Block copolymers (BCPs) with rigid structures, such as helical polymers, pose synthetic challenges using traditional polymerization methods. This study presents an approach to synthesizing polyisocyanides (PIs) with alkyne end groups, facilitating the creation of BCPs through click chemistry. An aryl nickel complex, modified with a trimethylsilyl-protected alkyne group, was employed as a polymerization catalyst for 4-methoxy isocyanide. The polymerization exhibited high efficiency, producing PIs with controlled molecular weight and narrow molecular weight distribution. Post-polymerization deprotection reaction yielded alkyne-terminated PIs, enabling the formation of BCPs through copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition click reactions with (R)-3-azido-1-phenylpropal-1-ol and azide-functionalized poly(ethylene oxide), successfully forming PI-c-PP and PEO-b-PI block copolymers. Characterization using NMR spectroscopy and MALDI-TOF MS confirmed the successful incorporation and subsequent deprotection of the alkyne groups. This approach provides a versatile route to synthesize end-functionalized helical polymers, enabling the creation of helical-coil block copolymers with potential applications in nanostructure formation.
메탄올-물 혼합용매에서 전도도법에 의한 벤조산 및 치환된 벤조산의 해리에 관한 연구

25$^{\circ}$C 때 벤조산과 메타 및 파라위치에 할로겐(F, Cl, Br)이 치환된 $pK_a$값을 메탄올-물 혼합용매(0∼80% 메탄올) 중에서 Fuoss-Kraus 식에 근거한 전도도법과 Gelb의 전도도법을 이용하여 결정하였다. 할로겐 치환기에 따른 벤조산의 $pK_a$ 변화를 전자받게 유도효과와 전자주게 공명효과로 복합시킨 치환기 상수(${\sigma}_1$ 및 ${\sigma}_R$)로써 논의하였다. ${\sigma}_1$가 $D^{-1}$에 대하여 양(+)의 기울기를 갖는 직선성을 보인 반면 ${\sigma}_R$은 $D^{-1}$에 대하여 음(-)의 기울기를 갖는 직선성을 보이고 있는데, 이를 field effect의 유전상수 의존성과 할로겐 치환기의 ${\pi}$-고립쌍 전자와 이온화 중심간의 through-space ${\pi}$-상호작용으로 해석하였다. The $pK_a$ values of benzoic acid and meta, para-halogen substituted benzoic acids in MeOH-$H_2O$ mixtures (0∼80% of MeOH) have been determined at 25$^{\circ}$C using a conductometric method on the basis of the Fuoss-Kraus equation, and further verified using modified conductometric method of Gelb. The dependence of $pK_a$ on halogen substituents has been discussed in terms of substituent-constant (${\sigma}$), which is devided into electron-withdrawing inductive contribution (${\sigma}_1$) and electron-donating ${\pi}$-resonance one (${\sigma}_R$). The linear-dependence of ${\sigma}_1$'s on $D^{-1}$ with positive slope and that of ${\sigma}_R$'s on $D^{-1}$ with negative slope have been interpreted on the basis of field effect and through-space interaction of ${\pi}$-lone pair of halogen substituent and ionization center via ${\pi}$-system of benzene ring.
에탄올-물 혼합용매에서 전도도법에 의한 벤조산의 해리상수에 관한 연구

벤조산, 파라메톡시벤조산 및 파라니트로벤조산의 산해리상수를 $25^{\circ}C$에서 메탄올의 무게퍼센트가 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 65 및 80%인 에탄올-물 혼합용매중에서 직접 전도도를 측정하는 방법과 약산의 시료를 과염소산용액으로 적정하면서 전도도를 측정하는 방법으로 구하고, 이 두가지 방법으로 구한 결과를 검토하고 다른 방법과 비교하였다. The dissociation constants of benzoic acid, p-methoxybenzoic acid and p-nitrobenzoic acid have been determined at $25^{\circ}C$ in ethanol-water mixtures containing 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 65 and 80 weight % ethanol by the direct conductance measurements and the method involving titration of the acid sample with perchloric acid reagent. The results by the two methods have been discussed and compared with those by other methods.

With the development of the big data environment, public institutions also have been providing big data infrastructures. Public data is one of the typical examples, and numerous applications using public data have been provided. One of the cases is related to the employment insurance. All employers have to make contracts for the employment insurance for all employees to protect the rights. However, there are abundant cases where employers avoid to buy insurances. To overcome these challenges, a data-driven approach is needed; however, there are lacks of methodologies to integrate, manage, and analyze the public data. In this paper, we propose a methodology to build a predictive model for identifying whether employers have made the contracts of employment insurance based on public data. The methodology includes collection, integration, pre-processing, analysis of data and generating prediction models based on process mining and data mining techniques. Also, we verify the methodology with case studies. 빅데이터의 중요성이 증가함에 따라 공공기관에서는 다양한 빅데이터 관련 인프라를 제공하고 있으며, 그 중 하나가 공공데이터이다. 공공데이터 기반의 다양한 활용 사례가 공유되고 있으며, 공공기관에서도 데이터 기반의 모델을 통해 공공의 문제를 해결하려는 움직임을 보이고 있다. 대표적으로 사회 보험 중 하나인 고용보험 케이스가 있다. 고용보험은 근로자의 권익 보호를 위해 근로자를 고용한 모든 사업주가 필수적으로 가입하여야 하는 보험이지만 가입누락의 경우가 많다. 가입누락을 막기 위한 데이터 기반의 접근이 필요하지만, 분산된 형태의 공공데이터, 수집 시기의 차이로 인해 데이터 통합이 어렵고, 체계적인 방법론이 부재한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 공공데이터를 기반의 고용보험 가입 예측을 위한 모델 도출방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 본 방법론은 데이터 수집, 데이터 통합 및 전처리, 데이터 탐색 및 이력 데이터 분석, 예측 모델 도출을 포함하며, 프로세스 마이닝 및 데이터 마이닝을 활용한다. 또한, 사례 연구를 통해 본 방법론의 유효성을 검증한다.

Equine influenza (EI) is the main cause of respiratory illness in equines across the globe and is caused by equine influenza A virus (EIV-A), which has impacted the equine industry internationally because of the marginal mortality and high morbidity. In the present study, the immune responses after equine influenza vaccination were evaluated in 4,144 horses in Korea using the hemagglutination inhibition (HI) assay. The equine influenza virus (EIV), A/equine/South Africa/4/03 (H3N8), was used as the antigen in the HI assay. The mean seropositive rates were 89.2% (97.4% in 2016, 77.6% in 2017, and 92.4% in 2018). This paper highlights the advances in understanding the effects of vaccines and control strategies for mitigating the emerging menace by EIV.
광범위한 뇌경색증이 합병된 지발형 B군 사슬알균에 의한 수막염 증례

Group B streptococcus (GBS) is the leading cause of neonatal morbidity and mortality. Late-onset GBS disease commonly manifests as occult bacteremia or meningitis. Approximately 50% of survivors of late-onset meningitis have long-term neurologic sequelae. Cerebrovascular complications are often associated with unfavorable clinical outcomes of GBS meningitis. There have been a few reports of cerebral infarction accompanied by GBS meningitis. We report a 29-day-old girl with severe, widespread cerebral infarction due to late-onset GBS meningitis. Isolated GBS strain from this patient was serotype III, ST-19. Currently, she has cortical blindness and significant developmental delay.
