The proportion of airline accidents caused by human factors is steadily increasing. The aviation industryhas made considerable progress in reducing the accident rate; however, since the early 1980s, the accidentrate has remained constant. Due to airspace congestion, the safety margins of these existing safety promotionmethods are gradually decreasing; thus, new methods to prevent accidents and quasi-accidents must bedevised. Causative factors of aviation accidents include increased air traffic due to increased air demand,increased cumulative working hours due to long-distance flights, and complicated flight environments. Accidents often occur when several small errors accumulate in the normal course of operation, rather thanafter a single error. Accordingly, in this study, the impacts on air navigation due to human error by aviationmaintenance personnel and varying international standards (i.e., KOCA vs. F.A.A vs. EASA) analyzed, andthe relationship between human decision-making and behavior was investigated. The resulting safety analysisand alternatives were presented to prevent aviation maintenance accidents and cognitive ergonomics errors.
식품용 폴리카보네이트 기구류 중 ICP-MS를 이용한 중금속 이행량 조사

The purpose of this study was to investigate the migration levels of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) and arsenic (As) from polycarbonate food contact materials into food simulant at different temperatures (70°C and 100°C). The method was validated by linearity of calibration curves, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), recovery, precision and uncertainty. All of 200 samples, including bottles, cups, containers, ladles, spoons and tongs were purchased from domestic markets and analyzed by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Mean concentrations of positive samples were higher at 100°C than 70°C as showing a dependency of migration temperature. The migration concentrations ranged from not-detected (ND) to 4.67 μg/L, ND to 0.49 μg/L and ND to 2.91 μg/L for Pb, Cd and As, respectively, which were far below the migration limits of Korea standards and specifications for food utensils, containers and packages.
IPA를 이용한 테마파크 방문자들에 대한 인식 분석 : 롯데월드를 사례로

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of target consumers by using Importance-Performance Analysis for theme park users. In other words, this study aims to understand the importance of theme park visitors through IPA, and to grasp satisfaction by meeting each one of them. Research Design, data, and methodology –For data collection, the study adopted survey instrument and the survey participants were the Lotte World visitors. The study carried out field survey and collected 130 respondents and performed IPA using SPSS 15.0. Using the derived factors, the importance of participants' perception in the theme park and the actual perceived satisfaction after using the theme park were analyzed through the difference of importance and achievement of the measurement items. IPA is composed of four parts(keep up the good work, concentrate here, low priority, and possibile overkill). Result – As a result of the average value of importance in 5 items(events and rides, information service, accessibility and transportation system, cost, environment and convenience), environment and convenience facilities showed the highest value with average value of 3.88. Also, in the performance part, information service part showed the highest result with 3.68. Conclusions – The results indicated that entrance fee, crowding, and motion line need to be improved, while consumers were satisfied with the cleanliness and accessibility of theme park.
식품용 금속 캔으로부터 비스페놀 A 관련 물질들의 분석 및 이행 연구

Analysis method was presented for the simultaneous determination of nine bisphenol A related compounds such as bisphenol A (BPA), phenol, p-tert-butylphenol, bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE), BADGE· 2H2O, BADGE·2HCl, bisphenol F diglycidyl ether (BFDGE), BFDGE·2H2O and BFDGE·2HCl migrated from inner coatings of metal food cans by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with fluorescence detection. The method was validated by examining the linearity of calibration curve, the limit of detection (LOD), the limit of quantification (LOQ), recovery and uncertainty. The migration tests of nine BPA related compounds were carried out with four food simulants; deionized water (DW), 4% acetic acid, 50% ethanol and n-heptane. There was not any compound detected in DW, 4% acetic acid and 50% ethanol at 60oC for 30 min and n-heptane at 25oC for 60 min. BPA and phenol were migrated into 4% acetic acid and 50% ethanol at 95oC for 30 min. The concentrations were ranged from 0 to 10.77 μg/L of BPA and from 0 to 2.35 μg/L of phenol. Canned foodstuffs mostly have long-term shelf life. We investigated migration of nine BPA related compounds according to the variation in storage periods (0~90 days) and temperatures (4, 25 and 60oC). All compounds were not founded during 90 days at 4oC and 25oC, respectively. However BPA and BADGE·2H2O were founded in DW and 4% acetic acid at 60oC. The migration levels of BPA and BADGE·2H2O were close to the value of LOQ, respectively and did not change significantly as storage period. It was founded from results that the migration of BPA related compounds from metal food cans was controlled to a safe level.
