Background: Both ginsenoside Re and B-complex vitamins are widely used as nutritional supplements. They are often taken together so as to fully utilize their antifatigue and refreshing effects, respectively. Whether actually a drugenutrient interaction exists between ginsenoside Re and B-complex vitamins is still unknown. The objective of this study was to simultaneously investigate the effect of B-complex vitamins on the antifatigue activity and bioavailability of ginsenoside Re after their oral administration. The study results will provide valuable theoretical guidance for the combined utilization of ginseng and B-complex vitamins. Methods: Ginsenoside Re with or without B-complex vitamins was orally administered to mice to evaluate its antifatigue effects and to rats to evaluate its bioavailability. The antifatigue activity was evaluated by the weight-loaded swimming test and biochemical parameters, including hepatic glycogen, plasma urea nitrogen, and blood lactic acid. The concentration of ginsenoside Re in plasma was determined by liquid chromatographyetandem mass spectrometry. Results: No antifatigue effect of ginsenoside Re was noted when ginsenoside Re in combination with Bcomplex vitamins was orally administered to mice. B-complex vitamins caused to a reduction in the bioavailability of ginsenoside Re with the area under the concentrationetime curve from zero to infinity markedly decreasing from 11,830.85 2,366.47 h$ng/mL to 890.55 372.94 h$ng/mL. Conclusion: The results suggested that there were pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic drugenutrient interactions between ginsenoside Re and B-complex vitamins. B-complex vitamins can significantly weaken the antifatigue effect and decrease the bioavailability of ginsenoside Re when simultaneously administered orally.

Polypyrrole (PPy) coatings were successfully electrosynthesized on the carbon steel by embedding SnO2and Sb-SnO2 nanoparticles (NPs). The associated structural, morphology, hydrophobic, physicalproperties, anti-corrosion and self-healing performance of these coatings were systematically studiedby several tests. XRD results showed that SnO2 had a tetragonal rutile structure and the lattice parametersindicated that Sb ions were successful substituted into SnO2 lattice. The average size of SnO2 NPs wasdecreased by the incorporation of Sb-SnO2 NPs, which were found through TEM images. The contactangle test showed that the hydrophobic of PPy coatings was greatly enhanced by the incorporation of Sb-SnO2 NPs. SEM results revealed that Sb-SnO2/PPy coating exhibited a more compact and uniform surfacethan SnO2/PPy coating, hence the physical barrier effect was significantly strengthened. Theelectrochemical measurements confirmed the excellent anti-corrosion and self-healing ability of Sb-SnO2/PPy coating for a long immersion time in HCl solution. The superior anti-corrosion performance ofSb-SnO2/PPy coating was ascribed to the synergistic effects of the anodic protection combined with theself-healing effect, the excellent physical barrier effect with compact, smooth and hydrophobic coatingsurface as well as the formation of p-n junction with decreased charge transfer.
중국 그림자금융이 상업은행의 안정성에 미치는 영향 -수익성과 유동성을 중심으로-

