In this paper, we study about obstacle detection system of the ultrarsonic crane for the blind walking. We sense a restrictive object by FMCW method for forward direction and pulse method for other direction. The system is composed of hardware system and software system. The hardware system consists of FMCW unit pu1se, unit control unit, and sound generation unit. The software system consists of front direction measuring routine, 1eft/right measuring routine, lower up/down routine. We develope the u1trasonic distanice sensor to measur the distance between 50㎝ and 500㎝. We obtained very accurate result for hard material and obtain satisfactory results for the dressed The system detected up to 5m for hard surface material and up to 2m the man. This system produce a beep sound forthe blind of which frequency corresponds to the obstacle distance.
Denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis 와 real time PCR 방법을 이용한 연어 유전자들의 DNA 이형 다양성 검색

한국, 미국, 일본지역에 서식하는 연어에서 추출한 genomic DNA를 이용하여 연어의 mtDNA NDI 영역, D-loop 영역, growth hormone, IGF-I, MCH2, histone H3의 염기서열을 분석하여, 최적의 primer를 제작하여 PCR을 실시한 결과, mtDNA ND1 영역은 Ks12, Ks24, As11, As14, Js13, Js15에서 증폭된 DNA를 확인하였으며, D-loop 영역, growth hormone, IGF-I, histone H3, MCH2에서는 모든 시료에서 증폭된 DNA를 확인하였다. DGGE 분석의 결과, mtDNA NDI 영역 (AF133701, 449-880), D-loop 영역 (AF125518, 11-514)과 growth hormone (AF005927, 181-530)에서는 이형다양성을 확인하였으며, IGF-I (AF063216, 996-1461)과 MCH2 (M2728l, 70-593)는 모두 이형다양성이 나타났으나, histone H3 (AF017147, 7-487)는 모두 이형다양성이 관찰되지 않았다. 그리고 real time PCR 관찰 결과는 DGGE의 결과와 유사한 점을 찾을 수 없었지만, real time PCR도 각각의 유전자에 따라 서로 다른 DNA 생성 패턴을 보여 DNA 변이를 쉽게 구별하는데 보조적인 도움이 되었다. In order to detect the DNA heteropolymorphism of chum salmon, selected essential genes were examined in different regional chum salmons, i.e., Korean, Japanese and American by denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) and real time PCR methods. From the promoter regions and introns of growth hormone, mtDNA ND1 region, D-loop region, IGF-I, histone H3 and MCH2 several representative primer pairs were obtained and employed for the DGGE with the PCR products from the genomic DNAs of the different regional chum salmons. mtDNA ND1, D-loop region and IGF-I genes showed marked heteropolymorphism between Korean and American chum salmons. Intron C of growth hormone also showed a heteropolymorphism between Korean and Japanese chum salmons. Whereas heteropolymorphism of histone H3 and MCH2 genes was detected among in Korean, Japanese and American chum salmons in the examined region. The real time PCR disclosed the characteristic incremental production of target DNAs dependent on the heteropolymorphic conditions of genomic DNAs of chum salmons, thus the different regional chum salmons could be grouped by the variable incremental curves. Although the DGGE and real time PCR did not produce the identical results in this study, we suggest that the DGGE and real time PCR could be used for the primary screening of the DNA heteropolymorphism of different animal genome.

<P>Though enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay is widely used in laboratory medicine, it has limitations due to interactions between enzymes and secondary antibodies. Here, we propose a new cardiac assay scheme for detecting troponin I antigens based on La(1-x)SrxMnO3 (x = 0.10, 0.15, and 0.25) nanoparticles (NPs). These NPs are synthesized via a modified polyol process followed by heat treatment. An increase in x induces changes in crystal structure and increases both Curie temperature and saturation magnetization. The NPs with x = 0.15 exhibit a Curie temperature close to the human body temperature. The limit of detection is found to be 0.78 ng/mL. We also confirm that LaSrMnO NPs are reusable after heating the assay plate.</P>

In December 2019, the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the virus, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) emerged in China and spread rapidly around the world, infecting millions of people. Cases of COVID-19 infection were observed to lead to viral pneumonia. Thirty-five patients admitted to the Gyeonggi Medical Center, South Korea, between November 2020 to January 2021, were found to have been infected with the influenza virus A and B, which cause symptoms similar to COVID-19. The records of these patients and those of COVID-19 patients who visited the hospital for medical examination were compared. The study patients included thirty patients with COVID-19 and/or influenza, five of those with influenza alone. A group of 121 patients without infection was used as control. Patients with COVID-19 and influenza had significantly higher lactate dehydrogenase levels than the patients with COVID-19 alone. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) was higher in patients with COVID-19 alone than in other groups. Significant clinical outliers were observed in the COVID-19 and influenza infection group compared with the COVID-19 alone group. These results are expected to play an important role in the analysis of the hematological data of infected patients and the comparison of simultaneous and single infection data to determine clinical symptoms and other signs. These results may also assist in the development of vaccines and treatments for COVID-19.

In this study, based on the survey which shows their satisfaction on current leisure activities and preferred leisure activities, we empirically analyzed the cases of the juveniles who are participating leisure activities to use it as basic data for developing the effective leisure activity programs. In the survey we`ve made, the preferred leisure programs of boys are those related with sports and fun fun programs for the girls. To compare the difference between the preferred leisure programs and the satisfaction, we made T-test(paired sample t-test), which results, in almost all activities, statistically meaningful differences, that shows all activities are not satisfactory in comparison to their preferred levels. To investigate the relationship between the preferred activities and the level of satisfaction, we classified the cases with IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis), and it shows that chatting, listening music, computer games and internet activities are all highly ranked, while shopping, dating, watching movies and plays, singing rooms, and hobby group activities are highly favored but the level of satisfaction was low. And cultural tours to festivities and volunteering commitments were shown to be in very low level of satisfaction. Finally, through cluster analysis, we classified the type of favored leisure activities with active group and passive group, and researched the level of satisfaction between the two groups, which showed the former groups has the higher level of satisfaction on the programs like, culture-experience, tradition-experience, disciplinary activities, fun-fun programs, tourist resorts programs, sport program, cooperation-experience programs. And also the average level of satisfaction on the whole programs were higher with the culture-experience and tradition-experience programs.
