An objective of this study is to investigate the effects of variables which influence the behavior of reinforced concrete columns under uniaxial load. The main variables in this study are cover concrete, longitudinal steel ratio configuration of ties, strength of concrete and H/D of specimen. To do thin procedure, we have conducted tests on 14 specimens. To understand the behavior of core concrete, we need to derive the stress-strain curve of core concrete from the load-strain curve of total cross section. Thereafter experimental relationship is compared with theoretical models.

The wheel bearings support the weight of the vehicle and smooth the rotation of the wheel & tires. When the wheel bearing is assembled to the vehicle, the wheel bearing outer ring is deformed due to the fastening force, which adversely affects the life of the wheel bearing. In this study, to minimize the deformation of the wheel bearing outer ring under the assembling condition, we derived a model that minimizes the roundness deformation through analysis of the influence of the design factor of the wheel bearing outer ring on the roundness of the outer ring. And the improvement effect of the optimization model was verified through analysis and experiments.
윤활유 공급량에 따른 스퍼 기어의 피팅 수명에 관한 연구

The object of this study is to investigate influences of supplied lubricant quantities on spur gear's pitting life. Pitting is a sort of contact fatigue failures and made by a repetitive load. Basically, pitting is difficult to predict its life by an analysis due to many factors to be considered about tribology problems. In this paper, pitting life was proved by experiment using two roller machine. For a contact fatigue test, operating circumstances should be considered. During the test, temperature and lubricant quantities are considered and to investigate an influence of lubricant quantities, a comparison between optimally enough and not enough lubricant quantity was implemented.
Synthesis and characterization of pentathiophene based copolymer for OTFT

The new dialkylated pentathiophene based copolymer was synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction. The PD5TADF is synthesized and used as an active material for organic thin film transistor (OTFTs). The copolymer has good solubility in common organic solvent such as toluene, tetrahydrofuran(THF), chloroform, chlorobenzene and dichlorobenzene. The number average molecular weight (Mn) was measured to be 148,000. The TGA curve shows that the polymers exhibit good thermal stability with a weight loss of less than 5% upon heating to 419 C with glass temperature at 184.9 C. The ultraviolet (UV) maximum of the polymer was found at 494 nm in solution and 498 nm in the film. A thin-film transistor with PD5TADF was found to exhibit typical p-channel FET characteristics with a hole mobility of 26×10<sup>-4</sup> ㎠/Vs and an on/off ratio of 304×104 with a threshold voltage of -45 V.
