As a dynamic road profiling device, Accelerometer Established Inertial Profiling Reference (AEIPR) method has cost effectiveness and high reliability for road profiling. This paper describes at first the improved double integration algorithm that is tile major problem to be solved in the AEIPR method. Road profiling software 'Road Profiler' is developed on the basis of tile improved double integration algorithm. 'Road Profiler' software consists of 3 modules of data acquisition, signal processing and evaluation. Road profiling tests are performed on tile special test tracks and some public roads. The test results measured using AEIPR method are shown and evaluated.

For evaluating durability of a vehicle, spindle load analysis is important consideration. To provide early predictions of vehicle durability performance before the construction of prototype vehicles, virtual proving ground(VPG) approach is widely applied to the vehicle durability engineering. This paper describes the measuring and generation method of 3-dimensional virtual durability test road profile for input data of the VPG simulation. Verification method between the result of simulation and real experiment will be also described, and the modeling and simulation requirements to provide accurate simulation will be presented.
언더피닝 공법을 이용한 구조물 침하에 대한 시공 단계 해석

본 연구에서는 건설공사에 적용된 언더피닝공법의 수치해석 결과와 시공 중 완료후의 계측 값을 비교하여 불확실성을 줄일 수 있는 해석모델링 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 수치해석을 이용하여 구조물의 거동을 정확하게 예측하기 위해서는 다양한 조건을 복합적으로 고려해야 하며, 복합적으로 고려하였다 하더라도 예측된 결과에는 상당한 불확실성이 내포되어 있으므로 실제 공사에서는 계측을 통한 안정성 확보가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 굴착 인접 구조물인 지하차도의 침하량뿐만 아니라 본 구조물인 강관에서도 많은 침하량이 발생하는 것을 수치해석을 통해서 분석하였다. 지하차도 침하량의 현장계측 결과를 통해서 지하차도가 매단 굴착 시 단계적으로 침하가 발생하며 대칭 굴착으로 진행된 단계보다 비대칭 굴착으로 진행된 단계에서 침하량이 더 크게 발생하는 경향이 나타났다. 수치해석 시 주요 고려사항으로는 현장의 시공순서, 기존 시설물의 방향성, 요소의 모델링 방법, 물성치의 적용이며, 이들 값에 따라 수치해석 결과 값에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 확인하였다. This paper aims to present accurately analytical modeling method for underpinning using uncertainty reduction, obtained from comparison between numerical analysis and Site measuring data during construction and service stages. Combination of various conditions should be considered for using numerical analysis to predict the behavior of the structure accurately, even though complexly considered the conditions, real construction should be secured the stability by applying the actual instrument measurement data because predicted results are including the considerable uncertainty. In order to secure the stability during construction, the real time instrument measurements together with numerical analysis results performed before construction state are complementary used actively. From the results of this study, the significant settlements are occurred not only in underpass structure of adjacent excavation area but also in the permanent steel pipe structures were analyzed. From the site measurement results of underpass settlement, the settlements are occurred in every stages of excavation, furthermore observed tendency is asymmetrical excavation patterns are settled more than symmetrical excavation patterns. The essential consideration points for numerical analysis are construction sequence, the direction of the existing facilities, the methods of elements modeling, the applied factors for nature of material and different results would be occurred depending upon inputting the above factors.
승용차용 현가시스템의 동하중 저감을 위한 다중 목적함수 최적설계

In this study, a virtual simulation is conducted using the Virtual Proving Ground. The roads used in the simulation are Belgian roads and single lane roads. These two particular roads are simulated using the VPG technique. Through the simulation, the dynamic load on each component is estimated, and means by which the estimated dynamic load can be decreased is determined. At the time of optimum designing such as this, many objective functions may exist, therefore, multi objective function technique is used for the optimum design. Also, by evaluating the control stability of the model with optimum design and the existing model, the control stability performance of the optimum design model was verified.
구조 음향 상반 원리를 이용한 승용차 차체 소음 민감도 측정 및 실내 소음 개선

This paper presents a experimental method for reduction of interior noise in compartment of passenger car. Though results in Wide-Open Throttle valve(WOT), the studied vehicle has a Interior noise problem at rear passenger seats. In order to identify the Noise transfer path of interior noise, Noise transfer function(NTF) of panels is fulfilled. The NTF obtained by experiment using Vibro-acoustic reciprocity. Using this methods, it has been founded that rear part of the roof and rear window shield glass of the test car were a noise source for the Interior noise. Based on these results, we verified that it is identical with Panel contribution analysis(PCA).

In order to improve the front crush performance for an Aluminum Space Frame Vehicle, this study presents a systematic optimal design process to maximize the crush energy absorption capacity of side-members. Seven design variables are selected to represent cross sectionshape, thickness and bead interval. Then, DOE, RSM and numerical optimization techniques are sequentially used to approximate and optimize crush performance. Finally, the proposed new design can improve 103.9% of the internal energy and reduce 13.9% of the maximum displacement.<br/>

The research on the electric bus(E-Bus) with replaceable battery is introduced in this study. Currently, the spread of electric vehicle(EV) is moving rather slowly than expected due to various reasons. One of the major stumbling block is a lack of charging infrastructure to support the easy recharging of the battery. In an effort to promote the wider use of EV for greener environment, many legislative efforts are being conducted. Recently, EV application to public transportation attracts major attention since the bus routes are known for each course and therefore, the electric powertrain and the energy storage system(ESS) for EV can be optimized to its maximum efficiency. However, even under this favorable condition of the public transportation, a major deficiency of EV such as a long recharging time still exists. In order to address this problem, an E-Bus with a replaceable battery system is being studied along with a battery change infrastructure. Number of scenarios have been evaluated and one of the recommended system is being discussed in the paper. An E-Bus with a quick battery change module, named as Quick Top Pick-up(QTP) is converted from an existing compressed natural gas (CNG) bus. The QTP module for the battery replacement is mounted on top of the roof panel replacing the CNG tank which is no longer in use. This paper reports the preliminary results from the conceptual design stage of the E-Bus concept with a replaceable battery system, named as QTP E-Bus, along with the battery change infrastructure, named as Quick Changing Machine (QCM). Future direction and works for the implementation of the QTP E-Bus is also presented.
