A goiter is among the most common presenting symptoms of patients with thyroid diseases and is usually caused by intrinsic thyroid problems. While direct invasion of the trachea by aggressive thyroid tumors is a well-known phenomenon, the reverse situation, that is, a primary tracheal neoplasm invading by direct extension into the thyroid gland, presenting with a goiter is very rare. Here, a case of a tracheal adenoid cystic carcinoma(ACC), presenting with a diffuse goiter, is reported. A 47-year-old woman presented with slowly growing anterior neck swelling. A physical examination showed a diffuse firm goiter. The patient was euthyroiditic, and serum negative for thyroid autoantibodies. Thyroid ultrasonography and neck CT revealed a doughnut-shaped mass, encircling the trachea and displacing the thyroid anteriorly. Ultrasonography-guided fine needle aspiration(FNA) was compatible with an ACC, and a subsequent surgical resection confirmed the diagnosis. Although the occurrence of a tracheal ACC invading the thyroid is rare, this case highlights the need to be aware of unusual lesions arising in the region of the thyroid. This knowledge will help in making the correct cytological diagnosis when these lesions are sampled by FNA 저자 등은 약 3년 동안 서서히 진행하는 미만갑상샘종을 호소하는 46세 여자환자에서 갑상샘초음파 및 초음파유도 갑상샘미세침흡인술을 통해 진단된 매우 드문 경부기도 기원의 샘낭암종을 경험하였기에 그 특징적인 임상적, 영상진단학적, 세포병리적 소견들을 문헌고찰과 함께 기술하며, 샘낭암종과 같은 갑상샘 인접장기의 질환이 가성갑상샘종의 한 원인이 될 수 있으므로 임상가들은 미만갑상샘질환의 감별진단에 있어 그 가능성도 고려해야 함을 강조하는 바이다.
Graphite-Ni계 분말의 제조 및 용사 코팅 특성에 미치는 공정변수의 영향

Graphite-Ni composite powders were synthesized by mechanical alloying(MA) and spray drying(SD). Fabricated powders as well as commercial graphite-Ni powders were thermally sprayed on mild steel substrates using high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) thermal spray process and flame thermal spray process. The effects of several process parameters on related properties in thermally sprayed coatings have been investigated and correlated with microstructures in this study. The results indicated that the desired properties can be obtained when commercial powders were applied using HVOF process, while coating properties in case of MA powder application were inferior to those in HVOF process in so far. However, it is suggested that property enhancement can be obtained if the fraction of hexagonal graphite phase can be increased in mechanically alloyed powders.
수학, 과학 교과 중등교원양성 교육과정의 현장 적합성 분석

