      • 폐결핵 환자 혈청에서 수용성 Interleukin 2 수용체 및 Adenosine Deaminase 활성도에 관한 연구

        Interleukin-2 (IL-2) induces T cell proliferation in an autocrine manner and provides a means by which antigen triggered T cells can be clonally expanded in vitro. During the following activation, the activity of IL-2 is mediated by specific high affinity IL-2 binding membrane receptors which are expressed shortly after activation. In this process, a 42 KD-fragment (soluble IL-2R) is continuously cleaved off and circulates as a soluble marker of T lymphocyte activation. Elevated level of soluble IL-2R has been identified in the serum of patients with malignant autoimmune and allergic disorders, systemic parasitic infection, undergoing graft versus host disease, acute or chronic lymphocytic leukemia and HIV-infection. ADA (adenosine deaminase) completes the process of differentiation of T cell and is essential for progression of T cell maturation. Therefore level of ADA is to correlated with magnitude of T cell immune response. The fact that expression of sIL-2R and ADA activity increases in peripheral blood T-lymphocytes of patients with active pulmonary tuberculosis suggests that T cell activation might have a major role in the pathogenesis of pulmonary tuberculosis. In order to evaluate the T cell immune response in pulmonary tuberculosis, we measured the serum concentration of sIL-2R and ADA activity in 17 patients with current pulmonary tuberculosis, 10 chronic inactive pulmonary tuberculosis, 10 as normal controls. (1) Current pulmonary tuberculosis had significantly higher levels of sIL-2R (237.24±95.47)when compared with those of inactive tuberculosis (78.6±11.06). and the control (68.17±15.4) group. (2) ADA activity in current pulmonary tuberculosis was significantly increased (34.41±20.63) when compared with those of inactive tuberculosis (24.7±14.36) and control (17.65± 5.94) group. (3) There was good correlation between sIL-2R concentration and ADA activity in serum in current pulmonary tuberculosis group. (4) sIL-2R concentration and ADA activity was decreased significantly 6 months after anti-tuberculosis drug medication. In conclusion, sIL-2R concentration and ADA activity in serum in current pulmonary tuberculosis group was increased when compared with those of inactive pulmonary tuberculosis and the control group. By the way, T cell mediated immune response was enhanced in current pulmonary tuberculosis, but in inactive chronic pulmonary tuberculosis who had treated by antituberculosis drug medication, the concentration of sIL-2R and ADA activity was nearly normal.

        Recently various service is provided as developing of wireless internet in mobile environment. Also mobile GIS service is provided too. In mobile environment, the service use wireless internet. So it is not adaptable to apply the service which provided in existing internet environment. And owing to each service provide service independently, mobile GIS service is hard to look for interoperability This paper is developed encoding standard for mobile GIS application for service to be conform mobile environment and to be guarantee interoperability between service. First, we analyzed GML 3.1 standard for encoding standard and investigate encoding method to use in mobile GIS service. And we derive characteristic of GIS in mobile environment to analyze domestic GIS. We develop mobile GIS encoding standard by analyzing MATRIX of analyzed GML 3.1 standard and derived characteristic to analyze service.

        Nowdays GIS (Geographic Information System) has been widely used in public and private part. As demands on map via internet have been dramatically increasing, traditional GIS system is being developed to Web based system which uses Web browsers. Web based GIS system consists of Web Map Oient and Server. The Web Map Server offers geospatial data to several Web Map Oients. In this paper, we propose an interface of web map server. The interface provides user-defined styles and dedicated features for mobile environment as well as simple request for map.

        Background: Superior colliculus is a part of midbrain, and participates in the visual reflexes, It receives afferent fibers from optic nerve, visual cortex, and spinotectal tract. After optic deprivation, the microscopic structure of the superior colliculus changed. Calcium-binding proteins (CBPs) Play an important role in the neuronal protection, differentiation and reorganization of the central nervous system, Objectives and Methods: The effects of neonatal retinal deafferentation on a CBPs, calbindm D-28k (CB), Parvalbumin (PB) and calretimn (CR), and the existence of colocalization between the CBPs were examined immunohistochemically in the rat superior colliculus. Results: On the experimental (contralateral to enucleation) side of superior colliculus, the number of CB-immunoreactive (IR) cells was reduced (77.4% compared to control), but not fibers. The number of PB-IR neurons and fibers was also reduced on the experimental side (88.5% compared to control), In the other hand, the CR-IR cells were dramatically increased (642% compared to control), but CR-IR fibers were markedly decreased on the experimental side. The colocalization between CB-CR and PV-CR was rarely observed in the superior colliculus Conclusion: These results suggest that the changes of retinotectal projection may alter the expressional pattern of CBPs in different manners; relatively stable in CB- and PV-IR neurons and plastic in CR-IR neurons.

