        A successful on-line monitoring system for conventional machining operations has the potential to reduce cost, guarantee consistency of product quality, improve productivity and provide a safer environment for the operator. In fine-shape machining, typical signs of tool problems such as vibration, noise, chip flow characteristics and visual signs are almost unnoticeable without the use of special equipment. These characteristics increase the importance of automatic monitoring in fine-shape machining; however, sensing and interpretation of signals are more complex. In addition, the shafts of the micro-tools break before the typical extensive cutting edge of the tool gets damaged. In this study, the existence of a relationship between the characteristics of the cutting force and tool usage was investigated, and tool breakage detection algorithm was developed and the following results are obtained. In data analysis, didn't use a relative error compare which mainly used in established experiment and investigated tool breakage detection algorithm in time domain which can detect AE and cutting force signals more effective and accurate.

      • 전전자 교환기에서의 과부하제어에 관한 연구

        TDX-10 및 EWSD 기종의 과부하 제어방식을 검토한 후 프로세서 점유율 측면에서 성능이 향상된 제어방식을 3가지로 분류하여 제안하며, 각각을 가정된 모델에 따라 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 성능평가를 행하였다. 그 결과 TDX-10L방식을 제외한 제안한 방식은 과부하 상태에서도 시스템 설계용량인 90%의 프로세서 점유율로 유지함을 확인하였다. The performance analysis of proposed three overload control methods is conducted to present the more optimal than methods using in conventional TDX-10 and EWSD by simulation with the assumed model. From simulation result, the two methods except TDX-10L are satisfied with 90% of the designed processor engineered capacity.

        This paper describes an intelligent cruise control system for automobile. With the remarkable numericalincrease of automobiles on the roal, the optimized traffic flow control using the cruise control is one of the very important traffic problems to overcome the limitation of an existing road capacity. Based onthis idea that minimize the fuel cost and teh air pollution, and accept a driver's needs for driving, we have developed an intelligent cruise control system for vehicle. This proposed intelligent fuzzy cruise controller was successfully implemented using the fuzzy algorithm, the i80c196 μ-controller board and the throttle valve actuator. The field test results on an linear road was introduced.

        Spindle design is very important to improve the competitive power in production cost of high quality machine tools. In this paper, spindle system was designed with built-in motor can be used to simplify the structure, to improve the machining frexibility, and to perform high speed machining of machine tools. According to the spindle speed is high, spindle end's displacement is considered to be an important subject. To know how the unbalanced mass affect to the spindle end displacement, modal analysis was performed and analyzed. When, unbalanced mass was 0g, spindle front end displacement was a minimum, and unbalanced mass was 20g, spindle rear end displacement was kept to a minimum.

        The purpose of this study was to verify the hypothetical method by identifying the influence of cohesiveness on member satisfaction and team success in middle school soccer players. Subjects for this study were 183 soccer players from 10 soccer teams at middle school level in Taejon city, Chungnam and Chungbuk Province. For the data analysis multiple regression and correlation method was calculated. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. In the subfactor of cohesiveness. the significant influence showed in the feeling of social group attachment on the satisfaction to game, the subjective group unification or social group unification on the satisfaction of the position. and the subjective group unification on the satisfaction of the position. and the subjective attachment on the satisfaction of belonging. 2. The subjective group attachment and the subjective group unification showed significant influences on the team scoring. and subjective group attachment showed significant effect on the loss of score and the percentage of victories.

      • 복강경 검사로 진단한 결핵성 복막염 1례

        Tuberculous peritonitis is discovered from sixty to ninty percent of pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Clinical symptoms are nonspecific such as mild fever, weakness and malaise but show tenderness in right lower abdomen and abdominal distension. Diagnosis is confirmed by laparoscopic and pathologic findings. We report a case of tuberculous peritonitis in an 11-year-old boy who was hospitalized because of abdominal distension with pain on right lower abdomen which had developed one day before he came to hospital. Chest X-ray showed pleural effusion on both sides. We did laparoscopic examination and observed diffuse nodular infiltration. In biopsy specimen we observed osseous granuloma and acid-fast bacilli in AFB stain.

        Adipose-Derived Stem Cells Improve Efficacy of Melanocyte Transplantation in Animal Skin

        Vitiligo is a pigmentary disorder induced by a loss of melanocytes. In addition to replacement of pure melanocytes, cocultures of melanocytes with keratinocytes have been used to improve the repigmentation outcome in vitiligo treatment. We previously identifi ed by in vitro studies, that adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) could be a potential substitute for keratinocytes in cocultures with melanocytes. In this study, the effi cacy of pigmentation including durability of grafted melanocytes and short-term safety was examined in the nude mouse and Sprague-Dawley rat after grafting of primary cultured human melanocytes, with or without different ratios of primary cultured human ADSCs. Simultaneous grafting of melanocytes and ADSCs, which were separately cultured and mixed on grafting at the ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3, showed better effi cacy than that of pure melanocytes. Grafting of melanocytes cocultured with ADSCs resulted in a similar outcome as the grafting of cell mixtures. Skin pigmentation by melanocytes : ADSCs at the ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 was better than at 1:3. No signifi cant difference was observed between the 1-week and 2-week durations in coculturing. Time-course microscopic examination showed that the grafted melanocytes remained a little longer than 6-week post-grafting. No infl ammatory cell infi ltration was observed in the grafted skin and no melanocytes were detectable in other organs. Collectively, grafting of melanocytes and ADSCs was equally safe and more effective than grafting of melanocytes alone. Despite the absence of signifi cant differences in effi cacy between the group of 1:1 and that of 1:2 ratio, 1:2 ratio for 1-week coculturing may be better for clinical use from the cost-benefi t viewpoint.

