        Numerical and Experimental Study on Anti-slipping Performance of Cable Clamp for Two-Way Orthogonal Full Locked Coil Cables

        The cable structure has been widely adopted in some engineering applications. Cable clamp and its anti-slipping performance is the key factor to assure the bearing capacity for cable structure. This paper is concerned with the slipping resistance between cable clamp and Z shape full locked coil cables in a two-way orthogonal cable-net structure. Firstly, a new method for laboratory test of the clamp is designed, which is carried out under cable tension. The clamping force of high-strength bolt and the pushing force are monitored in real time. According to force reaction–displacement graphs obtained from the test, the reasonable anti-slipping ultimate frictional force of the clamp is determined and the precise friction coeffi cient of the clamp is calculated by the data from real-time monitoring. Finally, through the simulation analysis of nonlinear fi nite element model, the results are basically consistent with the laboratory test. The proposed method can be extended to solve anti-slipping problems of similar cable clamps.

        Study on the Convergence Experience of “Five senses” in Furniture Design

        The 21st century is an era of rapid development of world economy and technology, an era of highly developed human material culture, and an era of high demand for human spiritual experience. However, in order to meet the initial basic needs of human beings, the standardized batch design and production of furniture products, which are most closely related to human life, making the functions of furniture products more and more single. Consumers’ unilateral sensory stimulation of basic functions has gradually lost its aesthetic power. The products that can attract consumers’ attention or purchase, are not only practical in material aspects, but also spiritual in satisfying various sensory stimulation. Explore the emotional design method of modern furniture, based on the experience of five senses, enrich the design theory system of furniture products, better guide the future furniture design practice with the experience of five senses as the core, make furniture design products more in line with the needs of social development, and make people’s body and mind have more sensory interaction with furniture products. Through the analysis of literature and materials, starting from the concept of five senses, this paper expounds the application enlightenment of "five senses" experience in book design, packaging design and landscape design, and explores the innovative design ideas and methods of multiple experiences in furniture design from "five senses" - visual representation, auditory response, tactile sensation, olfactory imagination and taste perception. Finally, the case questionnaire survey and results analysis. In the diversified functional design of furniture, realizing the interactive five-sense experience, developing the design concept of furniture products, and increasing the competitive advantage of furniture products in the market, will not only contribute to the personalized innovation and development of modern furniture, but also meet the growing spiritual needs of consumers in the market environment of experience economy.

        Accumulative Traction Construction Analysis of the FAST Cable-net Structure

        Considering the distinctive structural features and complex construction aspects of the five-hundred-meter aperture spherical radio telescope (FAST), this paper proposes the accumulative traction of serial cable construction technology (ATSC). This method makes full use of the guiding function and load-bearing capacity of guide ropes, which are simple and inexpensive, and the setting of catwalks is avoided. The entire ATSC process is divided into several static cases, and the NDFEM form-finding method is introduced to obtain the structural response of each case. Based on the principle of the constant total unstressed length of guide-rope elements, two strategies and a varying multiplication coefficient, λ, are introduced, and the “element length recursive multiplication” strategy is found to excel in terms of the analysis efficiency. Additionally, the total unstressed length of the guide-rope elements is set to three different values to determine the configuration trends. The results show that the most unfavorable configuration of guide ropes exists in initial cases and that the optimal unstressed length of the guide rope lies at an intermediate value between the total unstressed length of the serial main cables and the straight-line distance between the two endpoints of the guide rope for FAST.

