Background/Aims: Contemporary clinicians have very little understanding of the importance of preventing parasitic disease. This aim of this study was to estimate trends in intestinal parasitic disease via stool examination in healthy Korean adults. Methods: We reviewed stool examination results to detect any intestinal parasite infections in newly examined healthy patients at the Health Promotion Center of Samsung Medical Center from 2000 to 2006. Results: The rates of overall intestinal parasite infection showed substantial growth from 2000 to 2006: 2.51%, 2.63%, 3.56%, 4.04%, 4.48%, 3.94%, and 4.45% (p<0.001) for 2000 to 2006, respectively. Rates of infection with helminthic eggs (five species) increased from 0.80% in 2000 to 1.50% in 2006 (p<0.001). This trend corresponds to the positive rate of Clonorchis sinensis helminthes (0.45% to 1.43%; p<0.001). Total protozoan cysts infection (four species) also increased (from 1.96% to 2.99%, p<0.001), especially with infection of Endolimax nana (1.15% to 2.23%; p<0.001). Conclusions: Rates of intestinal parasite infection have increased over the last seven years, especially with C. sinensis and E. nana. These results demonstrate that Korean doctors should pay more attention to the diagnosis and treatment of parasite infections to further patient education and prevent parasitic infections. This paper carries out an evaluation of the quality of preferred colors in digital photography reproduced on the display of smart phones. In order to inquire into the display that has established itself as a major media of the reproduction of digital photographs, this study compares the color reproduction ability of two smart phones equipped with the latest display technologies such as AM-OLED and TFT-LCD and evaluates their colors and image quality. The methods of research include: 1) an analysis of the results of preceding research through the process of an objective evaluation of colors; and 2) addition of details of an analysis of the enhanced display of the newest smart phones and suggestion of a few supplement points. It is safe to say that the scale of delivery of various visual arts through smart phones has recently exceeded that through the analogue methods. According to this flow, an objective evaluation of digital colors and a study on standards have become necessary subjects of research, regarding the way in which a picture taken is digitally reproduced on a display. This paper recorded a comparative analysis of the trend of colors reproduced through smart phones in the processes of producing and generating digital images. The displays are calculated from the range of the performance included within display gamut volume from six categories of database that are luminance, white balance, gray scale linearity, RGB channel, color reproduction and contrast.
상부 위장관 내시경 영상 랜드마크 분류를 위한 딥러닝 모델 비교 분석

Endoscopy progress is very important role in the doctors interpretation of the endoscopy. However, the precise location of landmarks can be difficult to determine due to the narrow field of view provided by endoscopic imaging. In this study, we proposed a deep learning approach to accurately tract. To address class imbalance, we preprocessed medical image data and selected two versions of the Resnet, Densent and inception models to train and compare their accuracies. We added 6,400 images to the 2,546 images dataset provided by Yonsei Severance Hospital and distributed them uniformly into 5 classes. We augmented with ImageDataGenerator module, 70% of the data for training, 10% for validation, and 20% for testing. Our results show that the InceptionResnetV2 model achieves the highest accuracy of 93.98%, demonstrating the potential of the proposed approach to improve diagnosis and treatment in upper gastrointestinal endoscopy.
