As a means to transport, protect and retain goods, packages are indispensable to all products no matter what they are. In addition, packages with appropriate design works can draw customers' attention, giving a synergy to its original function. Because cosmetics is a high involvement product where fashion trends are stressed, packages for cosmetic products as well as their containers are very much valued. According to the data from a survey made by a famous cosmetics company in Korea, about 40% of the total sales is being made at those retail outlets specialized in cosmetics. At those cosmetics shops, the products of various brand are being displayed in many styles for sale. As customers can easily compare one with another under this circumstance, the package design starts to act as a POP(Point of Purchase) ADs. Also, in the cases of cyber shopping and sales via TV ADs, product design carries a critical role in the decision-making process of customers to buy the specific product. As the cosmetics industry continues to develop, treatment cosmetics which provide specific benefits for skin are actively studied and developed by many cosmetics brands. For such trend in cosmetics industry seems to last for a longtime, the package design for cosmetic products including the functional design factors for containers to preserve the essence of the contents may be required to undergo some creative changes. Because cosmetics, especially, is a product to improve human life, allowing the consumers to keep the skin condition to look younger and more beautiful, and be more personalized through color and scent, it has more creative factors to be applied to the package design than any other manufactured goods. Through this study, we will take a look at the concept of container design and its features, the way to develop container design, and the contribution of package to a product.
SiC nano filler를 이용한 초고탄성 epoxy/carbon 복합재료소재 개발

나노복합재료는 고분자 수지내 나노입자의 균일한 분산상태에 따라 물성이 좌우 된다. 본 연구에서는 SiC 나노입자를 이용한 고탄성 에폭시 수지를 제조하고 이를 이용한 고강도 CFRP 소재에 대한 내용이다. 나노입자의 형상에 따른 고분자 수지의 기계적 물성 강화 효과를 확인하였다. SiC 나노입자의 형상은 구 형태, 위스커 형태를 비교 평가하였으며, SiC 나노입자의 전하량을 구간별로 측정하여 고분자 수지 내부에 강화재의 분산도를 커패시턴스 측정법을 이용하여 평가하였다. SiC 나노입자의 최적 형상과 농도 조건을 확보한 뒤 산업용 SiC/에폭시 premix 수지를 제조하였으며, 이를 이용하여 탄소섬유 보강 SiC 에폭시 복합재료를 제조하여 기계적 물성을 평가하였다. SiC 나노입자와 에폭시 수지간 공유결합의 증가로 일반 에폭시 수지에 비해 굴곡강도가 월등히 향상되었으며, 탄소섬유 조건에 따라 선택적으로 복합재료의 강도를 개선할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

UAM (Urban Air Mobility) is a new safe, secure, and more sustainable air transportation system for passengers and cargo in urban environments. Commercial operations of UAM are expected to start in 2025. Since production rates of UAM are expected to be closer to cars than conventional aircraft, the airworthiness methodology for UAM must be prepared for mass production. Composite materials are expected to be mainly used for UAM structures to reduce weight. In this paper, the composite material qualification method was derived and the materials were applied for small aircraft application. It is expected to reduce the airworthiness certification time by applying composite material qualification system and its database.

온실을 통해 시설원예작물을 재배하는 대다수의 농업인들은 병해충의 예측, 진단 및 방제에 큰 관심을 가지고 있으며, 특히 농가에서는 병해충 관리 문제가 가장 큰 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 시설원예작물에 발생하는 병해충에 관한 정보를 데이터베이스로 구축하고 이를 토대로 농가단위에서 병해충을 손쉽고 정확하게 예측 및 관리할 수 있는 모바일 사용자 기반의 멀티미디어 병해충 관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 본 시스템에서는 모바일을 기반으로 하기 때문에 온실에 직접 방문하지 않고 이동 중에도 온실 내의 작물의 다양한 정보를 쉽게 얻을 수 있어 적은 인력으로 효율적인 관리가 가능하다. 시스템의 수행성을 검증하게 위해 간단한 가상 온실 모형을 제작한 후, 각 환경 센서의 시스템 구성 요소를 구현하여 PDA를 통해 온실의 상태를 손쉽게 확인 할 수가 있었고, 효율적인 병해충 예측 및 관리가 가능한 수행 결과를 보였다. 이를 통해 제안한 시스템을 이용하여 온실 작물의 병해충 예측 관리를 모바일을 통해 언제 어디서든지 확인 할 수 있음을 확인했다. The most farm managers gardening the horticultural plants in greenhouse concern massively about the diagnosis and prevention of the breeding and extermination for pests, especially, the managing problem for pests turns up as main issue. For this, in the paper, we establish the database with informations about the pests that occurs on horticultural plants in greenhouse. And then, we design and implement mobile-based multimedia pest management system which makes prediction and management for pest. There are no need to visit the greenhouse because our system is based on mobile devices that obtain the variable information in the greenhouse, which makes management in efficient with little number of people. We build simply virtual greenhouse model that assembles system component of environmental sensor for performance analysis and offers a PDA view of the greenhouse status. The proposed system achieves the performance goal that predicts efficiently happening the pest and is on capability managing about that pests. With the proposed system, we confirm the capability that is no restriction on the spatial and temporal space about the prediction and management for pest in greenhouse upon mobile devices.
여성 화장품 용기디자인이 구매성향에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

This study investigated the influence of package design of female cosmetics on the purchasing preferences of view. The subjects of this study were the consumers of female cosmetics from their twenties to the forties. and were 195 consumers who dropped into beauty counters to buy their cosmetics. With this study, it can be said that package design is an effective factor on purchasing of female cosmetics. In general, most consumers prefer to practical and useful package design. But the younger consumers tend to be more influenced by luxury and expensive package design than an elderly consumers on purchasing cosmetics. And it made a little difference in purchasing preferences by academic background.