        충칭 지하철역 공간의 지역 문화 표현에 관한 연구

        지하철의 신속함과 시간이 정확한 특징으로 시민들의 이동수단 1순위로 자리잡았다. 지하철 건설이 활발해지면서 지하철역도 늘고 있었다. 그런데 획일적인 지하철역 공간은 독특한 시각인식이나 지역 인식성이 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 자지역문화가 특정 시기에 자연적 요인과 사회적 요인 등에 의해 형성된 일종의 문화기호와 문화축소를 밝히고 자지역문화와 지하철역 공간이 상호 보완할 수 있는 관계를 분석하여 지하철역 공간의 문화적 표현의 독특성을 높인다. 이어 현지 사례조사법을 적용하여 충칭(重慶)의 지하철 노선 5개, 총 13개의 지하철역을 분석·연구했다. 인터넷 정보를 바탕으로 지하철역 6개 설문조사를 했다. 조사결과에 따르면 특정 문화 주제의 지하철 공간 설계를 지지하는 응답자는 90.6%로 나타났다. 지하철 공간에서 나타난 지역문화에 대해 순위를 매긴 결과는 자기구(磁器口)역만 지역 문화를 갖고 있다는 것과 다른 역은 지역 문화가 있지만 헷갈리기 쉬운 것으로 나타났다. 지하철 공간에서 지역문화의 표현에 대해 만족한다는 응답은 12.78%에 그쳤다. 그리고 23.68%는 지하철 공간의 문화디자인을 꼼꼼히 살펴본다고 답했다. 아울러 미래 충칭(重慶) 지하철역에서의 지역문화에 대한 조사는 인터랙티브 체험장치를 통한 동적 표현(65.23%), 정태적 표현(68.23%)이였다. 따라서 조사결과에 따르면 기존 지하철 노선에 표식된 색깔과 문화주제를 참조하여 제시한다. 그리고 '하나의 중심선'의 방향으로 충칭(重慶) 지하철역 공간의 문화 표현에 대한 디자인 아이디어를 제공하고, 지하철역마다 통일되고 차별화된 지역문화를 형성할 수 있도록 하였다. The fast speed and punctuality of which have made the subway become the preferred means of transportation for citizens. With the continuous improvement of subway construction, the number of subway stations is gradually increasing while the monotonous subway station space lacks unique visual recognition and regional recognition. The purpose of this paper explains that the regional culture is a kind of cultural symbol and microcosm formed under the influence of natural and social factors in a specific period, and analyzes the complementary relationship between regional culture and subway station space, so as to enhance the uniqueness of regional cultural expression in subway station space. Then, using the method of field case study, this paper analyzes and studies five subway lines in Chongqing, a total of 13 stations. And according to network information screening, six subway stations are surveyed through questionnaire. The survey finds that 90.6% of respondents support the subway space design with a specific cultural theme. After the expression of regional culture in the subway space is ranked and scored, the results show that Ciqikou Station has regional cultural characteristics. Only 12.78% of respondents are very satisfied with the regional cultural expression of the subway station space. 23.68% of respondents say that they will appreciate the cultural design of the subway space. As to the expression of regional culture in Chongqing subway station space in the future, 65.23% of respondents hope that it can be expressed through dynamic interactive experience devices and 68.23% of them prefer static interactive experience devices. According to the survey results, it is proposed to referring to the iconic color and cultural theme of the existing subway lines, and to provide design ideas for the cultural expression of Chongqing subway station space in the direction of “One main line”, and to make subway stations of each subway line form a unified and distinct regional cultural content.

      • Analysis of Port Hopping for Proactive Cyber Defense

        Port hopping is a typical proactive cyber defense technology, which hides the service identity and confuses attackers during reconnaissance by constantly altering service ports. Although several kinds of port hopping mechanisms have been proposed and implemented, but it is still unknown how effective port hopping is and under what circumstances it is a viable moving target defense because the existed works are limited and they usually discuss only a few parameters. Besides, in many cases the defense effectiveness has been studied empirically. In order to have an insight into the effectiveness of port hopping, this paper introduces a quantitative analysis based on the urn model, which quantifies the probability of attacker success in terms of port pool size, number of probes, number of vulnerable services, and hopping frequency. Theoretical analysis shows that port hopping is an effective and promising proactive defense technology in thwarting cyber attacks.

        Performance of Cross‑Linked Polyethylene Insulated Cable Based on Detection of High Voltage Electric Field

        High voltage direct current transmission has been widely used in long-distance power transmission because of its advantages such as low loss and large throughput. The safety of cable is very important in the long-distance transmission process. Cross-linked polyethylene insulated cable has the advantages of simple manufacture, good heat resistance and easy installation; therefore it has been widely used in long-distance power transmission. In this study, conductance, dielectric and voltage withstanding performance of the insulating layers of cross-linked polyethylene cables with working voltage of 220 kV which was never used and has been used for 2, 4, 6 and 8 years were tested by various evaluation methods. The conductivity of the insulating layers was affected by temperature only under high and low electric field intensities and wasaffected by temperature and electric field strength under middle electric field intensity. Dielectric loss factor could reflect dielectric properties of materials; the larger the dielectric loss factor, the poorer the performance. The dielectric loss factor decreased with the increase of applied electric field frequency and increased with the increase of service years. Breakdown electric field strength could reflect voltage resistance of materials; the larger the breakdown electric field strength, the better the performance. The breakdown electric field strength was inversely proportional to the service years of the insulating layer, and the decrease amplitude increased significantly when the service time exceeded 2 years. In summary, cross-linked polyethylene insulated material satisfies the safety requirement of high voltage direct current transmission and can be usedfor manufacturing long-distance transmission cables.

