        Evaluation of Antioxidant Activities and Active Compounds Separated from Water Soluble Extracts of Korean Black Pine Barks

        Black pine barks from the southern region of Korea were extracted using pressurized hot water and the water soluble extracts were then separated in a stepwise fashion using a variety of solvents, column chromatography (CC), thin layer chromatography (TLC), and high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). The antioxidant activities of each fraction and the active compounds were determined based on the radical scavenging activities of 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), reductive potential of ferric ion, and total phenol contents. A DPPH test showed that the half maximal effective concentration ($EC_{50}$ value : $6.59{\pm}0.31\;{\mu}g/mL$) of the ethyl acetate fraction (ca. 0.67%) was almost the same as that of the control compounds and inversely proportional to the value of the total phenol contents. The cell viability of the water extracts was confirmed by methyl thiazol-2-yl-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) with enzyme linked immune sorbent assay (ELISA). Catechin, epicatechin, quercetin and ferulic acid were isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction as active compounds and identified by nuclear magnetic resonance. The antioxidant activity as value of DPPH of each of the separated compounds was lower than the ethyl acetate fraction, and ferulic acid was the lowest among these compounds.

      • The Robust Gait of a Tilt-rotor and Its Application to Tracking Control -- Application of Two Color Map Theorem

        Ryll’s tilt-rotor is a UAV with eight inputs; the four magnitudes of the thrusts as well as four tilting angles of the thrusts can be specified in need, e.g., based on a control rule. Despite of the success in simulation, conventional feedback linearization witnesses the over-intensive change in the inputs while applying to stabilize Ryll’s tilt-rotor. Our previous research thus puts the extra procedure named gait plan forward to suppress the unexpected changes in the tilting angles. Accompanying with Two Color Map Theorem, the tilting angles are planned robustly and continuously. The designed gaits are robust to the change of the attitude. However, this is not a complete theory before applying to the tracking simulation test. This paper further discusses some gaits following Two Color Map Theorem and simulates a tracking problem for a tilt-rotor. A uniform circular moving reference is designed to be tracked by the tilt-rotor equipped with the designed robust gait and the feedback linearization controller. The planned gaits satisfying Two Color Map Theorem in this research show the robustness. The results from the simulation show the success in tracking of the tiltrotor.

        Optimal Design for Cooling System of Batteries Using DOE and RSM

        A hybrid power composed of fuel cell and batteries has become the good strategy for HEV. On the contrary, the produced heat of batteries can affect to the total performance of HEV significantly. In this study, simulation methods with optimization were developed for obtaining the high performance cooling system of batteries. At first, a numerical method for obtaining the temperature distribution of batteries was developed by using CFD. In the following step, several parameters were investigated for selecting design variables with the important effect on the performance of the cooling system of batteries. Finally, an optimization method based on DOE and RSM was obtained through a real optimal design. There was 21.1% reduction on the view of the root mean square temperature between batteries as shown in the optimization result. The developed analysis with optimization can be used to improve the performance of the cooling system of batteries, and these works have made the theoretical basis for simulation and optimization of the cooling system of batteries.

        Controlling the Precursor Morphology of Ni-rich Li(Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1)O2 Cathode for Lithium-ion Battery

        Ni-rich Li(Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1)O2 cathode material is widely recognized as one of the most cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries due to its high specific capacity, high energy density and low cost. In this paper, the NCM cathode material precursor Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1(OH)2 was prepared by coprecipitation method and the optimum experimental conditions were investigated. The effects of water bath temperature on the electrochemical performances of the prepared materials were investigated by controlling the morphology. The results showed that 60 ℃ was the best bath temperature for the precursor which has a regular spheroidal morphology and uniform particles with the diameter of 10 μm. After coprecipitation, the samples calcined under oxygen atmosphere displayed good electrochemical properties. The discharge specific capacity is up to 194 mA · h · g -1 and 134 mA · h · g -1 at 0.2 ℃ and 5 ℃, respectively. The initial coulombic efficiency is 87.57% at 0.2 ℃.

