Paraquat, is a widely used for its great effect as a herbicide. But the mortality rate by paraquat intoxication is known to be very high. It is thought to act by changing form to superoxide and peroxide free radical. Almost paraquat intoxication is through ingestion. A few intoxication of paraquat is through skin absorption. But there was no known death case through skin absorption. We experienced a case of a expired patient by paraquat intoxication through skin abrasion and scratching wound. A 75-year-old man was visited emergency room after motorcycle accident during transporting paraquat. He has multiple abrasion and scratching wound on extremities, and pelvic bone fracture. There was no evidence of ingestion of paraquat. But serum/urine gramoxone level was all positive. In spite of wound irrigation and hemoperfusion, his condition was been gone form bed to worse. 2 days after, multiple organ failure and the respiratory arrest were developed and he was expired. Paraquat intoxication through skin wound is extremely dangerous and death by that could possibly happen

소엽 Ethyl acetate 분획의 세포독성 평가

The Cytotoxic activity of the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of Perilla frutescens on human oral epithelioid carcinoma cell lines was evaluated by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol- 2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazalium bromide (MTT) colorimetric method. The light microscopic study was carried out to observe the morphological changes of cultured human oral epitheloid carcinoma cell lines (KB) These results were obtained as follows; 1. subfraction 1 of the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of perilla frutescens was shown significant cytotoxic activity (p<0.001) at 10-2 mg/ml concentration, this concentration was decreased the cytotoxic activity of 70.3% . 2. The comparison of IC50 values of various subfractions in human oral epithelioid carcinoma cell lines was exhibited that their susceptibility to these subfractions decreased in the following order ; subfraction 5 > subfraction 4 > subfraction 3 > subfraction 2 > subfraction 1 by MTT assay. In light microscopy, the subfraction 1 of the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of Perilla frutescens showed the highest cytotoxic activity. These findings suggest that subfraction 1 possessed the most cytotoxic constituents.

4M을 활용한 떨어짐 사망사고 저감 방안 연구

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 안전보건공단과 고용노동부의 자료를 분석해본 결과 2019년 산업재해로 인하여 전체 사망자(질병+사고) 수도 2,020명에 달하며 경제적 손실추정액은 27.6조 원으로 나타났다. 이는 Table 1에서와같이 경제적 손실추정액은 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며 정부 차원의 손실액을 획기적으로 감소시킬 수 있도록 개선방안을 제시해야 할 때라고 판단된다. 연구방법: 본 연구에서는 선행연구를 통한 요인을 선정하였으며, 서울, 경기지역을 우선으로 지방에 산재되어 있는 현장 관리 감독 업무를 담당하는 기술자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 결과분석을 위해 Jamovi 프로그램으로 신뢰도 분석, 기술통계 및 상관관계 분석, 다중회기 분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구에서 지시한 연구가설을 검증하기 위하여 다중회기 분석을 시행하였으며 분석 결과 개구부에 대한 떨어짐 사망사고 방지를 위하여 기계적 요인과 관리적 요인은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며 인적 요인과 물질·환경적 요인은 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 외벽의 떨어짐 사망사고 방지를 위하여 마찬가지로 기계적 요인과 관리적 요인은 영향을 미치지 않으며 인적 요인과 물질·환경적 요인은 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구는 안전보건공단에 게시된 자료 중 최근 13년간 450건의 떨어짐 사망사고를 분석한 결과 떨어짐 사망사고가 가장 많이 발생하고 있는 개구부와 외벽부에 대하여 떨어짐 사망사고를 감소시킬 수 있는 요인을 분석하였다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze data from the Ministry of Health, Safety and Health and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the total number of deaths (disease + accidents) reached 2,020 in 2019 and the estimated economic loss was 27.6 trillion won. This is believed to be the time to present improvements to ensure that economic loss estimates are steadily increasing as in Table 1, and that government-level losses can be drastically reduced. Method: In this study, factors were selected through prior research, and reliability analysis, technical statistics and correlation analysis, and multi-term analysis were conducted through the Jamovi program for the analysis of results. Result: Multiple session analysis was conducted to verify the research theory indicated in this study, and the analysis showed that mechanical and management factors did not affect the fall death accident of the opening, and human factors, material and environmental factors had a static effect. In addition, mechanical and administrative factors do not affect the fall of the outer wall, and human and material and environmental factors have a static effect. Conclusion:: As a result of analyzing 450 falling deaths over the past 13 years among the data posted to the Korea Health and Safety Corporation, the most common causes of falling deaths were the openings and outer walls.

한옥의 창호 격자 구조에 따른 내구성 평가

Recently, as an alternative to the residential type, the interest in the hanok has increased and the spread and expansion for the creative succession of the hanok have been actively performed. In this study, we carried out load test to evaluate the durability according to the lattice structure of hanok window. Experiments were carried out by modularizing window lattice. Experiments were carried out using variables such as area, aspect ratio, type of paper, and type of load. As a result, the color hanji showed 27.5 ~ 200% higher load capacity than the yong yong yi. Both types of A200-12 specimens showed the highest yield strength. Also, the increase of the uniform distribution load with increasing area was evaluated as the aspect ratio was smaller. As a result of the load test of the concentrated load, the strength of the test specimen of the A100 series increased as the aspect ratio became smaller. In other words, A100-13 specimen with the smallest aspect ratio of 0.33 showed the greatest strength. Therefore, the durability of the lattice module of the window is considered to be better when the area of the module is larger and the aspect ratio of the concentrated load is smaller.