이 연구는 중등교원양성 교육과정을 개선하고 학교 현장과의 유기적 연계를 모색하기 위하여 중등교원양성 교육과정의 교육현장 적합성을 분석하고, 이를 높이기 위한 방안을 탐색하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 과학, 수학 교사를 대상으로 한 설문조사와 교수 및 교사를 대상으로 전문가집단면담(Focus Group Interview)을 실시하였다. 이 연구에 의하면 중등교원양성 교육과정은 ‘투철한 교직관’을 함양하고, ‘교과전문성’ 역량을 충족시킴으로써 교육자의 자질과 전문성을 높이는 데 기여하고 있다. 그러나 중등교원양성과정은 학교업무와 교수학습사태의 실제, 학생에 대한 이해 및 상담, 진로 지도 등의 실천적 역량 함양에 있어서는 다소 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 면담 결과에 의하면 중등교원양성 교육과정의 현장 적합성이 낮게 나타나는 이유로 교육 시간의 부족과 대규모 강의, 학습자의 능동적 참여 감소, 통합적 교과내용의 증가, 이론과 현장의 괴리 등의 문제점이 제기되었다. 전문가집단면담의 결과, 교원양성과정의 장기적 개선방안을 마련하기 위하여 검토가 필요한 사항으로는 교과내용학적 관점에서 교원양성 교육과정의 학문적 정체성 정립, 교과교육학의 관점에서 예비 교사 교육의 수준과 범위의 재설정 등을 제안하고 있다. The purpose of this study is to explore the suitability of secondary school teacher education curriculum on science and math subjects in actual school site. For analysis, this study analyzed survey which measured secondary school teachers’ demands for site suitability and also the study conducted focus group interview to support the finding. According to the survey results, teachers responded that their teacher education curriculum did not provide direct effect on their teaching practice but the major course education played relatively more important role. Also, it was found that teachers were perceiving that their teacher education curriculum helped them improving teaching philosophy and subject professionalism. However, the curriculum was not sufficient for improving various practical matters such as school administrative works, student consulting skills and career advise. According to the focus group interview, participants perceived various environmental changes such as lack of training hours, large size lecture, change in learner"s participatory attitude, gap between theory and practice and introduction of new theories into school curriculum. This study suggested following policy implication that can improve the site suitability of teacher education such as providing activities based on student development, educating teachers to teach core concepts for students and integrate various subjects. Lastly, main issues regarding site suitability was found as following such as necessity of designing curriculum that considers career uncertainty of teacher"s college students, defining academic characteristics of science and math education and reinforcing teacher education curriculum-professional training program relations
에멀젼 건조법에 의한 Bi-2223 초전도 분말과 테이프 제조

액상 분말 합성법 중의 하나인 에멀젼 건조 방법에 의한 분말 합성은 조성 조절이 용이하고 균질한 미립자 분말을 제조할 수 있는 장점을 지니고 있다. 에멀젼 건조법을 사용하여 합성 분체의 초기 형상과 입도를 제어하고 근본적으로 더욱 개선된 homogeneity를 얻었다. 에멀젼의 분리를 억제시킬 수 있는 계면활성제, 오일상 및 수용액의 혼합비를 조절함으로써 Bi(Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O 초전도 분말을 제조할 수 있었다. 이 방법에 의하여 합성된 산화물 초전도체 분말의 특성 및 pellet으로 성형한 시편을 열처리하여 미세구조와 전기적 특성을 조사하였다. 또한, OPIT(Oxide Powder-in-tube)법에 의해 테이프를 제작하여 미세구조와 전기적 특성을 관찰하였다. 합성된 분말의 입자크기는 1$\mu$m이하의 구형이었으나 대부분이 2~5$\mu$m크기로 응집되어 있었다. Ar분위기의 1/13atm 산소분압(Po2)에서 84$0^{\circ}C$로 72시간 동안 열처리한 덩어리형 시편의 임계저항온도는 108K이었으며, 1차와 2차 열처리한 테이프의 임계전류는 각각 0.4A와 1.5A이었다. The powder preparation by using emulsion drying method, one of the chemical powder fabrication methods has the advantages; easy to control the chemical stoichiometry and to fabricate homogeneously fine particles. In the present study, the initial morphology and size distribution of the powder fabricated by using emulsion dry-ing method were controlled and were improved the homogeneity. By carefully controlling the mixing ratio of oil phase and aqueous solution and surfactant of preventing emulsion separation, the Bi(Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O su-perconducting powders were prepared. The properties of the superconducting powder fabricated by this method and the microstructures and superconducting properties of the pelletized samples were investigated. The microstructures and electric properties of the tapes prepared by oxide powder-in-tube method were in-vestigated. The fabricated powder was spherical with less than 1$\mu$m but most of them was agglomerated with 2~5$\mu$m in size. The critical temperature of the pelletized sample annealed at 84$0^{\circ}C$ for 72 hours in oxygen par-tial pressure of 1/13atm in Ar atmosphere was 108K. And the critical current of the first and second annealed tapes in air prepared by oxide powder-in-tube process were 0.4A and 1.5A, respectively.
