In 1995, the costumes were restored in an unknown woman's tomb at the Jeonju Lee's family cemetery in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-Do, and there are currently nine items remaining. In this study, we first introduced these 9 relics to academia and analyzed the morphological characteristics of the costumes. We also estimated the time and person of burial compared with costumes unearthed from other burials. Jeogories (short jacket) are all four items. One of these items was unusual in shape, and the upper part of the seop (gusset) was wrinkled and shaped. This type of Jeogori appears only till the 1520s in other tombs. There are also two skirts, one of which is characterized by a superimposed pattern. The top and bottom / middle part of the skirt were rolled up, and the skirt, which was double-rolled up in this way, was first discovered. An analysis of the shape of Jeogori and skirt indicated that the person buried in the Jeonju Lee's family tomb was believed to have survived until the early 16th century. Based on these estimated periods, as a result of looking at the genealogy of Jeonju Lee's family, it was concluded that the tomb was probably a woman named Lee Geum Myeong (李金命) born in the mid-15C and died between the late 15C and the early 16C.

17C is an important time in the history of costumes of the Joseon Dynasty. Internationally, Qing was replaced for Ming, changing the subject of political influence on Joseon, and domestically, Imjin Waeran and Byeongja Horan ended with many social and cultural changes. In this period, there were new forms of costumes that had not been before, and the costumes that had existed in the past changed greatly in shape. This study examined Gongjeongchaek newly born in the 17C Joseon focusing on the process of its forming and subject of its historical investigation, and summarized the status of its usage until the first half of 20C. Chaek and Gongjeongchaek were hats born in China, and ‘Gongjeong (空頂: uncovering the top of the hat)’ meant a symbol of a minor. The hats covering the top of the head were only available to adults. In the late Joseon Dynasty, as Confucian rituals became more intense, the ritual ceremony that is a coming-of-age ceremony were practiced in earnest, which led to a widespread awareness of the need for minors’ hats in accordance with the ritual law. For this reason, Gongjeongchaek was newly established at 17C in Joseon after the discussions between the king and his servants. These hats were not used in China at the time of the establishment of Gongjeongchaek in Joseon. Therefore, Gongjeongchaek, differentiated from that of China actually came into the world by referring to the system shown in the old literature. Through the study, it was confirmed that the Hongmungwan public servants sought for the ancient sources to find the related system and to check the form when creating new costumes in the Joseon Dynasty. Based on the data extracted by the Hongmungwan public servant, the king and his servants discussed the form and confirmed the form according to the courtesy law and status. In fact, people with scholarly knowledge of history and practice led to the historical investigation rather than the craftsmen only with the skills.

This study investigated the process of specialization and characteristics that take place in cultural commercial streets of Bangchun Market and Kim, Kwangsuk-gil constructed and developed by public-led urban regeneration projects. Physical changes and behavioral factors in Bangchun Market and Kim, Kwangsuk-gil were analyzed through literature surveys, field surveys, interviews etc. And based on the analysis contents, This study looked at positive and negative effects of gentrification in the area. Through this, I would like to suggest some suggestions on the future direction of cultural commercial streets in Bangchun Market and Kim, Kwangsuk-gil. The cultural and commercial streets of Bangchun Market and Kim, Kwangsuk-gil are different from the general commercial streets that occur naturally. Gentrification developed with the introduction of public initiative for urban regeneration and distinctive cultural factors. As time goes by, the negative effects of the treatment are deepening, including the deterioration of cultural factors and expansion of commercial functions. Thus, the gentrificaion on Bangchun Market and Kim, Kwangsuk-gil should move toward maintaining and developing its own unique cultural element. For this, the various players who form regions should pay attention not only to the development of the Kim, Kwangsuk-gil, but also the improvement of Bangchun Markets’s functions. And it should also try to come up with more specific solutions to preserve cultural-based regional characteristics.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of horticultural therapy program for female reformatory students on improvement of their self-esteem, immersion and happiness. 42 female reformatory students participated. Experimental group of 22 members received a horticultural therapy program and control group of 20 members did not receive a horticultural therapy program. And this study was performed once a week from March 2013 to June 2013, a total of twelve sessions. The program from “The effect of horticultural therapy on personality development of female reformatory student(Choi, 2013)” was applied. As the results, self-esteem, immersion and happiness level of experimental group was improved significantly. Moreover, it is found statistically that each variable is positively(+) correlated. When self-esteem and immersion were improved, the happiness was also improved. Therefore this study is said to be relevant to find that the ‘improvement of self-esteem and immersion’ is main factor of ‘improvement of happiness’ and the horticultural therapy program affects positively to female reformatory students on improvement of their self-esteem, immersion and happiness. In addition, the horticultural therapy program could be utilized as character education after seeking various application plans to prevent juvenile delinquents from repeated delinquency.
