Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP) is an autoimmune bleeding disorder characterized by the development of antibodies to one's own platelets, which are then destroyed by phagocytosis in the spleen and liver. Its clinical manifestations are characterized by bleeding and the most serious complication is hemorrhage into the central nervous system, but which is rarely seen below 1%. In treating IPT, the therapy of first chice is administration of adrenocorticosteroid and r-globuline. If satisfactory results are not obtained, then splenectomy is recommended. If this also proves inadequate, then administration of immunosuppressants is carried out. 16-year-old male was admitted with complaints of left hemiplegia and nasal bleeding. This case may be developed spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage causing thrombocytopenia and was treated by steroid, r-globuline and splenectomy, but satisfactory results are not obtained. After all, the paient was successfully treated with cyclophosphamide.

강원도 인제군 남면 원대리 자연습지를 대상으로 1999년 4월부터 동년 10월까지 관속식물상을 조사한 결과 71과 175속 228종 1아종 33변종 3품종, 총 265종류가 분포하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 가운데 갈대, 달뿌리풀, 삿갓사초, 골풀, 구릿대, 버드나무 등의 수생 및 관속식물은 19과 24속 31종 5변종 1품종, 총 37종류가 분포하고 있었다. 본 조사지역내 식생의 특성을 파악하기 위해 식물사회학적조사를 실시한 결과 갈대군락, 갯버들-횐물봉선아군락, 조팝나무-사철쑥아군락으로 분류되었다. This study was to estabilish the composition and vegetation of vascular plants on natural mashes in Wondae-ri(710m; 37˚ 58' 30" N, 128˚ 12' 15" E). This work was conducted from April to October, 1999. Vascular plants were composed of 71 families, 175 genera, 228 species, 1 subspecies, 33 varieties and 3 formae, totaling 265 taxa. Among the investigated vascular plants, 19 families, 24 genera, 31 species, 5 varieties 1 formae, totaling 37 taxa(13.9%) were hydrophytes and hygrophytes. The forest vegetation was classified Into 1 community and 2 subcommunities ; A.Phragmites japonica community A-1.Salix gracilistyla-Impatiens noli-tangere subcommunity A-2.Spiraea prunifolia var. simpliciflora-Artemisia capillaries subcommunity Key words : natural mashes, hydrophytes and hygrophytes
타리비드 정(오플록사신 100㎎)에 대한 파비드 정의 생물학적동등성

The purpose of the present study was designed to evaluate the bioequivalence of two ofloxacin tablets, Tarivid (Jell Pharm. Co., Ltd.) and Favid (ILHWA Co., Ltd.), according to the guidelines of Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). Twenty-four normal male volunteers, 23.67±3.12 year in age and 68.50±7.23 kg in body weight, were divided into two groups and a randomized 2x2 cross-over study was employed. After four tablets containing 100 mg of ofloxacin were orally administered, blood was taken at predetermined time intervals and concentrations of ofloxacin in plasma were deter mined using HPLC. Pharmacokinetic parameters such as AUC_(t) and T_(max) were calculated and ANOVA test was utilized for the statistical analysis of the parameters using logarithmically transformed AUC_(t), and C_(max) and untransformed T_(max). There were no sequence effects between two formulations in these parameters. The 90% confidence intervals for the log transformed data were acceptance range of log 0.8 to log 1.25 (e.g., log 0.94-log 1.04 and log 0.90-log 1.07 for AUC_(t) and C_(max) respectively). The major parameters. AUC_(t) and C_(max) met the criteria of KDFA for bioequivalence indicating that Favid tablet is bioequivalent to Tarivid tablet.
YAG 결정에 첨가된 Tm^3+와 Ho^3+이온의 형광 메카니즘 분석

The fluorescence characteristics of Tm3+ and Ho3+ ions in YAG crystal were investi- gated by using the high-resolution laser spectroscopy. The emission, excitation, power dependence and lifetime measurements were performed. The upconverted and downconverted fluorescence in the range from IR to UV were observed under the excitation into the 3F2 state of Tm3+ and the 5F5 state of Ho3+. The sequential two- photon excitation process (STEP) and energy transfer upconversion (ETU) are dominant mechanisms for the upconversion fluorescence in this system.