      • 한국형 인공심장 내의 혈류에 대한 수치해석적 연구

        한국형 인공심장 내의 혈액 유동을 유한요소 코드인 ADINA를 사용하여 수치적으로 조사하였다. 그 동안 많은 실험을 통해서 밝혀진 중요한 문제점들 중의 하나는 바로 혈전 생성이다. 이것은 혈액 주머니내의 작용하는 과도한 높은 전단응력 또는 정체 영역과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 한국형 인공심장 내의 혈류는 액추에이터와 혈액주머니, 그리고 혈액의 상호작용에 의하여 정의될 수 있다. 여기에서 혈액은 비압축성, 뉴우턴 유체로 가정하였으며, 혈액주머니는 등방성 선형 고체재질로 가정하였다. 2차원 모델은 액추에이터와 혈액 주머니 사이의 접측 문제 및 고체-유체 상호작용 문제를 전부 고려하였다. 3차원 모델에서는 액추에이터에 의한 변형을 접촉문제를 혈액주머니 외부에 작용하는 압력조건으로 단순화하였다. 2차원 모델 계산결과에 의하면, 입구 및 출구 부근, 그리고 모서리 부근에서 전단응력의 세기가 매우 크다는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 또한 위쪽 돌출부에서 속도가 매우 느려지는 정체 영역이 형성되었으며, 이는 실험에서 관찰된 혈전 생성영역과 거의 일치한다. 3차원 계산의 경우에도 역시 입구와 출구 부분에서 재순환 영역이 발견되었으며, 수축시에는 입구의 아래쪽에서, 이완시에는 출구의 아래쪽에서 정체영역이 생성됨을 알 수 있었다. One of the crucial problems which make the artificial heart operate improperly is the thrombus formation. Many experimental results show the thrombus formation is strongly retated with a high shear stress and the stagnation in the blood flow. Therefore study on the blood flow in artificial hearts is very important in a practical point of view. This thesis deals with the two- and three-dimensional unsteady blood flows in the Korean total artificial hearts(KTAH). It is numerically investigated by using the commercial finite element code ADINA. The flow in the sac of artificial heart results from the mutual interaction of the acuator, sac, and blood. Blood is assumed as an incompressible viscous Newtonian fluid, while the sac is considered to be elastic and isotropic solid material. The contact problem between the actuator and sac is included in the two-dimensional modelling. Because of the tremendously calculation time, the action of the actuator is replaced by the imposition of the time-varying pressure on the outer surface of the sac. Numerical results show a high shear stress distribution near the inlet and outlet corners of the sac. From two-dimensional calculation flow stagnation is seen to be found in the upper convex part of the sac. By comparing the numerical results with the experimental ones we can conclude the thrombus is generated in regions where blood flow stagnates or is very slow.

      • Effects of Back Annealing on the Structural and Electrical Properties of Cu<sub>2</sub>ZnSnSe<sub>4</sub> Thin Films Grown by a Modified Two-Step Process

        <P>In this study, we investigate the electrical and structural properties of Cu2ZnSnSe4 (CZTSe) thin films grown by a two-step process. CZTSe precursors are deposited on a Mo-coated soda-lime glass (Mo/SLG) by coevaporation at 150 degrees C. After deposition, the precursors are annealed in different directions under normal pressure by rapid thermal processing (RTP) at 590 degrees C. One precursor is annealed from the top of the precursor (front annealing), and another is annealed from the Mo/SLG side (back annealing). Using a back-annealing RTP of the co-evaporated Cu-Zn-Sn-Se precursor, the efficiency of CZTSe devices is increased by more than 60%. The surface morphology and grain size of the CZTSe thin film is greatly improved after back annealing. In the XRD patterns, the back-annealed CZTSe thin film also shows the improved crystal quality for the (112), (024), and (132) planes. The reverse saturation current density of the back-annealed CZTSe thin film is 10 times smaller than that of the front-annealed thin film. From these results, we find that the back-annealing method can improve the structural and electrical properties of CZTSe thin films.</P>

        Effects of the annealing temperature on the properties of sulfur-graded Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 thin films grown by a modified two-step process

        In this study, we investigated the electrical and structural properties of sulfur-graded Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4(CZTSSe) thinfilms grown using a modified two-step process according to the annealing temperature. The sulfur content of the CZTSSe thinfilm was increased with annealing temperature and a Zn(S, Se)secondary phase was observed at temperatures higher than 500 C. The Raman spectrum of the CZTSSethinfilm shifted continuously toward the high frequency direction with increasing S content and theCu2SnSe3 (CTSe) secondary phase was present below 440 C. From the results of dimpling Ramanspectroscopy and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) line scanning, we confirmed thatthe S content increased gradually from the Mo back contact to the surface of the CZTSSe thinfilm. Finally,a sulfur-graded CZTSSe thinfilm with a photovoltaic efficiency of 7.03% was fabricated by optimizing theannealing temperature.

      • Effects of a Pretreatment on Al-Doped ZnO Thin Films Grown by Atomic Layer Deposition.

        <P>In this study, we investigated the electrical, structural, and optical properties of Al-doped ZnO (AZO) thin films approximately 50 nm thick grown by atomic layer deposition (ALD) on glass substrates at 200 °C. An H2O pretreatment was conducted for all AZO samples. The electrical properties of the AZO thin film were improved after the pretreatment process. The Al doping concentrations were controlled by inserting an Al2O3 cycle after every 'n' ZnO cycles while varying n from 99 to 16. As the doping concentration increases, the resistivity decreases and the optical band gap increases. When the Al2O3 cycle ratio is 5%, the electrical resistivity showed the lowest value of 4.66 x 10(-3) 곽 cm. A carrier concentration of 1.10 x 10(20) cm(-3), and the optical transmittance exceeding 90% were obtained in the visible and near-infrared region. The thin film was strongly textured along the (100) direction in the X-ray diffraction patterns.</P>
