제품디자인전공 학과의 소재교육 현황분석을 통한 소재교육 특성 및 방법제안

감성디자인의 등장으로 제품 디자이너들에게 소재의 이해와 활용을 통한 문제해결 능력이 요구되고 있다. 특히 다른 전공에 비해 다양한 소재를 다뤄야 하는 제품디자인 분야의 소재교육은 더욱 필요하다. 이에 교육기관에서는 소재 활용능력 강화를 위한 체계적인 소재교육이 실시되어야 하나, 제품디자인 분야의 소재교육에 관련된 연구는 미진한 상황이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제품디자인관련 국내 대학의 소재교육의 현황을 살펴보고, 소재교육의 특성과 학습단계를 도출한 후 소재교육의 특성별 목표를 설정하여, 이를 실행할 수 있는 소재교육 학습 방안을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 소재교육 학습단계를 도출하기 위해 제품디자인 관련 소재교육을 실시하고 있는 대학의 소재교육 실시학년, 실시 교과명, 교과운영 목표 등의 현황을 분석한 결과 3개의 소재교육 학습단계별 소재교육요소를 추출하였고, 전문가집단을 통해 동질성 분석을 실시하여 소재교육 학습단계 별소재교육 특성요소를 도출할 수 있었다. 도출된 소재교육의 3단계 학습과정으로 특성별 교육목표를 설정하고 그 실행방안을 사례 중심의 교육방법으로 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 체계적인 소재교육을 실시하여 소재에 대한 이해가 높은 전문가를 양성하는데 활용되어지길 기대한다. The emergence of emotional design requires the product designers to have competence to solve problems through understanding and utilizing materials. Hence the systematic material education is encouraged to be conducted to strengthen the ability to utilize materials. However, research on material education in the field of product design has been insufficient even though it needs to deal with various materials compared to other fields. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current state of material education in domestic universities related to product design, to establish characteristics of material education, to set up educational goals according to each characteristic established, and to suggest material education methods to be used to achieve those goals. In order to derive the procedure of the material education, the current status of the universities where the material education for product design is taught is analyzed. The components taken into account are such as the year of receiving material education, the title of subject, and the goal of the subject. As a result, the components of material education of three different material education procedure is extracted and the characteristic components of the material education of each (material education) procedure is derived by the homogeneity analysis conducted by the expert group. The results of this study are intended for experts in this field to gain better understanding of materials.

수면장애를 위한 LED 수면보조등 개발 ; Selling point와 Functional needs 분석을 중심으로

산업의 발전으로 인해 자연빛에 의존하던 삶의 중심에서 인공빛의 발전을 통해 인간의 삶은 산업활동을 연장할 수 있도록 변화해왔다. 다양한 산업의 등장으로 시간의 구애를 받지 않는 직업군들이 등장하며 다양한 수면장애를 유발하고 이에 수면용품 시장이 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 그러나 수면 장애 경험자를 대상으로 한 수면용품에 대한 개발 및 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수면장애 경험자를 대상으로 구매요인 및 수면보조등 사용시 필수기능을 파악하여 제품개발에 적용하기 위한 연구를 진행하였다. 먼저 LED 수면보조등 구입시 고려해야 될 요소(Selling point) 6가지와 개발시 고려해야 할 필수기능(Functional needs) 9가지 요소를 도출 한 후 의료계 종사자 중 수면장애 경험자들을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였다. 그 결과 기능과 디자인, 가격이 소비자의 구매결정에 영향을 미칠 수 있으며, 사운드시스템과 밝기조절이 가능한 디밍(dimming)기능 그리고 시간 및 알람기능을 필수기능 요소로 파악할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구를 통해 불필요한 기능의 개발투자비용과 소비자가 지불하는 비용을 줄이는 방법으로 제품을 개발함으로써 추후 많은 제품개발에 효율적인 방법으로 활용되어지길 기대한다. Human life has been changed to extend industrial activity through growth of artificial light depending of natural light by industrialization. By the emergence of various industries, there have been growing number of jobs that have flexible working hours and the market for sleeping goods is rapidly has been growing. However, studies or developments for people having sleep disorder are not sufficient. So this study found out the purchasing factors and essential functions while using sleeping lights from people with sleep disorder and conducted a research to apply the result to product development. First of all, after deducing 6 selling points to consider when purchasing LED sleeping lights and 9 functional needs to consider when developing them, a survey was conducted with those who are working in the medical circle with the experience of sleep disorder. The result showed that function, design, and price were factors that can affect consumers’ decision to purchase and sound system, dimming function that can control brightness, timer, and alarm were found to be essential elements. Based on the result of analysis, LED sleeping light for sleep disorder was developed including sound system with bluetooth, light dimming sensor, clock with function of alarm. Through this study, it is expected that products will be developed through a way to reduce development and investment cost and consumers’ expense for unnecessary functions, and that the process will be applied to the development of other products as an effective way.

