        MQTT 기반 IoT 환경에서의 PCA와 LightGBM을 이용한 공격 탐지 및 분류 방안

        Recently, machine learning-based cyber attack detection and classification research has been actively conducted, achieving a high level of detection accuracy. However, low-spec IoT devices and large-scale network traffic make it difficult to apply machine learning-based detection models in IoT environment. Therefore, In this paper, we propose an efficient IoT attack detection and classification method through PCA(Principal Component Analysis) and LightGBM(Light Gradient Boosting Model) using datasets collected in a MQTT(Message Queuing Telementry Transport) IoT protocol environment that is also used in the defense field. As a result of the experiment, even though the original dataset was reduced to about 15%, the performance was almost similar to that of the original. It also showed the best performance in comparative evaluation with the four dimensional reduction techniques selected in this paper. 최근 머신러닝 기반의 사이버 공격 탐지 및 분류 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있으며, 높은 수준의 탐지 정확도를 달성하고 있다. 그러나 저 사양 IoT 기기, 대규모의 네트워크 트래픽 등은 IoT 환경에서 머신러닝 기반의 탐지모델 적용을 어렵게 하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국방분야에서도 활용되고 있는 MQTT(Message Queuing Telementry Transport) IoT 프로토콜 환경에서 수집된 데이터세트를 대상으로, 차원축소 기법인 PCA(Principal Component Analysis)와 LightGBM(Light Gradient Boosting Model)을 이용하여 IoT 공격을 효울적으로 탐지 및 분류하는 방안을 제안하였다. 실험을 통해 제안하는 분류모델의 성능을 확인한 결과 원본 데이터세트를 약 15%로 축소하였음에도 원본 전체를 모두 사용한 모델과 거의 유사한 성능을 나타 냈으며, 본 논문에서 선정한 4가지 차원축소기법과의 비교 평가에서도 가장 우수한 성능을 나타냈다.

        Effect of The Impeller Discharge Angle on the Performance of a Spurt Vacuum Pump

        The spurt vacuum pump is widely used to transfer sludge and slurry, and to control flow rate in a variety of processing fields, such as the oil, chemical, and fiber industries. The efficiency of the pump depends on the design parameters of the impeller, such as the number of blades, and the blade angle. In this study, the effect of the configuration of the impeller discharge angle of a spurt vacuum pump, which influences total head, shaft power, and efficiency, was numerically investigated using the commercial code, ANSYS CFX ver. 16.1. In addition, the performance of the pump was evaluated on the basis of the correlations between the total head, pump efficiency, and pressure distribution.

        The U.S. has shifted its focus on diplomacy and security from the Middle Asia to the Asia-Pacific region since 9/11. And in the future, the United States said it would make the most of economic and security resources in this region. The United States is making a national effort to prepare for China’s rise in Asia and protect its own interests. However, China only criticizes the U.S. strategy and does not clearly express its response strategy or policy so, It is hard to know exactly what China is thinking. Currently, China has grown nearly as big as the United States in the economy and is no longer sticking to reclusive policy, but it still maintains the trend as far as the military sector. While there are various ways to understand this difficult Chinese military strategy, this study shows how Mao Zedong strategic thinking in China has influenced and how it will affect China’s defense diplomacy. In conclusion, Influenced by Mao’s strategy ideas, China will aggressively resolve the various security situations in the Asia-Pacific region This will eventually have a negative impact on South Korea, which has been involved in sensitive security issues with China, including the North’s nuclear problem.

        Along with economic progress and the development of medical skills, lots of large modern hospital buildings have been built high. Hospital buildings heavily depend upon machinery and electrical equipments to create comfortable indoor environments just like with other modern buildings. This necessarily has increased the running cost as well as the initial cost because of more energy use. So the economy of energy has become a key issue in the construction of hospitals. The investigation of economy of energy can be performed in terms of architectue and facilities or a passive and an active method. Yet this division is impossible since they have already been woven into one, the design of the building. In other words, the whole issue has to be taken into consideration as a total system not just as any one aspect. Some modern hospitals abroad have been constructed to economize in energy very effectively while not lowering the quality of medical service and that of the indoor environment in the construction fo hospitals. This thesis, through a discussion of such cases, attempts a suggestion on how best we can utilize energy and thereby cut down the expense in hospitals by paying special attention to the architectural planning as well as an efficient management of facilities.

        고대 로마와 중세 스위스 군사체계의 도전과 응전

        Arnold J. Toynbee mentioned in his book, 『A study of History』that Civilization had repeated the circulations of birth, growth and decline. He thought that the important factors of growth and decline were the challenge. And the future of nations would be determined by how they response to these challenges. If his assumption which history repeats itself according to the circulation above mentioned were right then it would be possible for these suggestion to be able to apply to countries. So I hope to examine whether the Toinbee’s suggestion was valid in the military area. Challenges of military field are divided into two factors. These are the internal challenges such as revolt, social instability and any trial of regime change and external ones caused by enemy actions. How to respond internal and external challenges attack are the essential things to maintain and secure the nation. I studied and developed the logic by showing the examples of ancient Roman empire and Swiss of the middle-ages whose military environments and conscription were very similar to Korea. I also analyzed what would the examples of the two countries give us valuable lessons on the bases of challenges and responses of the military systems, and how would be our country in the future.

        일정축력과 반복 수평력을 받는 콘크리트충전 각형강관 기둥의 변형성능 평가

        콘크리트충전 강관구조는 합성효과에 의해 강관과 콘크리트의 단점을 상호보완하여 역학적으로 우수한 성능을 발휘할 수 있다. 그래서, 최근에는 초고층구조물시스템의 하나로 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 일정축력과 반복 수평력을 받는 콘크리트 충전 각형강관기둥의 내력 및 변형성능을 평가하는 것이다. 이 실험의 변수로는 강관의 폭 두께비, 축력비, 콘크리트 강도, 하중가력방법과 콘크리트의 충전유무로 정하여 총 16개의 실험체를 제작하여 실험하였다. 실험결과로부터 실험체의 최대내력, 초기강성 및 변형성능에 대해 검토하였다. Concrete Filled steel Tube(CFT) Column has an excellent structural capacities in accordance with an interaction effect between the steel tube and concrete. Recently, CFT structure has been focussed on a structural system for a high-rise buildings. The purpose of this study is to evaluate a strength and deformation capacity of CFT square columns subjected to constant axial and cyclic lateral load. The test parameters are diameters to thickness ratio of steel tube, axial load ratios, concrete strengths, load applying types and whether or not filled concrete. Total sixteen specimens are fabricated to clarify the energy absorbtion capacity of CFT columns. Experimental results are summarized for maximum strength, initial stiffness and deformation capacity.