        De novo genome assembly and annotation of Holothuria scabra (Jaeger, 1833) from nanopore sequencing reads

        Background: Holothuria scabra is a costly gourmet and traditional Chinese tonic medicine. However, the lack of high-quality genome information hinders the genetic, phylogenetic, and bioactivator researches. Objective: To construct high-quality genomic data of H. scabra and conduct genome-wide phylogenetic analysis. Methods: The whole genome of a male H. scabra was sequenced based on Nanopore MinION platform, and the sequence was assembled by wtdbg2. Transcriptome sequencing was used to aid the gene annotation. Repeat sequences, non-coding RNA, pseudogene and gene functional annotation were analyzed. 750 single-copy gene families from ten species were applied to construct phylogenetic tree for evolutionary analysis by using the ML method. Results: The H. scabra genome of 1.18 Gb (N50 = 1557,492 bp) with 500.42 Mb of putative repetitive sequences was assembled from a male H. scabra individual, and 16,642 protein-coding genes, 951 pseudogenes, 1791 motifs and 45,400 domains from the generated assembly were identified. The divergence time between H. scabra and its ancestor was estimated approximately 192.6 million years ago. H. scabra and A. japonicas joined together while sea urchin and sea star diverged about 440 Mya ago. Some key genes involved in notochord and gill slits development, skeleton degeneration and nervous system, as well as homeobox genes differ between H. scabra and Apostichopus japonicas. Conclusion: We report the first whole genome of H. scabra with expectation that this will be a valuable resource for genetic, phylogenetic, breading, molecular biology and bioactivator studies of sea cucumbers and other invertebrates.

        Capacity-Equivocation Region of a Special Case of Wiretap Channel with Noiseless Feedback

        The general wiretap channel with noiseless feedback is first investigated by Ahlswede and Cai, where lower and upper bounds on the secrecy capacity are provided in their work. The upper bound is met with equality only in some special cases. In this paper, we study a special case of the general wiretap channel with noiseless feedback (called non-degraded wiretap channel with noiseless feedback). Inner and outer bounds on the capacityequivocation region of this special model are provided. The outer bound is achievable if the main channel is more capable than the wiretap channel. The inner bound is constructed especially for the case that the wiretap channel is more capable than the main channel. The results of this paper are further explained via binary and Gaussian examples. Compared with the capacity results for the non-degraded wiretap channel, we find that the security is enhanced by using the noiseless feedback.

        Unsteady cavitation characteristics and alleviation of pressure fluctuations around marine propellers with different skew angles

        Cavitating flow around two marine propellers with different skew angles, a conventional propeller (CP) and a highly skewed propeller(HSP), operating in the non-uniform wake was simulated using a mass transfer cavitation model and the k-omega SST turbulence model. The numerical model reasonably predicted experimental data for the unsteady cavitation patterns as well as the oscillation amplitudes ofthe dominant pressure components. The results indicate that the effect of skew angle is very important on the cavitation characteristics aswell as the pressure fluctuations and that the amplitudes of pressure fluctuations for the HSP are 50~70% less than that for the CP. Therefore,the skewed propeller will reduce noise and vibration compared to the conventional propeller. Furthermore, the numerical modelverified the relation between the hull pressures and changing cavitation patterns as the blades sweep through the high wake region. Theresults demonstrate that volumetric acceleration of entire cavity around a propeller blade is the main reason for the pressure fluctuations,which agrees with previous experiments.

        The composite of carbon nanotubes/graphene networks loaded-Ni (CNTs/GR-Ni) were suc-cessfully synthesized by spray drying and post-calcinating method for the ¯rst time. The syn-thesized products were systematically studied by X-ray di®raction, scanning electron microscopyand transmission electron microscopy. The result showed the hybrid of CNTs and graphenecomposed the 3D network structure and Ni nanoparticles were attaching on their surface. Adsorption performance evidenced that the obtained nanocomposite possessed high adsorptione±ciency and excellent separation property.
