유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도, 사회적 지지, 양육효능감 및 정서표현성 간의 구조관계분석 = An analysis of structural relationships among the marriage satisfaction, social support, parenting efficacy and emotional expressiveness of the mother with younger children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도, 사회적 지지, 양육효능감 및 정서표현성 간의 구조관계분석

An Analysis of Structural Relationships among the Marriage Satisfaction, Social Support, Parenting Efficacy and Emotional Expressiveness of the Mother with Younger Children

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도, 사회적 지지, 양육효능감 및 정서표현성 간의 구조적인 인과관계와 직·간접효과를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다.
본 연구의 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도, 사회적 지지, 양육효능감은 정서표현성에 직접적인 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도, 사회적 지지는 양육효능감에 직접적인 영향을 미치는가? 셋째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도는 양육효능감을 매개로 정서표현성에 간접적인 영향을 미치는가? 넷째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 사회적 지지는 양육효능감을 매개로 정서표현성에 간접적인 영향을 미치는가?
이러한 연구문제를 위해 부산광역시 및 경상남도에 소재하는 유치원 8곳의 만3∼5세 자녀를 둔 어머니 1,089명을 대상으로 검사를 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 702명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 수집된 자료는 AMOS 20.0을 이용하여 구조적 관계 분석을 실시하였다. 검사도구는 Halberstadt, Cassidy, Stifer, Parke 그리고 Fox(1995)가 제작한 가정에서의 자기표현 질문지(Self-Expressiveness in the Family Questionnaire)를 한영민(2005)이 번안한 정서표현성 검사, Snyder(1979)의 결혼만족도 검사도구를 권혜정, 채규만(1999)이 한국 실정에 맞게 수정, 보완하여 표준화한 결혼만족도 검사, Cohen와 Hoberman(1983)의 사회적 지지 척도를 바탕으로 박지원(1985)이 개발한 척도를 황윤경(1995)이 수정․보완한 사회적 지지 검사, 최형성(2001)이 개발하여 최형성과 정옥분(2001)이 유아용에 맞게 수정한 양육효능감 검사를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과와 논의를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도, 사회적 지지, 양육효능감은 정서표현성에 직접적인 효과가 있다.
둘째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도와 사회적 지지는 양육효능감에 직접적인 효과가 있다.
셋째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도는 양육효능감을 매개로 정서표현성에 간접적인 효과가 있다.
넷째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 사회적 지지는 양육효능감을 매개로 정서표현성에 간접적인 효과가 있다.
본 연구는 선행연구에서 다루지 않았던 어머니의 결혼만족도, 사회적 지지 및 양육효능감과 정서표현성 간의 구조회귀모델을 개발하고, 이러한 구조적 관계가 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 정서표현성에 직·간접효과가 있음을 입증하였으며, 다차원적 부모교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 방향을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
