        산사(山査)가 노화유발(老化誘發) 흰쥐의 항산화능(抗酸化能)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        Objectives : CRATAEGII FRUCTUS(山査) is known as the substance which delays aging by the antioxidant effects. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of CRATAEGII FRUCTUS(山査) on antioxidant enzyme activities such as Thiobarbituric acid reactive substance(TBARS), Superoxide dismutase(SOD), Catalase(CAT), Glutathione peroxidase (GSH-px) in rat erythrocytes and blood plasma. Methods : Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups, Normal group (supplied enough water and feeds only, Normal Group), D-galatose administered group(injected D-galatose 50mg/kg, 1time/day for 6 weeks, Control Group) and CRATAEGII FRUCTUS(山査) administered group (D-galactose 50mg/kg and CRATAEGII FRUCTUS(山査) extracts 85.0mg/200g 1time/day for 6 weeks, SS Group). Rats were sacrificed and TBARS, SOD, CAT, GSH-px, neutral fat and cholesterol were measured in rat erythrocytes and blood plasma. Results : There was no significant difference in the level of TBARS in the blood plasma between each experimental group. Red blood cell SOD activities were significantly different in each group. They were significantly decreased in the Control group compared to those of Normal and there was an increasing phenomenon in the SS group compared to the Control group. There was a significant difference in the activities of the red blood cell - glutathione peroxides in each group. There was a significant increase in the SS group compared to the Control group. Red blood cell catalase activities was no significant difference in each group. Plasma total lipid concentration was significantly different in each group. It was significantly increased in the Control group compared with the Normal group and it was decreasing in the SS group compared to the control group. Plasma triglyceride was not significantly different in each group. Plasma total cholesterol and Plasma HDL -cholesterol concentrations in the blood plasma were not significantly different in each group. Conclusions : According to the above results, it is considered that CRATAEGII FRUCTUS(山査) is effective in inhibiting lipid peroxides and increasing the activities of antioxidative(anti aging) enzyme in D-galactose induced aging rat.

        쇄파후(碎波後) 발생(發生)하는 연안류(沿岸流)의 유속분포(流速分布)에 관한 연구(?究)

        This study aims at the elucidation of the distribution of longshore currents after wave breaking. Longshore currents have relations to the beach process and dispersion of contaminants in the nearshore region, thus the understanding of its. mechanism is very important. In the present study, using the electromagnetic current meter, the water particle velocity is measured in the 3-dimensional wave field and Eulerian mean velocity is obtained. At the same time, from the dispersion of tracer, the Lagrangian mean velocity is also obtained. It is observed that the longshore currents were confined within the surf zone and the maximum value of them exists in the surf zone. The longshore currents were considered to be constant toward the depth and we obtained the similar distribution of longshore currents between the measured value and the theoretical ones by Longuet-Higgins model. 연안류(沿岸流)는 연안표사(沿岸漂砂) 해안침식(海岸侵食) 또는 항만매몰(港灣埋沒)외 원인(原因)이 되기도 하며, 연안역(沿岸域)의 물질확산(物質擴散)의 외력(外力)으로 작용(作用)하기 때문에, 그 현상(現象)의 이해(理解) 및 구명(究明)은 공학적(工學的)으로 갖는다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서는 실험(實驗)을 통해서 연안류(沿岸流)의 분포특성(分布特性)을 고찰(考察)하고, 실험결과(實驗結果)를 Longuet-Higgins model에 의한 계산치(計算値)와 비교(比較) 검토(檢討)하였다. 일반적(一般的)으로 연안류(沿岸流)는 쇄파대내(碎波帶內)에 국한(局限)되어 분포(分布)하며, 쇄파대외(碎波帶外)에서는 매우 미약(微弱)함을 보였다. 연안류(沿岸流) 수심방향(水深方向)으로의 분포(分布)는 거의 일정(一定)하였으며, 실험치(實驗値)와 계산치(計算値)는 최대치(最大値) 부근(附近)을 제외하고, N=0.05 일 경우 좋은 일치(一致)를 보이고 있다.

        원발성 부갑상선 기능항진증의 치료 경험

        Purpose: The number of patients diagnosed with primary hyperparathyroidism has been increased owing to the routine biochemical screening of serum calcium since 1970's in the western countries as well as recently in Korea. However, the absolute number of surgically treated patients in Korea is still smaller than other developed countries in the incidence wise, and this could indicate the tendency of relatively late diagnosis and treatment of primary hyperparathyroidism in Korea. This study was performed to investigate the clinical character and post operative results of surgically treated Korean patients. Methods: 80 primary hyperparathyroidism patients surgically treated at Asan Medical Center from Jan 1996 to August 2002 were reviewed retrospectively. Results: The etiological proportion of the primary hyperparathyroidism (single adenoma 80%, hyperplasia or multiple adenoma 10%, MENI 9%, cancer 1%) was similar to the western countries. However, the proportion of the symptomatic patients (82%) to the asymptomatic patients (18%) was much higher compared to the recent data of western countries. 41 patients (single adenoma 36 case, hyperplasia 4 cases, cancer 1case) were followed up more than 3 months after surgery with monitoring the serum calcium and i-PTH. In 23 patients (44%), their i-PTH level was above normal range more than once during follow up period without hypercalcemia. The postoperative serum calcium level was lower and the preoperative i-PTH level was higher in these patients significantly compared to the patients with normal postoperative i-PTH level. The tumor size tended to be larger in these patients but statistically insignificant. These results suggest that these patients had more severe hyperparathyroidism. Conclusion: The proportion of the patients who were symptomatic and has persistent post operative high i-PTH level suggesting severe hyperparathyroidism was relatively high compared to the western countries. Earlier diagnosis and treatment is demanded in Korea. (Korean J Endocrine Surg 2003;3:1-6)

        등속조인트를 적용한 사판식 유압 모터/점프의 로드형 피스톤에 대한 운동해석

        Recently, swash plate type hydraulic axial piston motors/pumps are being extensively used in the world, because of simple design, light weight and effective cost. Structural problem of the swash plate type motor/pump is that tilting angle of swash plate should be limited to relatively small value and lateral farce on pistons has an undesirable effect in reciprocating motion. To solve these problems, piston rod mechanism, which is commonly used in bent axis type motor/pump, is considered to be applied to the swash plate type motor/pump. In this paper, kinematic analysis was done on the piston rod mechanism. A series of formula were derived and numerical calculations were done for a set of motor parameters.

      • 차량용 증강현실 기술개발 동향

        차량용 증강현실 기술은 운전자의 신체적 인지적 부하를 최소화함으로써 운전자의 안전과 편의를 달성하기 위한 목적으로 차량에서 제공되는 정보를 운전자의 시야에 맞게 운전자 전방 실세계에 정합하여 제공하는 기술이다. 최근 차량의 지능화와 증강현실기술 접목의 다양화 및 디스플레이 기술의 급진한 발전으로 차량용 HUD(Head Up Display)기술 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 특히 최근에는 국내외 자동차 제조사 및 연구기관을 중심으로 AR(Augmented Reality)기술을 차량용 HUD에 접목한 AR-HUD 기술 개발이 진행 중이다. 본고에서는 이러한 배경을 토대로 차량용 HUD 기술 및 차량용 AR 기술의 개발 현황과 관련 이슈에 관하여 살펴보고자 한다.
