유아와 어머니 정서성, 어머니의 정서사회화 행동 및 유아 정서조절간의 구조 분석 = A Structural Model Analysis of the Relationships among Children's Emotionality, Mother's Emotionality, Mother's Emotion-Related Socialization Behaviors and Children's Emotion Regulation

This study examined the relation between children's emotionality, mother's emotionality, mother's emotion-related socialization behaviors and children's emotion regulation and mediating effect of mother's emotion-related socialization behaviors to these relations. Data were collected through conducting a survey of child's mothers and early childhood center's teachers.
An analysis of the data reveals that children and mother's emotionality has not direct influence on children’s emotion regulation. The emotional expression and emotion reaction among mother's emotion-related socialization behaviors had direct effect on children's emotion regulation. The mediating effect of the mother's emotion expression and emotion reaction was significant.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아 정서조절 발달에서 어머니의 정서사회화 과정의 중요성을 인식하고, 어머니의 정서사회화 관련 행동이 유아와 어머니의 정서성과 유아의 정서조절에 미치는 매개효과를 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 서울, 경기, 충청, 전라 지역의 유아교육기관 만 5세 유아의 어머니 526명과 교사 33명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 유아와 어머니의 정서성이 유아의 정서조절에 미치는 직접적인 영향력은 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 어머니의 정서사회화 관련 행동 중 정서표현과 정서지도는 유아의 정서조절에 직․간접적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 어머니의 정서표현과 정서지도는 유아와 어머니의 정서성과 유아 정서조절간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다.
