The TAEDONG Center for Eastern Classics HALLYM University(泰東古典硏究所) and Korean Classics Research Institute(民族文化推進會 國譯硏修院) are professional Chinese composition education institutions that focus on helping trainees to have accurate interpreting ability in reading Eastern classics written in Chinese characters. It is possible to estimate these two institutions’importance in Chinese composition education field just for the fact that they have been teaching Chinese composition for more than 30 years constantly. Contrary to the importance of them, there has been no formal study reported to academic world on actual curriculum or transfiguration of those institutions. Considering the situation, the author tried to provide the history of curriculum and actual state of the two institutions through this paper as simply as possible. Also, this paper defined that the two institutions have significance in Chinese composition education for their fundamental driving force in creative succession and modernization of native culture through systematic education on Confucianism and the main Eastern scriptures. 泰東古典硏究所와 民族文化推進會 國譯硏修院은 모두 연수원들에게 漢字로 된 東洋 古典의 정확한 解讀能力을 保有케 하기 위해 중점적인 노력을 기울이고 있는 전문적인 한문 교육기관이다. 30여년 이상 변함없이 한문교육을 실시하고 있다는 점 하나만으로도 일단 두 기관이 한문교육과 관련해 갖는 사회적 중요성은 충분히 짐작해 볼 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 의외로 지금까지 두 기관이 행하고 있는 교육과정의 실제나 변모양상 등에 대해서는 정식으로 학계에 보고된 적이 없었던 것 같다. 그러한 점에서 필자는 본고를 통해 양 기관이 지금까지 수행해왔던 교육과정의 역사와 실상을 가능한 한 간명하게 제시하고자하였다. 그리고 두 기관이 한문교육에 대해 갖는 의의를 儒學 및 東洋의 주요 경전에 대한 체계적인 교육을 통해 민족문화의 창조적 계승과 현재화를 위한 根源的인 推動力으로서의 역할에 있다고 규정하였다.
Atrial Septal Defect with Normal Pulmonary Arterial Pressure in Adult Cyanotic Patient

A 22-year-old male presented with recurrent stroke, central cyanosis, and dyspnea. Transesophageal echocardiography and cardiaccatheterization revealed bidirectional shunt flow through atrial septal defect (ASD) without pulmonary arterial hypertension. Theorifice of inferior vena cava facing towards ASD opening led partially right to left shunt resulting in cyanosis with normalpulmonary arterial pressure.
BHA 첨가추출 정어리유 저장중의 고도불포화지방산의 안정성

정어리유의 산화 안정성과 지질추출시에 첨가한 BHA에 의한 저장중의 산화방지효과를 검토하고 산화로 인한 지방산 조성의 변화를 조사한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. BHA는 유리 지방산의 생성을 현저히 억제하는 효과가 있었다. 2. BHA는 과산화물 생성을 억제하였으며 특히 카르보닐 화합물의 생성을 아주 강하게 억제하였다. 즉 BHA는 과산화물 분해를 억제하는 작용이 있었다. 3. 정어리유는 C_(20:5)와 C_(22:6)의 함량이 23% 이상으로서 매우 높았다. 4. 산화에 의한 지방산의 감소는 polyene산에서 급격하였으며 특히 C_(20:5)와 C_(22:6)산이 급격히 감소하였다. BHA첨가는 C_(22:5)와 C_(22:6)산의 산화를 크게 억제할 수 있었다. The storage stability of sardine oil and the effect of BHA on the oxidation of fatty acids especially, highly unsatureted fatty acids like EPA and DHA were investigated. The sardine oil was extracted from round sardine, with chloroform-methanol(2:1 v/v) solvent with/without addition of BHA, and then stored at 30℃. The deterioration of oil was examined periodically by measuring acid value(AV), peroxide value(POV), carbonyl value(COV), and oxygen absorption. The changes in fatty acid composition during the storage was determined by GLC analysis to elucidate the oxidative stability of individual fatty acid. Formation of free fatty acid increased rapidly according to the storage time elapsed in the BHA free oil while it was obviously inhibited in the BHA added oil. Peroxides and carbonyl compounds were formed very rapidly at the beginning of storage of BHA free oil. But in the oil extracted with BHA, formation of peroxides was somewhat inhibited and formation of carbonyl compounds was very strongly inhibited. Principal fatty acids of sardine oil were C_(16:0), C_(16:1), C_(18:1), C_(20:5) and C_(22:6) acids. and ω₃-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (ω₃ PUFA) content was very high as much as 23% of the total fatty acid content. The oxidative degradation of fatty acids was enhanced at PUFA especially C_(20:5) and C_(22:6) acid in BHA free oil. However, the oxidation was fairly retarded in the oil extracted with BHA and the both C_(20:5) and C_(22:6) acids remained at the end of a month storage.
