모애착과 학교생활적응의 관계에서 자기조절능력의 매개효과 검증 = The Mediating effects of The Self-control Ability in the relationship of Mother Attachments and School Life Adjustment of Elementary School Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초등학생의 학교생활적응에 있어 모애착과 자기조절능력이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 자기조절능력이 모애착과 학교생활적응의 관계에 미치는 매개효과를 알아보았다. 연구대상은 인천광역시에 소재하는 초등학교 5개교 5ㆍ6학년 남녀 학생 612명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였고 그중 595명의 설문지 결과를 분석하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS WIN 12.0과 AMOS 4.0을 사용하였다. 모애착, 자기조절능력, 학교생활적응능력 간의 관계를 파악하기 위해 상관분석을 설시하였고, 자기조절능력의 매개효과를 파악하기 위해 구조방정식을 이용하여 매개모형을 검증하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모애착, 자기조절능력은 초등학생의 학교생활적응 능력과 정적 상관이 있어 모애착이 안정적일수록 자기조절능력이 우수하였고, 학교생활적응도 잘 하였다. 둘째, 모애착은 자기조절능력을 매개로 하여 학교생활적응능력에 영향을 주었다. 모형검증 과정에서 모애착은 학교생활적응능력에 직접적 영향 뿐 아니라 자기조절능력을 매개로 학교생활적응에도 영향을 주었기 때문에 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research examined how these two factors, elementary school students' mother attachments and self control ability have influence on their school life adjustment and how their self control ability has an mediating effect on the relationship between mother attachments and school life adjustment. Six hundred and twelve students in the 5th and 6th grade of 5 elementary schools in Incheon Metropolitan City were surveyed and of these 595 cases were analyzed. The data was processed by SPSS WIN 12.0 and AMOS 4.0. Correlation analysis was used to find out the relationships between mother attachments, self-control ability and school adjustment. Finally, the structural equating model was verified to figure out the self-control ability as the mediation. The results of this study are as follows. First, the more mother attachments are stable, the more self-control ability is. And the more mother attachments are stable, the easier the students adjust themselves to school life. Self-control ability can easily be predicted through communication and sense of alienation which are dependent variables of the mother attachments. Second, mother attachments had a influence on school adjustment ability by the medium of the self-control ability. In the process of the structural equating model verification, it was confirmed a partial mediation effect that mother attachments had direct influence on school adjustment ability as well as indirect effect on school adjustment by the medium of the self-control ability. Based on the these results, implications and limitations of the present study were discussed.
