정서표현갈등, 사회적 지지지각, 대처방식, 그리고 우울 및 불안과의 관계 = (A) study on relationships among ambivalence over emotional expression, perception of social support, and the way of coping on depression and anxiety

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 정서표현갈등이 우울 및 불안에 미치는 영향에 대해서 사회적 지지지각과 대처방식의 매개 효과를 검증하였다.
본 연구의 모델은 정서표현갈등이 사회적 지지지각과 대처방식을 각각으로 매개하여 우울 및 불안을 예언할 것이라는 제 1 매개모형과, 정서표현갈등이 사회적 지지지각과 대처방식을 단선적으로 완전 매개해서 우울 및 불안을 예언할 것이라는 제 2 매개모형을 비교해보았다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기, 충청지역에 소재하고 있는 4년제 7개 대학의 남학생 213명 여학생 267명, 총 480명을 대상으로 정서표현갈등, 사회적 지지지각, 대처방식, 우울 및 불안 수준을 측정하기 위한 질문지를 실시하였다. 분석방법은 구조방정식 모형 접근법(EQS)을 이용한 경로 분석을 하였다.
연구 결과, 정서표현갈등이 우울 및 불안과의 관계에서 사회적 지지지각과 대처방식이 각각으로 매개한 경로모형이 정서표현갈등이 사회적 지지지각과 대처방식을 단선적으로 완전 매개하여 우울 및 불안으로 가는 경로모형보다는 더 적합한 모형으로 확인되었다.
본 연구는 대학상담장면에서 내담자의 정서표현갈등이 우울 및 불안과 같은 부적응적 증상들간의 관계를 이해하는데 있어, 상담자가 내담자의 사회적 지지지각과 대처방식을 고려하는 하는 것이 더욱 명확하게 내담자의 심리적 상태를 이해하는데 도움이 되리라 시사된다. 끝으로 본 연구가 지니는 의의와 상담에서의 함의, 제한점을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to verify two mediation models. The 1 model was that ambivalence over emotional expression influence on depression and anxiety having perception of social support and the way of coping as each mediating path. The 2 model was that ambivalence over emotional expression influence on depression and anxiety having perception of social support and the way of coping in sequence.
For the study, 480 university students were questioned of their ambivalence over emotional expression, perception of social support, the way of coping, depression, and anxiety. The path analysis method of EQS was employed for analysis.
Results is as follows : The 1 model was proved more approximate model than the 2 model.
The results of this study demonstrate the way that counselors consider client's perception of social support and the way of coping would be clearer to understand client's psychological state when client's ambivalence over emotional expression relates to maladjustment symptom like as depression and anxiety in university counseling situation. In the concluding part, the significance and limits of the study and implications of the counseling were discussed.
