<P>To determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD), recommended dose (RD), and activity of combined oxaliplatin, irinotecan, and S-1 chemotherapy for metastatic or recurrent gastrointestinal (GI) cancer. Oxaliplatin and irinotecan were administered intravenously on day 1, and S-1 was administered orally on days 1-7, every 2 weeks. This phase I study used the following dose levels for oxaliplatin/irinotecan/S-1: level 1, 85/120/60 mg/m(2); level 2, 85/120/80 mg/m(2); level 3, 85/120/100 mg/m(2); level 4, 85/150/100 mg/m(2); and level 5, 85/180/100 mg/m(2). Treatment was repeated for a maximum of 12 cycles, until disease progression, or until unacceptable toxicity. Twenty-four patients were enrolled between October 2012 and February 2014 (median age 59 years). During the first cycle, one of the six patients in levels 1, 3, and 4 developed a dose-limiting toxicity (grade 3 febrile neutropenia), and none of the three patients in level 5 developed a dose-limiting toxicity. As the planned maximum dose did not reach the MTD, the level 5 dose was defined as the RD. Twenty-one patients were evaluated for response, which included 2 cases of complete response and 8 cases of partial response, with an overall response rate of 47.6 %. The combination of oxaliplatin, irinotecan, and S-1 provided an acceptable toxicity profile and modest clinical benefits in patients with advanced GI cancer. The RD was 85 mg/m(2) of oxaliplatin, 180 mg/m(2) of irinotecan, and 100 mg/m(2) of S-1 every 2 weeks.</P>

The die casting process was used to manufacture a alternator housing for automobile. Specially automobile parts were required light and high strength. Therefore simulations have been caned out die casting process of the alternator housing. In this paper, we investigated about characteristics of the die casted alternator housing with HPDC(High Pressure Die Casting) process. Also we designed the die casting die with the simulation results of the alternator housing. The MAGMAsoft and Auto-CAD was used as computer simulation and design code and used material was ADC12(Aluminum Die Casting Alloy). We present the results of filling behavior and design of die process of the alternator housing cast. The results obtained about filling behavior and design of die of the cast showed good agreement with test results.
방사성동위원소정맥촬영술의 진단적 의의 : X-선정맥조영술과의 비교 연구 A Comparison with X-ray Contrast Venography

Radionuclide venographies were performed in 138 limbs of 58 patients and X-ray contrast venographies were performed in 23 patients of them. Positive radionuclide venography findings were area of decreased radioactivity flow corre-sponding to the region of thrombosis, abnormal collateral flows and radioactivity stasis below the lesion. The success rate of radionulide venography was 89% and the overall concordance between radionuclide venography and X-ray contrast venography was 91%. Radionuclide venography is simple and easy to perform and less invasive than X-ray contrast venography. These results indicate that radionuclide venography is the most ideal screening test for the detection of venous thrombosis in patient with signs & symptoms of deep vein thrombosis.
MECHANICAL ALLOYING 법에 의한 ZrO₂/NiCrAlY 용사용 복합분말의 제조에 관한 연구

ZrO₂경사기능성 Thermal Barrier Coating(TBC) 내 중간 복합층의 물성을 개선하고자, Mechanical Alloying (이하 M.A.)법에 의해 Y₂O₃ stabilized ZrO₂(이하 YSZ)와 MgO stabilized ZrO₂(이하 MSZ), 그리고 NiCrAlY의 복합분말을 제조하였다. 300시간 M.A. 결과, YSZ/NiCrAly, MSZ/NiCrAlY 모두 유사한 거동을 나타내었다. XRD Peak Broadening은 일어났지만 Shifting은 발생하지않았다. 개개 분말은 NiCrAly 기지에 미세한 YSZ 혹은 MSZ Particle이 분산되어 박혀 있는 판상의 단면형상을 보인다. 분말 크기가 5∼50㎛로 불균질한 양상을 보여 분말의 송급성에 지장을 주리라 사료된다.

폴리스티렌의 닉켈화학도금에서 전처리 및 도금시 용액조성과 조작상의 차가 있으나 활성화 처리를 하기 위한 염화파라디움 용액의 PH는 4.0∼4.5의 범위가 효과적이며 실온에서 약 1분간의 처리로 충분하였다. 도금액인 염화닉켈 용액에서 염화닉켈과 차아인산소다 및 초산소다의 조성비는 3 : 1 : 1이면 효과적이고 PH는 4부근, 온도는 90℃ 이상이면 좋겠다. At the pretreatment of base surface and chemical plating of nickel on the surface of polystyrene there are various differency by solution composition and processing. However, the best range of PH in palladium chloride solution for sensitizing was 4.0∼4.5, and the treatment was completed with one minute at the room temperature. The effective composition ratio of solution was 3:1:1 of nickel chloride, sodium hypophosphite and sodium acetate respectively, its PH was 4, and adequate temperature was over 90℃.
TD PROCESS에 의한 VC coating층의 물성에 관한 연구

The influence of the composition of the molten salt bath, the kind of steel, and the treat time in coating STD11(1.5% C)/STD61(0.4% C) with VC by TD process was clarified. And then wear test, hardness test were made for VC coated STD11/STD61 and hardend STD11/STD61 which were quenched and tempered, in order to observe the properties of VC coated layer and the effects of TD process. The results obtained are as follows. The thickness of VC coated layer was increased with increasing ?? content in molten salt bath, C content in steels, and the treating time. After TD process and tempering, the second layer which consist of the oxide and the remaining salt was on VC layer. The wear loss of VC coated STD11/STD61 were much lessened.

In this study, we investigated the reaction characteristics of polyurethane synthesis by measuring simultaneously resonant frequency and resonant resistance with a quartz crystal analyzer. Polyurethane synthesis gives the rapid decrease of resonant frequency by automatic catalyst effect due to the production of polyurethane at the initial stage. In prepolymer(PP) synthesis, the resonant frequency is slowly stabilized after the rapid decrease at any point of time. But in segmented polyurethane synthesis that chain-extender was added, the resonant frequency increased again after the rapid decrease at any point of time. It is believed that this tendency takes place because the chain-extender, 1,4-butandiol, changes soft segment into hard segment. As the result, we suggest that the reaction characteristics of polyurethane synthesis can be analyzed in on-line using a quartz crystal analyzer, and the systhesis mechanism can also be interpreted.

This study was conducted to develop a multi purpose seeder as an attachment to a small cultivator, and its design criteria has been investigated through the laboratory and field trials. It was also found that our new seeder with small cultivator might control row spacing and hill distance and this new system could be applied for seedling of many kinds of plants.

Electron beam curing of acrylated epoxy resin diluted with mono-functional monomer EGDA has been investigated under circumstances contacted with air and without air. The formulated resin in contact with N2 or covered with film could be cured up to 95% even with low dose of 5kGy and the surface of cured resin became very hard, but cured resin in existence of oxygen and without any additive had a low degree of curing and the surface became sticky due to insufficient curing. Additives such as curing agent P-115 or initiator BPO could increase the degree of curing to more or less one, but these additives could not remove completely surface stickiness. While, at high dose(more than 100kGy), addition of BPO were possible to make the irradiated surface of the resin be non-sticky even in existence of air. Degree of curing of the resin which contained pigment was very high at dose of around 20kGy. Elongation and stress at break on the cured resin with ferric oxide pigment were be higher than with non-ferric oxide pigment. Adhesion and anti-firing of the resin coated on cement block could be excellent.