The purpose of this study was to comparatively analyze the kinematic variables between the squash backhand and racquetball backhand strokes through three-dimensional cinematography. Three expert racquetball players and three expert squash players were involved in the data gathering process. The horizontal, vertical and lateral displacement of racket and trunk segment, intersegmental angular velocity of the wrist, elbow and shoulder joints, and the linear velocity of the racket were descriptively analyzed, and the followings were concluded. The racket of the squash backhand stroke showed an `U` shaped movement where the racket moved rapidly downward and moved forward to make an impact and followed through to a front-top finish, while the racket of racquetball backhand stroke showed an `O` shaped movement where the racket showed circular movement through the rear and bottom positions for the impact, and showed rotation through the lower-front and upper front to a upper-rear-ward finish during the follow-through. The peak velocity of racket was found before the impact point in the squash backhand stroke and at the impact point in the racquetball backhand stroke. For the final conclusion, for the squash backhand stoke, instructors might be better to make the racket move downward to make highest velocity before the impact and finished short follow-through, while for the racquetball backhand stroke, to make the racket move forward to make highest velocity at the impact and finished rather long follow-through.

사외이사제도 개선에 관한 연구

중국 경제에 대한 불안감이 한국 경제의 우려로 나타나면서 주가가 곤두박질하고 있다. 무한경쟁시대를 맞이하여 우선 자산규모를 기준으로 한 기업집단 지정제도는 폐지하고 외국기업처럼 신규사업 진출이나 기업 인수ㆍ합병을 통하여 기업이 성장하여야 한다. 규제폐지와 아울러 기업의 경쟁력강화를 위하여 내부적으로 기업경영의 투명성과 건전성이 요구된다. 미국과 한국의 기업들의 회계부정 사건으로 경제계에 큰 충격을 주었다. 이 같은 사건은 우리 경제계가 단기적인 매출이나 이익 성장보다는, 사회에 대한 경제윤리와 경제정의를 실현하는 것이 더 중요하다는 것을 알게 하였다. 윤리적인 경영을 하기 위해서는 건전한 기업지배구조가 필요하다. 건전한 지배구조를 만들기 위해서는 이사회의 역할이 중요하다. 이사회 내에서 건전한 비판과 감독을 하며 장기적인 경영의 큰 그림을 그릴 수 있는 사외이사의 활용이 무엇보다 필요하다. 엄격한 감사를 집행하기 위해서는 감사위원회가 필요하며, 미국에서는 구성원 모두 사외이사로 구성되어 있다. 사외이사가 이사회와 감사위원회를 구성하는 주요 구성원으로서 이사회의 업무감독과 감사위원회를 통한 업무와 회계의 감시기능이 중요하다. 사외이사제도의 역사가 짧은 우리나라는 사외이사의 선임을 지배주주나 현직 경영자에 의해 선임되고 있다. 외국에서 사외이사 선임기준으로 중요시되는 전문성과 역량을 소지한 사외이사의 선임의 비율도 높지 않다. 따라서 국제화 개방화로 인한 지배구조의 투명성과 수월성이 기업의 경쟁력에 미치는 영향이 점점 커지고 있어 사외이사 제도를 통한 기업경영의 투명성과 건전성 확보하여야 한다. 우리는 외부적으로는 기업규제를 풀어야 하고 내부적으로는 기업의 윤리성을 회복하여야 한다. 기업의 윤리성의 회복은 이제 외자유치와도 밀접한 관계가 있음을 알 수 있다. SRI투자는 윤리적이고 친환경적인 기업체에 투자한다. 고도의 윤리성을 가진 기업체에 근무하는 종업원들이 자긍심을 가지고 일 할 수 있으며, 소비자들로 하여금 충성된 소비를 이끌어 낼 수 있다. 이러한 양심적인 기업을 만드는데 사외이사의 역할이 중요하다. 앞으로는 기업지배구조의 흐름이 투자자와 이해관계인에 대하여 경영의 투명성과 경영정보를 공시함으로서 상호 이해와 호응을 구하는 새로운 전략이 요구됨으로 사외이사들의 경영자와 투자자 및 이해관계인의 중재자로서 역할이 중요하다. The outside director system was introduced to overcome the economic crisis of Korea in 1997. The outside directors serve as components of board of directors with expert knowledge, experiences and potential power. But they, with independent position, do not take part in managerial practice. It is necessary to cultivate much more outside directors with expert knowledge and independency to develope the outside director system in korea. It must be considered to make utilize of ex-CEO's professionality and also essential to nominate outside director who experienced in foreign country, advanced in outside director system. The outside director necessarily has full information about the business plan and managerial surroundings for the company to accomplish supervising role effectively. If wants, outside director must be also guaranteed to the right to information to have the other information offered by company. The assignment of role is required among outside directors, small amount stockholders and institution investors. When small amount stockholders excise representative suit right, stockholder suggestion right, a claim for displacement of board-auditor, and institution investors carry out advice and managerial supervision actively, the governance corporate structure of company for us to pursuing will be improved.
