Plain Radiography of the Hip: A Review of Radiographic Techniques and Image Features

Plain radiographic examination is a fundamental approach to the diagnosis and treatment decision-making of the hip. A thorough understanding of standard radiographic techniques, radiographic anatomy, and disease patterns affecting the hip can be helpful in improving diagnostic accuracy. This article reviews the standard protocols used to obtain radiographic projections of the hip and addresses specific signs and various radiographic measurements used to adequately and reliably recognize structural diseases of the hip.

Second-Generation Metal-on-Metal Total Hip Arthroplasty

Purpose: To report the short-term results of second-generation metal-on-metal total hip arthroplasty (THA). Materials and Methods: One hundred and sixty-five patients (169 hips) were followed for more than 2 years after primary THA using a modern metal-on-metal bearing conducted between April 2000 and March 2002. All patients were examined clinically and radiographically. Results: The average Harris hip score improved from 53.9 points preoperatively to 94.2 points at the time of the last follow-up. All prostheses demonstrated radiographic evidence of bone ingrowth. Nine patients (10 hips) had an osteolytic lesion localized at the greater trochanter. Patients with osteolysis had a significantly higher rate of positive skin-patch tests for cobalt than controls (p=0.031). Of these, two hips underwent revision operation due to recurrent dislocation and imminent fracture through the greater trochanter, respectively. There was no evidence of metal wear on the retrieved bearing surfaces, but microscopic analysis of periprosthetic tissues revealed abnormal histological findings consistent with delayed-type hypersensitivity. Conclusion: Early results of THA using the current metal-on-metal bearing design were encouraging in most of the patients. However, this implant bearing should be avoided in patients with a history of allergic reaction to metals. 목 적: 제 2세대 금속-금속 관절면을 이용한 고관절 전치환술의 단기 추시 결과를 보고하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 2000년 4월부터 2002년 3월 사이에 현대적 금속-금속 관절면을 이용한 일차성 고관절 전치환술을 시행 받은 환자 중 2년 이상 추시가 가능하였던 165명 169예의 고관절을 대상으로 하였다. 모든 환자에서 임상적 및 방사선적 평가를 시행하였다. 결 과: Harris점수는 수술 전 평균 53.9점에서 최종 추시 평균 94.2점으로 향상되었다. 모든 삽입물에서 골침습성 고정을 확인할 수 있었다. 9명(10예)의 환자에서 대퇴골 대전자부에 국한된 골용해 소견을 보였다. 골용해 소견이 있는 환자들은 대조군에 비해서 코발트에 대한 피부 패치 검사 양성 반응률이 높게 나타났다(p=0.031). 2명의 환자에서 각각 재발성 탈구와 대전자부 병적 골절의 위험성 때문에 재수술을 시행하였다. 회수된 삽입물들에 관절면의 마모소견은 없었으나, 삽입물 주위 조직에 대한 현미경 검사에서 지연형 과민반응에 해당되는 조직 소견이 관찰되었다. 결 론: 현대적 금속-금속 관절 디자인을 이용한 고관절 전치환술의 단기 추시 결과는 대부분의 환자에서 고무적이었으나, 금속에 대한 알레르기 반응의 과거력이 있는 환자들에게는 삽입을 피해야 할 것으로 사료된다.

대학생의 창업 교육 및 창업 동아리 활동이 창업 의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

대학의 창업교육은 개인에게 창업동기를 부여하고 교육생의 창업역량을 강화하여 창업성공에 영향을 미친다. 본 연구는 청년창업인재양성의 핵심수단인 창업교육과 창업동아리의 역할과 의미에 연구의 초점을 두고 있다. 대학 및 대학원생을 대상으로 이들의 창업인식에 대한 창업교육과 창업동아리의 역할을 살펴본다. 표본은 경남지역에 거주하는 대학생과 대학원생을 대상으로 한다. 경남지역은 중소기업청이 시행하는 창업대학원 사업이 2005년부터 진주시에서 시행되고 있다. 2011년부터는 창업선도대학사업이 진주시에서 이루어지면서 서부경남은 수도권 이외의 지역 중에서 창업교육 인프라를 갖춘 대표 지역으로 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 취업시장에서 상대적인 우위를 가진 수도권 지역을 제외한 취업에 어려움을 호소하는 지역에서의 창업교육과 창업동아리 활동이 창업계획수립과 가지는 관련성을 살펴본다는 의미를 가진다. 본 연구는 제2장에서 대학생 창업교육과 동아리의 의미와 역할을 논의하며, 분석결과를 제시하며, 창업교육과 동아리의 문제점과 활성화 방안을 살펴본다. 끝으로 결론 및 연구의 한계를 제시한다.

