Intercellular Adhesion Molecule-1(ICAM-1) plays an important role in a variety of inflammatory and immune-mediated mechanisms, including lymphocyte recruitment and targeting, antigen presentation and recognition, and lymphocyte cytotoxicity. In order to study the changes of soluble ICAM-1 and relationship to the immune mechanism of Graves' disease, we performed the measurement of a soluble form of ICAM-1 in sera from patients with Graves' disease before and after treatment with antithyroid drugs using a highly sensitive ELISA method. Our results were as followed. 1) The serum levels of soluble ICAM-1 in patients with Graves' disease before treatment were significantly elevated than normal controls(p$lt;0.001). 2) The serum levels of soluble ICAM-1 in patients with Graves' disease after treatment significantly decreased after treatment(p$lt;0.001) but not as low as normal controls. 3) The serum levels of soluble ICAM-1 molecule in patients with ophthalmopathy were not elevated compared to patients with no ophthalmopathy(p$gt;0.2). 4) The serum levels of soluble ICAM-1 showed no significant correlation with serum titers of anti-thyroperoxidase antibody and anti-thyroglobulin antibody, serum T_3, T_4, TSH and goiter size in patients with Graves' disease. In conclusion, the soluble ICAM-1 levels reflect the activity of autoimmune reaction and might be used as a index of efficacy of antithyroid drug treatment of Graves' disease(J Kor Soc Endocrinol 10: 45-51, 1995).
트랜스포머 모델을 활용한 전기차 배터리 SOH 예측 연구

This paper presents a Transformer-based State of Health(SoH) estimation algorithm that is applied to publicly available NASA data. Data preprocessing involves the application of a moving average to reduce noise and utilize wavelet transformers to extract features. The preprocessed data serves as input to the Transformer model in estimating SoH. Next, a comparative analysis with an LSTM-based model is conducted by using the Root Mean Square Error(RMSE) metric. The proposed model demonstrates a superior SoH estimation accuracy, surpassing the LSTM-based model by up to 39.58 %.

This paper presents a experimental method for reduction of interior noise in compartment of passenger car. Though results in Wide-Open Throttle valve(WOT), the studied vehicle has a Interior noise problem at rear passenger seats. In order to identify the Noise transfer path of interior noise, Noise transfer function(NTF) of panels is fulfilled. The NTF obtained by experiment using Vibro-acoustic reciprocity. Using this methods, it has been founded that rear part of the roof and rear window shield glass of the test car were a noise source for the Interior noise. Based on these results, we verified that it is identical with Panel contribution analysis(PCA).

Over the years many different engineering tools have been developed for analyzing and optimizing vehicle NVH. A significant group within these is formed by the transfer path analysis methods (TPA). The goal of these methods is to analyze noise transfer between noise sources and a receiver. To give an example from the automotive industry, the engine in a car is a noise and vibration source and the driver or another passenger is a receiver. In this case the noise source is known, but there are a large number of connections and possible pathways through which noise and vibration energy can reach the receiver. With the help of TPA the critical loads and propagation paths, that contribute the most to a given noise and vibration problems, can be identified. In this paper, we will introduce TPA analysis method for various NVH problems in vehicle NVH development stage. The first is the evaluation and testing method of Booming Noise contribution using Single Reference TPA. The results for the matrix inversion method, Mount stiffness method, and OPAX are also presented here. The second is Road Noise contribution evaluation and test method using Multi-Reference TPA. The third is Panel Contribution Analysis using ASQ. Finally, we conducted a rough modification of the problem that appeared in the TPA results on the Proto vehicle and conducted the reliability verification.
항갑상선제로 치료한 그레이브병 환자의 임상경과에 따른 혈청 수용성 ICAM-1 농도의 변화

Background: TSH binding inhibiting imunoglobulins(TBII) are autoimmune antibody causing autoimmune thyroid diseases such as Graves disease or Hashimoto's thyroiditis, while intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) is known as a substance expressed at the site of autoimmune reaction in relation with lymphocyte infiltration. The serum TBII activity is used as an index of the disease course and prognosis of Graves disease treated with antithyroid drugs, propylthiouracil or methimazole. The aim of this study is to understand the change of serum ICAM-1 level according to the change of the degree of autoimmunity and clinical course of Graves disease. Methods: In order to study the change of soluble ICAM-1 and relationship to the immune mechanism of Graves' disease, we measured serum levels of TBII and ICAM-1 in patients(n 35) with Graves disease before and after treatment with antithyroid drugs and in relapsed patients using a highly sensitive ELISA method. Results: The serum levels of TBII and ICAM-1 were markedly elevated in patients with Graves disease before treatment than normal controls and there were good correlation between TBII and ICAM-1 level. In patients with normalized TBII levels after 22 months antithyroid drug treatment, the ICAM-1 levels became normal but in the patients with high serum TBII level showed high serum level of ICAM-1 even with clinical remission with same treatment. The serum levels of TBII and ICAM-1 in relapsed patients were elevated as those of patients before treatment. Conclusion: With the above results, we can conclude that not only the TBII level but seru ICAM-1 level also reflect the degree of autoimmune activity of Graves disease and may be used as an index of the disease course and prognosis of Graves disease treated with antithyroid drugs(J Kor Soc Endocrinol 11:293-301, 1996).

We reviewed the 220 cases of diabetics, and the following results were obtained. 1) Incidence of diabetic retinopathy among 220 cases of diabetics is 28 %. Incidence of background retinopathy, and proliferative retinopathy are respectively 16 % and 12 %. 2) Retinopathy prevalence occured most frequently among 40 - 49 age group (33%). 3) Retinopathy prevalence occured most frequently with duration of the disease more than 10 years(38%). 4) The most common finding was hemorrhage in background retinopathy, proliferative retinopathy was vitreal hemorrhage. 5) An analysis of the risk factor showed durations of the retinopathy group was higher than that of the normal retinal finding group (p < 0.05). These results suggest that the risk factors for diabetic retinopathy were the duration of the diabetics.