제품디자인 소재교육을 위한 MMC(Material Matching Cube) 및 MMS(Material Matching System) 개발

최근 제품디자인을 개발하는데 소재를 적용하는 프로세스를 포함하고 있는 기업이 늘어가는 추세이다. 산업의 추세를 반영하며 디자이너를 양성하는 교육기관에서 디자인 소재의 교육 및 학습은 매우 중요하다. 특히 세분화된 제품디자인 영역에서는 활용되는 소재가 다양하여 학습자가 소재영역을 선정하는 개인화된 소재교육 방법 및 도구(tool)가 부재한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제품디자인에 있어 소재의 중요성 및 역할을 제시하고, 국내·외 대학의 소재교육의 특화된 사례와 기존 의 툴의 한계점을 고찰한 후 소재 교육 특성을 파악하여 소재교육 도구의 적용방법을 제시하였다. 그 결과로 촉감을 통해 직관적 학습할 수 있는 샘플과 다양한 컨셉 조합을 구현하여 창의적인 학습을 수행할 수 있는 큐브의 형태, 학습의 경험을 통해 반복과 상호작용을 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발에 적용할 수 있었다. 소재학습을 위한 도구로서 소재를 직접 만져보며 컨셉에 적합한 조합을 도출 할 수 있어 제품개발 시 소재선택의 시간을 단축시켜주며, 디자이너의 상황에 따라 소재의 영역을 선택 또는 변경 할 수 있는 개인화가 가능한 소재교육 도구(MMC)와 그 활용 시스템(MMS)을 개발하였다. 추후 소재를 교육하거나 학습하는데 있어 컨셉 중심의 발산적 아이디어를 도출하여 소재를 중심으로 창의적이고 감성적인 제품디자인을 구현하는데 효과적으로 활용되기를 기대한다. Recently, a growing number of companies are factoring in material application processes when developing product design. For an educational institution, it is vitally important to educate and learn about the design materials since the purpose of the institution is to educate designers while reflecting industry trends. In particular, there are a variety of materials being used in the specialized product design area, resulting in a lack of personalized material training methods and tools. In the light of such circumstances, the purpose of this study is to emphasize the importance and role of materials in product design, to examine the specialized cases of materials education at domestic and foreign universities and to examine the limitations of existing tools, and respectively present the implementation method of material education tools. As a result, the realization of samples for intuitional learning through touching and various combinations of concepts was made possible, thereby making it possible for a system that can repeat and interact through learning experiences and the form of cube for exercising creative learning to be applied in development. Also, MMC, the material educational tool which makes it possible to derive a suitable combination for the concept by directly touching the material, shortening the time for selecting the material when developing the product, and allowing the designer to select or change the area of the material according to his or her situation, and its utilization system(MMS) has been developed. It is expected to be used effectively in the realization of creative and emotional product design centered on material by deriving concept-oriented divergent ideas for teaching or learning materials.

