depression (r=-.599, p<.001). Conclusion(s): In both types of wards in the rehabilitation hospital, it was found that there was a correlation between the quality of life of the stroke patient's families and depression. In particular, in the families of stroke patients in the general ward, the burden of care was correlated with the quality of life. Therefore, when providing nursing care, it is necessary to provide nursing intervention for families that includes the burden of care and depression.
Biodegradation of Aliphatic and Aromatic Hydrocarbons by Nocardia sp. H17-1

<P> We investigated the biodegradation of hydrocarbon components by Nocardia sp. H17-1 and the catabolic genes involved in the degradation pathways of both aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. After 6 days of incubation, the aliphatic and aromatic fractions separated from Arabian light oil were degraded 99.0 ± 0.1% and 23.8 ± 0.8%, respectively. Detection of the catabolic genes involved in the hydrocarbon degradation indicated that H17-1 possessed the alkB genes for n-alkane biodegradation and catA gene for catechol 1,2-dioxygenase. However, H17-1 had neither the C23O gene for the degradation of aromatic hydrocarbons nor the catechol 2,3-dioxygenase activity. The investigation of the genes involved in the biodegradation of hydrocarbons supported the low degradation activity of H17-1 on the aromatic fractions.</P>
