CAD/CAE/CAM을 활용한 금형형상 가공에 관한 연구
한규택 한국생산제조학회 2022 한국생산제조학회지 Vol.31 No.2
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the surface roughness and cutting force for the die shape and factor change using CAD/CAE/CAM. RPM, feed rate, and step over were chosen as the main factor for cutting force. To estimate the correlation between cutting force and surface roughness, cutting force was predicted using the DOE(design of experiments) and DEFORM™-3D(software of finite element analysis), surface roughness was measured through experiments. The optimal level for each factor was considered, and the most effective factor was evaluated using the Taguchi method(one of DOE). In this study, the machining conditions to obtain a particular surface roughness based on the measured value were derived.

The purpose of this study is to consider the effects of strain rate on the stress-strain behavior of sheet metal at instability. The results and conclusions obtained as follows : 1. As the strain rate increases, the fracture pressure increases and the polar height at fracture dec-reases. 2. The effect of strain rate on forming limit diagram produces a general lowering of the diagram with increasing strain rate but changes according to matgerials and strain paths. 3. The forming limit diagram predicted by Swift instability theory is comparatively inconsistent with the experimental result at high strain rates, because there is inevitable gap between them.

The fine blanking is a process of pressworking which makes possible to produce thich sheet metal parts of finished sheared surface and close dimensional accuracy over whole material thickness in single blanking operation. Fineblanked parts in general are characterized by theri cleanly sheared surface over the whole stock thickness and accurate size for the specific functions. The fine blanking technology is urgently needed to remove secondary operations which are necessary in conventional blanking operation and cost reduction. In this study, the effect of material texture and vee-ring on the product is investigated by experimental observation and analysis.

Brake tube is considered one of the most important parts in automobile. The shape of brake tube-end has a great influence on the function of brake, and the quality and productivity of brake tube have relation to die design. The forming process of brake tube-end is performed by hydraulic press forming machine. In this paper, the forming processes of tube-end for automobile is analyzed and designed to make the optimal form of brake tube-end. Also, finite element analysis has been carried out using DEFORM-3D^(™) to predict the optimal shape of brake tube-end and the results obtained showed the optimal length between punch and chuck is 1.0 ~1.2㎜. The shape of tube-end is in good agreement with the finite element simulations and the experimental results.

In this study, commercially aluminum sheets in both the as-received and annealed conditions are tested in uniaxial and biaxial tension. Biaxial stretching is performed in dies giving different degrees of stress biaxiality. Resulting effective stresses and plastic strains are estimated according to the modifed Hill's theory. By analyzing the uniaxial and biaxial test results according to the flow rule associated with a yield function proposed by present study, a new material parameter describing the anisotropic behavior has been evaluated. By using reference [3-11], the relation between new material parameter m value and anisotropic parameter R value is received as m ?? 1 + R. This new material behavior description realized a satisfactory agreement between tensile workabily and work-hardening characteristics of the tested aluminum sheets. The same tested aluminum sheet materials have been then tested in order to determine their forming limit diagrams. Result indicates that descrepancies among theoretical and experimental forming limit diagrama are not totally due to the yield function description.