본 연구는 중국 그림자금융의 규모가 확대됨에 따라 상업은행의 안정성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대한 것이다. 기존 선행연구에서 제시된 대부분의 연구방법이 중국 그림자금융규모의 측정 또는 그림자금융이 상업은행의 수익성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 확인하는 것이었다면 본 연구의 목적은 그림자금융이 수익성에 미치는 효과에 그치지 않고 더 나아가 유동성리스크를 초래하게 할 수 있는 요인을 찾아내는 데에 있다고 하겠다. 중국 그림자금융이 상업은행의 수익성에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 총자산수익률을 종속변수로 하고, 당해와 전년 그림자금융규모, GDP증가율, 비이자 수익비율, 예대비율, 부실채권비율을 독립변수로 선정해 상관관계를 실증분석 하였다.분석결과 예대비율,부실채권비율은 수익성에 부(-)의 영향을 미치고 비이자 수익비율은 수익성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며 통계적으로 유의하다. 그리고 중국그림자금융이 상업은행의 안정성에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 유동성리스크를 결정할 수 있는 요인을 분석해 보았다. 분석결과 총자산수익률은 유동성리스크에부(-)의 영향을 미치고, 당해 그림자금융 규모의 증가율, GDP증가율, 화폐공급량은 유동성리스크에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 결과는 통계적으로 유의할 뿐만 아니라 경제논리에도 부합함을 보여주고 있다. This study explored the impact of the expansion of China``s shadow banking on the commercial banks`` stability. The previous studies were either the measurement of the shadow banking``s scale or the exploration of the imp act on the profitability of commercial banks. This study, however, focused on the exploration of the factors resulting in the liquidity risk. This study employed ROA as the dependent variables, the shadow banking``s scale of the current and the previous year, GDP growth rate, non-interest income ratio, loan to deposit ratio, non-performing loan(NPL) ratio an d M2 as the independent variables to indicate the impact on the commercial bank``s profitability. The research findings are as below; Firstly, the loan to deposit ratio and the NPL ratio have negative impact on the profitability, while the non-interest income ratio has positive impact. Secondly, ROA has the negative impact on the liquidity risk, while the growth rate of the current year``s shadow banking scale, GDP growth rate and the M2 have the positive impact.

Aristoyunnolin H is a novel aristophyllenesesquiterpenoid isolated from the traditional Chinese medicineAristolochia yunnanensis Franch. The presentresearch was designed to explore the anti-fibrotic effects ofaristoyunnolin H in adult rat cardiac fibroblasts (CFs)stimulated with angiotensin II (Ang II). Western blotanalysis data showed that aristoyunnolin H reduced theupregulation of fibronectin (FN), connective tissue growthfactor and collagen I(Col I) production induced by Ang II inCFs. By studying the dynamic intracellular changes ofCa2?, we further found that while aristoyunnolin H relievedthe calcium influx, it has no effect on intracellular calciumstore release. Meanwhile, aristoyunnolin H also inhibitedthe Ang II-stimulated phosphorylation of Ca2?/calmodulindependentprotein kinase II. In conclusion, aristoyunnolin Hmay attenuate extracellular matrix secretion in vitro byinhibiting Ang II-induced calcium signaling.

The ionic liquids, 1-vinyl-3-aminopropylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([VAIM][PF6]) and 1-vinyl-3-aminopropylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([VAIM][BF4]) acted as the corrosion inhibitors. Weight lossmeasurements showed the corrosion inhibition efficiencies of [VAIM][PF6] and [VAIM][BF4] were 90.53%and 54.01% at 45 C, respectively. The ILs were mix-type inhibitors. Raising the temperature can have adecreased inhibition efficiency of [VAIM][BF4], while [VAIM][PF6] presented an opposite trend. Inaddition, [VAIM][PF6] obeyed Langmuir monolayer adsorption isotherm, while [VAIM][BF4] obeyed EIAwadykinetic-thermodynamic adsorption for blocking active sites. Moreover, Molecular DynamicSimulations showed that [VAIM][PF6] owned a higher adsorption energy, which may be responsible forthe more adsorption groups of [VAIM][PF6].
Optimizations of Canny Edge Detection in Ghost Imaging

An optimization of the Canny edge detector’s application in ghost imaging is presented. Based on the pseudo-thermal light ghost imaging scheme with a binary object, a thin and accurate edge map can be extracted by using a Gaussian-filtering-optimized Canny edge detector. The scale of the Gaussian filter in Canny edge detection algorithm is the dominate factor in the performance of the edge detector, and can be evaluated by the bit error rate of reconstructed binary image based on the edge map. Simulation results indicate the optimal window size of Gaussian filter for ghost imaging is proportional to the full width at half maximum of the self-correlation function in the idler arm samples without any priori knowledge of the object. Experimental results show that, with an appropriate Gaussian filter, the reconstructed binary image can approach the original binary object with the minimum bit error rate, which means the edge detection result is optimal.
