본 연구는 현대 한국인의 해부학적 및 체질인류학적 특징을 규명하고, 주변민족과 비교할 수 있는 기본자료를 제공하기 위하여 실시하였다. 18세에서 30세 미만의 남녀 대학생 726명 (남자 340명, 여자 386명, 평균나이 21세)을 대상으로 8개 항목을 실측하고 15개 항목을 사진계측 하였으며, 결과를 미국백인, 흑인, 중국인 및 일본인과 비교하여 다음과 같은 청년기 한국인 얼굴의 특성을 알 수 있었다. 청년기 한국인의 얼굴에서는 높은 머리, 좁고 긴 얼굴, 넓은 안쪽눈구석사이거리, 높이는 낮고 넓은 아래턱과 낮은 아래얼굴이 특징으로 나타났다. We carried out this study to examine the anatomical or anthropological characteristics of Koreans and to produce baseline data for comparison with other peoples. The subjects of this study were 726 college students (340 males, 386 females) with age ranging from 18 to 30 years old (in 21 years old, average). 8 craniometric items and 15 photogrammetric items were measured following Martin's method. The face of Korean youths, in this study, was characterized by high auricular head height, narrow and long face, wide entocanthione breadth, low and wide mandible and short lower face.
횡단류에 분사되는 액체제트의 분무특성에 대한 수치적 연구

The spray characteristics of liquid jet in cross flow are numerically studied. Numerical analysis was carried out using KIVA code, which was modified to be suitable for simulating liquid jet ejected into cross flow. Wave model and Kelvin-Helmholtz(KH)/Rayleigh-Taylor(RT) hybrid model were used for the purpose of analyzing liquid column, ligament, and the breakup of droplet. Numerical results were compared with experimental data in order to verify the reliability of the physical model. Liquid jet penetration length, volume flux, droplet velocity profile and SMD were obtained. Penetration length increases as flow velocity decreases and injection velocity increases. From the bottom wall, the SMD increases as vertical distance increases.

??횡단류에 분사되는 액체 제트의 분무 및 연소 특성에 대한 수치적 연구를 수행하였다. 수치 계산을 위해 3차원의 분무 및 화학반응 유동 해석에 유용한 KIVA 코드를 횡단류에서의 분무 해석에 적합하도록 수정하여 사용하였다. 액주의 분열과 리거먼트 및 액적의 분열 현상을 해석하기 위하여 wave 모델과 KH-RT hybrid 모델이 사용되었다. 침투길이는 유입공기의 속도가 감소하거나 분사속도가 증가함에 따라 증가하였다. 유입공기의 속도가 증가할수록 계산결과의 오차가 크게 발생함을 알 수 있었다. 연소 특성에 대한 수치해석으로 연소실 내부의 화염전파 형상과 국부지역에서의 온도및 공해 배출량에 대한 결과를 얻었다. Numerical analysis was carried out using KIVA code, which may be used to generate numerical solutions to spray and chemical reactive fluid problem in three space dimensions and modified to be suitable for simulating liquid jet ejected into the cross flow. Wave model and Kelvin-Helmholtz(KH) /Rayleigh-Taylor(RT) hybrid model were used for the purpose of analyzing liquid column, ligament, and the breakup of droplet. Penetration length increases as flow velocity decreases and injection velocity increases. Numerical error increases as inflow velocity increases. The results of flame propagation contour in combustion chamber and local temperature distribution, combustion emissions were obtained.

The useful method for determining parameters of weighting functions used to design the H∞ current controller for attenuating the current ripple due to saliencies which SPMSM(Surface Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) also incorporates is described. To analyze the effect, the current ripple due to the structural and the saturation saliencies, the SPMSM model with nonlinear inductance function depending on the two independent variables, rotor position and stator current is simulated. After analysis, parameters of the weighting functions for H∞ current controller is selected to satisfy the robust stability, robust performance and specific performance in time and frequency domain by using the PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm in the linear SPMSM model. Especially, the robust performance is proved that the selected weighting functions play a role in reducing the current ripple caused by the saliencies of SPMSM at the desired frequency range by the simple experiment.

Generally speaking, art is the activity that makes human mind-thinking or idea-sensible. The modern human mind transcends nature. The characteristics of modern mind is ``infinity`` and ``freedom``. Here breaks out the dilemma of modern art: How can a work of art represent the infinity? Fr. Schlegel finds his way to Irony. He thinks it ``selfcreation, self-destruction, self-limiting``. It works ``endless Negation``. Through the Negation, he hopes, the gap between the infiniteness (of thinking) and the finiteness (of art) constantly narrows. But Hegel views the matter differently. He criticizes Schlegel`s Irony seriously. His criticism is doing in two ways. On the one hand, he hypercriticizes the works of the Ironists. They ignore the artistic maturity, he thinks, because of the ``arbitrariness`` of Irony. The arbitrariness makes their works unworthy. Due to their arbitrariness, they are characterized by lack of seriousness, the emptiness and a yearning for to fill it, self-destruction. On the other, in his times, he asserts, art is no longer valid to express the mind of the times(Zeitgeist) properly. This essay attemps to compare Fr. Schlegel`s understanding of Irony to Hegel`s. With this comparison, I expect to show values and limitations that Irony has.
애엽(艾葉) 및 구진(灸津) 약침(藥鍼)이 일과성(一過性) 전뇌(前腦) 허혈(虛血) 손상(損傷)에 미치는 효과(效果)

Objectives : Acupuncture and herbal medicine have been used to prevent and treat the cerebrovascular accident, such as a stroke, and many studies of acupuncture and moxibustion concerning to the stroke have been undertaken in the human and various animals. Recently, the new therapeutic tool, that is herbal acupuncture, has been developed since the 1950' and applied to various diseases including the cerebrovascular accident. The main characteristics of herbal acupuncture are a combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine. It was not well known the therapeutic effect and the mechanism of herbal acupuncture on transient forebrain ischemic injury, although it has been used frequently in clinics. Methods : In this study, effects of folium Artemisiae Argyi and moxa tar' herbal acupuncture on the $GV_{20}$, named Baek-Hue, on neuroprotection after the transient forebrain ischemia were investigated in Sprague-Dawely rats. Expressions of cFos, FosB and BDNF protein in the hippocampus and cortex were observed at 2 hrs and 48 hrs after transient forebrain ischemia by immunohis- tochemistry and ELISA technique. Results : Expression of cFos protein was increased slightly in the hippocampus and cortex at 2 hrs after transient forebrain ischemia, but FosB protein was increased highly comparing to cFos protein. However, pretreatment with folium Artemisiae Argyi or moxa tar' herbal acupuncture on $GV_{20}$ significantly increased expression of cFos protein and significantly decreased expression of FosB protein compared to control group, respectively. These features were observed in the motor cortex and retrosplenial granular cortex as well as the hippocampus. Also, pretreatment with folium Artemisiae Argyi and moxa tar' herbal acupuncture on$GV_{20}$ significantly increased the expression of BDNF protein in the hippocampus and the cortex compared to control group at 48 hrs after transient forebrain ischemia, respectively. Conclusions : These results suggest that pretreatment with folium Artemisiae Argyi or moxa tar' herbal acupuncture on $GV_{20}$ has neuroprotective effect on transient forebrain ischemia and theherbal acupuncture on $GV_{20}$ may be related to antioxidative function.