        The effect of two Terpenoids, Ursolic acid and Oleanolic acid on epidermal permeability barrier and simultaneously on dermal functions

        Ursolic acid (UA) and Oleanolic acid (ONA), known as urson, micromeroJ and malol, are pentacyclic triterpenoid compounds which naturally occur in a large number of vegetarian foods, medicinal herbs, and plants. They may occur in their free acid form or as aglycones for triterpenoid saponins, which are comprised of a triterpenoid aglycone, linked to one or more sugar moieties. Therefore UA and ONA are similar in pharmacological activity. Lately scientific research, which led to the identification of UA and ONA, revealed that several pharmacological effects, such as antitumor, hepato-protective, anti-inflammatory, anticarcinogenic, antimicrobial, and anti-hyperlipidemic could be attributed to UA and ONA. Here, we introduced the effect of UA and ONA on acutely barrier disrupted and normal hairless mouse skin. To evaluate the effects of UA and ONA on epidermal permeability barrier recovery, both flanks of 8-12 week-old hairless mice were topically treated with either 0.01-0.1 mg/ml UA or 0.1-1 mg/ml ONA after tape stripping, and TEWL (Transepidermal water loss) was measured. The recovery rate increased in those UA or ONA treated groups (0.1 mg/ml UA and 0.5 mg/ml ONA) at 6 h more than 20% compared to vehicle treated group (p<0.05). Here, we introduced the effects of UA and ONA on acute barrier disruption and normal epidermal permeability barrier function. For verifying the effects of UA and ONA on normal epidermal barrier, hydration and TEWL were measured for 1 and 3 weeks after UA and ONA applications (2mg/ml per day). We also investigated the features of epidermis and dermis using electron microscopy (EM) and light microscopy (LM). Both samples increased hydration compared to vehicle group from 1 week without TEWL alteration (p< O.005). EM examination using Ru04 and Os04 fixation revealed that secretion and numbers of lamellar bodies and complete formation of lipid bilayers were most prominent (ONA ≥ UA >Vehicle). LM finding showed that thickness of stratum corneum (SC) was slightly increased and especially epidermal thickening and flattening was observed (UA>ONA>Veh). We also observed that UA and ONA stimulate epidermal keratinocyte differentiation via PPAR a. Protein expression of involucrin, loricrin, and filaggrin increased at least 2 and 3 fold in HaCaT cells treated with either ONA (10 μM) or UA (10 μM) for 24h respectively. This result suggested that the UA and ONA can improve epidermal permeability barrier function and induce the epidermal keratinocyte differentiation via PPAR a. Using Masson-trichrome and elastic fiber staining, we observed collagen thickening and elastic fiber elongation by UA and ONA treatments. In vitro results of collagen and elastin synthesis and elastase inhibitory activity measurements were also confirmed in vivo findings. These data suggested that the effects of UA and ONA related to not only epidermal permeability barrier functions but also dermal collagen and elastic fiber synthesis. Taken together, UA and ONA can be relevant candidates to improve epidermal and dermal functions and pertinent agents for cosmeseutical applications.

      • P283 : Teledermatologic consultation using smartphone multimedia messaging service for common skin diseases in Korean army

        Background: Telemedicine is considered to be useful in dermatologic field because visual inspection, the most important examination to make a diagnosis of skin disease, is easily presented through teledermatology system. Objectives: To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of teledermatologic consultation using Smartphone multimedia messaging service (MMS) for the common skin diseases in the army. Methods: The clinical images of skin lesions were obtained from 100 patients who visited the out-patient clinic of the military hospital using digital camera built in Smartphone. Those images and clinical information of each patient were sent to three remote dermatologists by using MMS application of Smartphone. Three teledermatologists made their own diagnoses independently. The diagnoses made by teledermatologists were compared with those obtained by face-to-face examination as the gold standard. Results: There was a 70.7±0.9% diagnostic agreement between the primary diagnosis of face-to-face exam and mobile exams. The sensitivity were 78.3±0.0%, 88.1±11.9%, and 60.6±6.1% in the case of eczema, viral warts, and fungal infection respectively. The specificity was 93.1±3.0%, 99.6±0.4%, and 98.1±1.0% in the same order respectively. Conclusion: The diagnostic accuracy of teledermatologic consultation using Smartphone was fair with high specificity. However the physicians should take into account that its sensitivity is rather low and the diagnosis does not match with face-to-face exam perfectly.
