Farmers and patriots became impoverished by natural disasters and a decline of governmental power at the end of Joseon dynasty, when they were forced to migrate to China for the purpose of either their living or national independence movement. With their descendants, and then, they continued to reside in China even after national independence. They are just called the Joseon tribe in China. In fact, they were subjected to a lot of oppression and exploitation in starting to reside in China, a foreign area. Their living culture is based on the originality of Korean tribe, and they adapted themselves to a variety of new political, cultural and social environments, as well as to local climate and life style. While contacting a different kind of tribes, they also acquired their own knowledge of life. Therefore, their living culture is a version of Korean tribe' s culture. With the recent trend of industrialization with so-called "Korean Dream," their living culture is changing radically and even disappearing gradually. Once a minority race' s culture or life style disappears in the Chinese people-centered society, it can never be recovered. Therefore, it is a very urgent matter to photograph and keep a record of their current culture. It is also our duty to guide the change of their living culture in such a manner that their racial characteristics can be retained in China where a Korean boon is now on.
The Synthesis and Preliminary Activity Assay In Vitro of Peptide-like Derivatives as APN Inhibitors

Both the aminopeptidase N (APN) and matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) are essential metallopeptidases in the development of tumor invasion and angiogenesis. A series of novel peptide-like derivatives were designed and synthesized as antitumor agents. Their structures were confirmed by IR, MS, and 1H-NMR. These compounds exhibited potent inhibitory activities against APN and low activity against MMP in vitro. The derivatives with methoxy group show better activities than those with other substituted group and could be used as lead compounds for exploring new APN inhibitors in the future.

A bottom-modified (4-position) naphthalimide derivative 1 with 1,8-naphthyridine as binding site has been designed and synthesized. Compound 1 is the first 1,8-naphthyridine-modified naphthalimide-based sensor that can detect $Hg^{2+}$ selectively with respect to ratiometric fluorescent change and blue shift in organic aqueous solution. The Job's plot and FAB mass indicate that 1 formed a 1:1 complex with $Hg^{2+}$. A top-modified naphthalimide derivative 2 with 1,8-naphthyridin as binding site has also been synthesized for comparison.

In the context of modern urban governance, urban governance model has become an important engine to promote urban development. But the problem of mobile vendor governance as a treatment for urban governance directly affects the city`s image and development. This would impose higher and stricter requirements on urban governance in the transitional period. This article focuses on the behavioral dilemma of urban management personnel and mobile vendor. It describes the change of urban governance model from the government supervisor to the pluralistic co-governance, and summed up the multiple characteristics of urban governance in the process of the flow. Finally, on the basis of order theory, the author puts forward the new model of urban governance, which demands all citizen`s autonomy under the coordination of government.

Excessive activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome is a key component contributing to the pathogenesis of various inflammatory diseases. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying its activation and regulation remain poorly defined. The objective of this study was to explore the possible function of the K+ channel pore-forming subunit Kir6.1 in regulating NLRP3 inflammasome activation and insulin resistance. Here, we demonstrate that Kir6.1 depletion markedly activates the NLRP3 inflammasome, whereas enhanced Kir6.1 expression produces opposing effects both in mice in vivo and in primary cells in vitro. We also demonstrate that Kir6.1 controls insulin resistance by inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome activation in mice. We further show that Kir6.1 physically associates with NLRP3 and thus inhibits the interactions between the NLRP3 inflammasome subunits. Our results reveal a previously unrecognized function of Kir6.1 as a negative regulator of the NLRP3 inflammasome and insulin resistance, which is mediated by virtue of its ability to inhibit NLRP3 inflammasome assembly. These data provide novel insights into the regulatory mechanism of NLRP3 inflammasome activation and suggest that Kir6.1 is a promising therapeutic target for inflammasome-mediated inflammatory diseases.

The frequency- and temperature-dependent dielectric properties for printed circuit board (PCB) applications are investigated in the frequency range from 1 kHz to 1 MHz and the temperature range from 300 K to 600 K. The applicable range of frequency for the capacitance-voltage (C-V) technique is discussed. An analytical model based on the experimental results and the theoretical analysis is proposed to give rise to a comprehensive understanding of the correlations between the operation temperature and the dielectric properties, where the temperature-dependent dipole property is investigated.