미용학원의 교육 서비스품질이 진로포부와 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of beauty education service quality of beauty school on career preparation behavior and career aspiration of beauty school students. The results of this study are as follows. First, the general characteristics of the survey subjects were as follows: female students were more than male students (85.4%), the ages were the teenagers (62.4%), the monthly average income was less than 1 million won (82.0%), The most subjects were hair, followed by skin, makeup, and nail. Second, it was found that the effect of beauty education service quality on career aspiration had a significant positive effect. Third, the effect of beauty education service quality on career preparation behavior was significant. The purpose of this study is to provide quality education services and marketing materials.

박영란의 <아라리 아라리오> 분석 연구

박영란은 한국의 대표적인 여성 작곡가 중 한명이다. 그는 화성적 색깔의 변화를 부각시킨 인상주의 음악과 리듬적 요소를 강조하는 20세기 작곡가들에게 영향을 받았다. 특히, 민족주의 음악 작곡가들에게 받은 영향으로 기존의 현대 음악과는 다른 자신만의 어법을 가지고 있다. 본 연구는 서양의 작곡기법과 한국적 전통을 결합한 그의 새로운 음악세계를 살펴보기 위해 정선아리랑의 국악 장단과 선율을 콜라보하여 작곡한 ‘아라리 아라리오’를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서양의 대표 악기인 피아노와 사물놀이를 사용하여 서양 악기와 국악기의 혼합형 음향을 만들었다. 둘째, 삼채, 양산도, 세마치, 자진모리, 휘모리장단 등 다양한 한국의 장단을 원형 혹은 변형장단으로 재구성하여 작품 안에 담고 있다. 셋째, 우리 민요의 선율에 서양음악의 음악어법인 다양한 변박, 악상 등을 사용하여 원형의 민요선율보다 더욱 극적인 효과를 만들었다. 넷째, 작품의 내면에 우리 음악의 특징인 첫 음을 강하게 표현하고 있어 우리 음악만이 가지고 있는 특성을 간직하고 있었다. 이는 모두 세계인들에게 우리 음악의 특징과 우월성을 보이려고 시도한 그만의 독특한 어법이었다. 마지막으로 이런 분석을 넘어 이 작품에 대한 연주 경험을 토대로 서양음악과 우리 음악이 콜라보 된 작품을 연주할 때 필요한 연주기법을 제언하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 한국 음악의 세계화를 위한 디딤돌이 되기를 기대해본다. Park Yongnan is one of Korea’s leading female composers who was influenced both by Impressionistic music that made harmonic color-change prominent, and by 20th-cenutry composers who emphasized rhythmic elements. Based on the influences from Korean nationalistic composers, she creates her own musical language different from that of other contemporary music. This study analyzed ‘Arari Arario’ which was composed by combining Jeongseon Arirang’s Gugak rhythm and its melody to examine her unique world of music that combines both western composition techniques and Korean traditional composition techniques. The results of this study are as follows. First, a mixture of sound was created through a western instrument of a piano and traditional Korean instruments of Samulnori. Second, various Korean rhythms, such as Samchae, Yangsando, Semachi, Jajinmori were reconstructed into circular or modified rhythms in this piece. Third, Western musical techniques such as various rhythms, dynamics, and harmonic colors were applied in the traditional Korean melody to create more dramatic effects than the original melody. Fourth, the first sound in inner of ‘Arari Arario’ was highly represented, which is a unique characteristics only traditional Korean music retains. Implementing such unique musical techniques and languages were Park’s attempts to showcase all people around the world the characteristics and superiority of the traditional Korean music. Along with the findings as above, this paper also shares some of the performing techniques necessary in performing pieces that combine the Western music and the traditional Korean music based on the experience of performing this piece. Lastly, it is to be hoped that this study will serve as a steppingstone for the globalization of Korean music.