        한,중 민족지영화의서사양식 비교 연구: KBS < 차마고도 >와 YNTV < 차마고도 >를 중심으로

        KBS에서 2007년에 제작한 6부작 < 차마고도 >와 YNTV**에서 2006년에 제작한 8부작 < 차마고도 >는 차마고도(茶馬古道)라는 중국의 역사·문화적 소재를 다룬 민족지영화이다. 그런데 인류학적 관점과 영상학적 관점에서 자기 나라 또는 다른 나라의 전통문화를 바라보는 시각이 다르고, 나라 간의 제작 이념이나 제작 목표, 제작진의 구성과 설비 투입 등이 다름에 따라 비록 동일한 소재를 다룬 민족지영화라 할지라도 접근방식이나 서사전략 등에서 다른 특성을 나타낼 수밖에 없다. 지금껏 한국과 중국의 민족지영화를 비교 연구한 결과가 거의 없는 실정에 비춰, 본 논문에서는 빌 니콜스가 분류한 다큐멘터리의 서사양식 가운데서 설명적 양식, 관찰자적 양식, 참여적 양식의 특점에 비추어, 동일한 제목으로 된 KBS < 차마고도 >와 YNTV < 차마고도 >를 중심으로, 한국과 중국의 민족지영화의 서사양식을 비교분석하는 것을 통하여 두 나라의 민족지영화가 제작에서 어떤 차이를 보이었고 나아가 KBS < 차마고도 >가 ‘구제인류학’에 입각한 민족지영화가 되고 YNTV < 차마고도 >가 ‘복원주의 인류학’에 입각한 민족지영화가 되었는지를 밝혀보고자 한다. The film named Asian Corridor in Heaven, which consists of 6 parts, was produced by KBS in 2007. The eight-part film, The Ancient Tea Route, ,was produced by YNTV in 2006. They are both ethnographic films about the historical culture of China. However, according to the view of anthropology and imaging, although their object and materials are the same, they are different in many aspects such as their methods of approach and description strategy. Because of the cinematography, the concept and the goal of production, the composition of the production staff and the instrument are all different. Up to now the comparative study between the ethnographic films of China and Korea has almost no result. In this paper, according to the feature of expository mode, observational mode, participatory mode, which are among the narrative modes of documentary that Bill Nichols classified, I`d like to clarify the difference in the production of ethnographic films between China and Korea by means of a comparative study about the narrative mode of two countries` ethnographic films focusing on the two films of the same name. Further more, the film named Asian Corridor in Heaven produced by KBS is classified into ethnographic films because it is based on salvage anthropology. While The ancient Tea Route produced by YNTV is also regarded as ethnographic film because of its restoration anthropology basement.

        조직구성원의 사회적 자본이 경력성공, 영향력 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향

        본 연구에서는 조직구성원의 사회적 자본을 내부친교 네트워크(IF), 내부과업 네트워크(IT), 외부친교 네트워크(EF), 및 외부과업 네트워크(ET) 등 4가지 네트워크에 기반으로 한 하위차원을 포함하는 구성개념으로 정의하고, 조직구성원의 사회적 자본이 경력성공, 영향력 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 실증적 연구를 수행하였다. 중국의 북경과 상해를 중심으로 21개 기업체 468명 종업원으로부터 수집한 설문조사 자료를 근거로 분석을 실행한 결과 사회적 자본이 조직구성원의 경력성공, 영향력, 및 조직몰입을 설명하는 요인으로 그 영향이 검증되었다. 구체적으로 사회적 자본과 경력성공의 관계에서 사회적 자본의 IF와 EF 하위차원은 직무, 관계, 경제, 계층, 및 생활 등 경력성공의 5가지 하위차원 모두에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 반면, IT는 관계성공에만 영향이 있었고 ET는 경력성공을 설명하지 못했다; 사회적 자본과 영향력의 관계에서 역시 IF와 EF는 상사 및 동료에 대한 영향력에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, IT는 영향력의 2가지 하위차원 변수에 한계적인(marginal) 영향을, 그리고 ET는 영향이 없었다. 사회적 자본과 조직몰입의 관계에서는 사회적 자본의 IF 하위차원만 정서몰입과 규범몰입에 영향을 미쳤다. In this study, we defined organizational social capital as a construct which include four sub-dimensions, such as internal friendship network(IF), internal task network(IT), external friendship network(EF), and external task network(ET), and we conducted an empirical study to test the impact of organizational members’ social capital on his/her career success, influence, and organizational commitment. We analyzed the questionnaire data collected from 468 samples of 21 firms in Bejing, Shanghai, and the other two cities in China, and found the results as follows: between social capital and career success, IF and EF sub-dimensions has positive effects on all of five dimensions of career success, including job, interpersonal, financial, hierarchical, and life success, but IT only positively related interpersonal success and the ET did not explained career success; between social capital and influence, IF and EF both had positive effects on influence on supervisors and on colleagues, IT had marginal effect on both of two influence variables, but ET had no effect on influence; between social capital and commitment, only IF sub-dimension of social capital had positive effects on affective and normative commitment.

