마음챙김 명상에 기초한 인지치료(MBCT)가 고등학생의 주의집중력과 우울 및 불안 감소에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy(MBCT) on attention, depression and anxiety of high school students. The program was composed of 8 sessions by 2hours per one session, and was modified by systematizing MBCT through focusing on practicing for development of attention. Participants were Randomly assigned to the MBCT program group(n=7) and the control group(n=8). The control group were not received any treatment. The subjects answered Conners -Wells' Adolescent Self-Report Scale(Short Form), Frankfurter Aufmerksamkeits-Inventar(FAIR), Beck's Depression Inventory and Beck's anxiety Inventory. The results indicated that MBCT program group showed significant increase in attention compared to control group and showed decrease in anxiety, depression compared to control group. It was concluded that MBCT program helps effectively to improve the attentional ability and to reduce the depression and the anxiety of high school students. We discussed about the importance for keeping practicing in daily life after the program. 본 연구는 마음챙김 명상에 기초한 인지치료(Mildfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy; MBCT) 프로그램을 실시하여 고등학생의 주의집중력에 미치는 효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경북 칠곡군 S 여자고등학교 2학년 전체를 대상으로 집중력 향상을 위한 MBCT 프로그램을 홍보하였고, 자원하여 모집된 학생들 중 프로그램에 참가하기를 희망한 15명이 MBCT 프로그램 집단과 대기통제집단에 무선할당 되었다. MBCT 프로그램은 일주일에 한번 8회기로 실시되었고, 각 회기에 2시간의 시간이 소요되었으며 사전검사와 사후검사를 실시하여 그 효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 주의집중력, 주의집중력의 하위요인 중 자기통제력이 사후에 유의하게 증가하였고, 불안과 우울이 유의하게 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 MBCT가 고등학생의 부정적 정서의 감소 뿐 아니라 주의집중력의 향상에도 도움이 된다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 끝으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 그리고 추후연구에 대한 방향으로 제시하였다.
Low-temperature Conductivity Detection for Ultrasensitive Ion Chromatography

The effects of conductivity detection temperature on calibration sensitivity and linearity in suppressed ion chromatography using hydronium or hydroxide eluent were investigated. Theoretical calibration curves for lithium and nitrate ions at 0–35 °C were calculated and compared with experimental data. As the detection temperature was lowered, both sensitivity and linearity of calibration at low concentrations were improved due to the reduced interference by water autoionization equilibrium; 4.3- and 1.3-fold increases in linear regression slopes were observed in the 0–1 µmol/L range when the temperature was lowered from 35 to 5 °C for lithium and nitrate, respectively, along with significant increases in the correlation coefficient. Any remaining water autoionization effect was near completely removed by using eluents contaminated with rubidium or bromide ion at 0.1 µmol/L.
중년의 그릿과 성공적 노화의 관계: 삶의 의미발견에 의해 조절된 사회적 생성감의 매개효과

This study explored how grit, a psychological resource in midlife, promotes successful aging by supporting social generativity. We also examined whether the presence of meaning in life(POM) moderates the mediating effect of social generativity. In this study, 420 middle-aged adults(M=57.85, SD=4.5), all of whom were married and had children, completed a self-reported questionnaire. After controlling for gender, socioeconomic status, and physical health status, the results showed significant positive direct and mediating effects of social generativity on the relationship between grit and successful aging in midlife on all pathways. Additionally, we found that POM moderated the mediating effect of social generativity. These findings suggest that the greater the perceived meaningfulness of life in midlife, the greater the influence of social generativity in mediating grit and successful aging. This study is significant in that it sheds light on the dynamics of psychological resources that may support successful aging in middle adulthood and longevity.

Theoretical and experimental studies on nonlinearity of calibration in suppressed ion chromatography have been conducted. In suppressed cation chromatography with a strong acid as an eluent, nonlinear response in conductivity detection caused by water dissociation equilibrium shift has not been of concern in general. However, this issue can be of great consequence for analysis at the µg/L level. Theoretical calculation shows that the calibration curves at µg/L level are highly curvatured and a negative response range exists, making it impossible to make a determination. The extent of this phenomenon highly depends on the types and concentrations of ionic impurities present in the eluent. The presence of nonlinearity of calibration at the µg/L level is demonstrated experimentally. In order that linear calibrations are assured and negative response is eliminated, an addition of small amount of cation impurities into the eluent is recommended, as excessive amount tends to increase background conductance and their detection limits.

본 고에서는 영유아 최우선의 보육을 기본이념으로 하는 보육 중장기 정책의 추진 방향을 살펴보고 영역별 세부 추진과제를 제시하였다. 보육 중장기 정책은 우리나라의 보육이념 하에서 국가의 보육 책임을 강화해 나가야 하며, 아울러 정부 보육예산의 부담을 감안하여 합리적이고 효과적인 제도를 개발하는 방향을 지향해야 한다. 이를 위한 중장기 보육정책 과제로서, 보육재정 지원 적절성 및 효율성, 보육서비스의 공공성, 보육운영 및 보육프로그램의 다양성, 보육인력 전문성 향상 및 처우 개선, 보육사업 지원체계 및 부모 참여, 보육서비스 질 유지 및 관리 등 6개 영역의 세부 추진과제들이 효과적으로 추진되어야 한다.
Synapse development organized by neuronal activity-regulated immediate-early genes

Classical studies have shown that neuronal immediate-early genes (IEGs) play important roles in synaptic processes critical for key brain functions. IEGs are transiently activated and rapidly upregulated in discrete neurons in response to a wide variety of cellular stimuli, and they are uniquely involved in various aspects of synapse development. In this review, we summarize recent studies of a subset of neuronal IEGs in regulating synapse formation, transmission, and plasticity. We also discuss how the dysregulation of neuronal IEGs is associated with the onset of various brain disorders and pinpoint key outstanding questions that should be addressed in this field.