교류전기장이 인가된 폴리에틸렌으로 피복된 기울어진 전선을 통해 하향으로 전파하는 화염에 대한 실험적 연구

An experimental study on downwardly spreading flame over slanted electrical wire, which is insulated byPolyethylene (PE), was conducted with applied AC electric fields. The result showed that the flame spreadrate decreased initially with increase in inclination angle of wire and then became nearly constant. The flameshape was modified significantly with applied AC electric field due to the effect of ionic wind. Such a variationin flame spread rate could be explained by a thermal balance mechanism, depending on flame shape andslanted direction of flame. Extinction of the spreading flame was not related to angle of inclination, and wasdescribed well by a functional dependency upon the frequency and voltage at extinction.

스포츠 제품리뷰 유튜브 콘텐츠 정보특성이 정보만족도 및 지속적사용의도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors of information characteristics of sports product review YouTube contents perceived by consumers, to identify how they affect information satisfaction and continuous use intention, and to confirm the process in which sports product review YouTube contents are accepted by consumers. It aims to provide basic data for effective marketing strategy establishment to creators who produce sports product review contents. The subjects of the study were 321 people who had experience of watching sports product review YouTube content, and the results of the study were as follows. First, it was found that all sub-factors of YouTube sports product review content information characteristics had a significant effect on information satisfaction. Second, it was found that interactivity, usefulness, and reliability, which are sub-factors of information characteristics of YouTube sports product review contents, have a significant effect on the intention to continue using, and informationality does not have a significant effect. 본 연구의 목적은 소비자들이 지각하는 스포츠 제품리뷰 유튜브 콘텐츠의 정보특성 요인들을 파악하여 정보만족도, 지속적사용의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 규명하고, 스포츠 제품리뷰 유튜브 콘텐츠가 소비자에게 수용되는 과정을 확인하여 스포츠 제품리뷰 콘텐츠를 제작하는 크리에이터에게 효과적인 마케팅 전략 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구대상은 스포츠 제품 리뷰 유튜브 콘텐츠를 시청한 경험이 있는 321명을 대상으로 선정하였으며, 도출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유튜브 스포츠 제품 리뷰 콘텐츠 정보특성의 모든 하위요인은 정보만족에 유의한 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유튜브 스포츠 제품 리뷰 콘텐츠 정보특성의 하위요인인 상호작용성, 유용성, 신뢰성은 지속적사용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 정보성은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

원위 대퇴골, 근위 경골 및 원위 경골과 같은 하지 관절 주위에 발생한 복합 골절의 경우에는 대부분 심한 연부조직 손상을 동반하기 때문에 치료가 매우 어려우며 연부조직이 충분히 정상화되기 전에 관혈적 정복 및 내고정술을 시행하는 경우에는 심부 감염이나 창상 관련 합병증의 발생률이 높아져 불량한 임상 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 최근에는 이와 같은 복합 골절의 치료에 있어서 일시적 외고정기기 장착술을 시행하고 연부조직이 회복된 이후에 관혈적 또는 최소침습적 정복 및 금속판 내고정술을 시행하는 단계적 수술법이 안전하고 효과적인 방법으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 일시적 외고정기기 장착술로 인하여 발생할 수 있는 핀 주위 감염이나 금속판 내고정술 후 심부 감염의 발생 위험성도 최근에 제시된 몇 가지 중요한 원칙들을 준수하면 그 발생률을 현저히 감소시킬 수 있겠다.