        파자마 룩의 특성 및 2015 S/S~2017 F/W 디자인 특징

        최근 파자마 룩 스타일이 유행함에 따라 본 연구는 파자마 룩의 특성 및 2015 S/S~2017 F/W 디자인 특징에 대해 알아보는 것을 목적으로 파자마 룩에 대한 문헌 조사와 최근 주요 패션 컬렉션 및 사이트 등에 나타난 파자마 룩에 대한 사례분석을 하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 파자마 룩은 페미니즘, 자연주의, 미니멀리즘, 인본주의적인 특성을 가진다. 2015 S/S~2017 F/W 파자마 룩 디자인 특징에 있어서 소재는 실크가 편안하면서도 부드러운 감촉과 우아한 광택으로 유행의 선두에 있었다. 색상은 세분화된 소비자들의 수요에 맞게 다양한 색상이 폭넓게 사용되고 있었으며 특히, 전통적인 파자마 디자인에 많이 쓰이지 않았던 짙고 화려한 색상이 주를 이루었다. 무늬는 솔리드 패브릭과 큰 사이즈의 과감한 디자인이 병행하고 있었다. 형태 중 실루엣은 전형적인 H 실루엣의 여유 있는 핏이 주를 이루었고 칼라, 네크라인 깊이, 소매, 옷의 길이, 바지 통, 포켓 등의 디테일과 장식의 다양한 변화로 트렌드함을 강조하였다. 파자마 룩의 유행은 소비자의 다양한 선호 취향을 반영하는 것으로 긴장되고 바쁜 생활을 하는 현대인들이 선호하게 된 패션 라이프스타일에 연유한 것이다. 파자마 룩은 단순히 패션 디자인 측면에서의 변화가 아닌 의복 문화와 생활 방식에 대한 사람들의 사고를 심화시킨 인문 정신에 바탕을 둔 스타일이며, 그들의 관심과 선호에 초점을 맞출 수 있도록 하는 패션의 한 변화라 할 수 있다. With the current emergence of `pajama look`, this study attempted to investigate the features of pajama trend and characteristics of design from 2015 S/S to 2017 F/W. For this, literature review and case study were performed on the pajama styles in major fashion collections and websites. Then, the results found the followings: A pajama look contains feminine, naturalistic, minimalist and humanistic characteristics. In pajama styles from 2015 S/S to 2017 F/W, silk was on trend with comfort, smoothness and elegant gloss. In terms of color, a wide collection of colors were used to meet consumers` diverse needs and demand. In particular, dark and fancy colors which have been unusual in traditional pajama design were primarily used. In patterns, solid fabric and large and bold patterns were adopted. In terms of shape, a baggy style in typical H silhouette was the mainstream. With diverse changes in color, depth of neck plunge, sleeves, length of clothes, width of pants and pocket, a trendy style was emphasized. A pajama trend originates from modern people`s tense and hectic lifestyle, reflecting their diverse preferences. After all, a pajama look is a humanistic style which deepened people`s thoughts on clothing culture and lifestyles, not just change in fashion design. In other words, it is a part of change in fashion, which responds to their interests and preferences.
