        The purpose of this study was to test the effects of speed reading development program which was constructed as the clinical treatments of the five psycho-phypical variables of eye movements and perceptual processes. The clinical treatments of this program were integrated with a reading activity to form a wholeness of behaviors and to synthesize the interaction effects among treatments. The output behaviors could be developed and explained, not in terms of fixation, comprehension, and saccading, but in terms of power, flexbility, speed, rhythm, focussing, concentation, and comprehension. Along with the four weeks' manipulation of an experimental time series design, both speed and comprehension variables of college students' reading behaviors were significantly developed at the level of reading their textbooks at the rate of about two thousand and six hundred words per minute which were easily contacted.

      • Thermo-Loop 를 이용한 난방장치의 해석

        This study is experimental work to investigate characteristics of natural convection flow for a thermoloop room heating system. Focus was given to understand flow regimes and correlation between thermal loads and mass flow rates of working fluid. Followings are some results obtained i) When thermal load varies from one state to another, circulating flow demonstrates very stable transient phenomena, whithout any fluctuations shown in toroidal themo-loop. ii) Mass flow rate increases in accordance with thermal load, but its valve is so low that Reynolds number is less than 400. So, flow regime might be of mixed type of convection, and secondary flows develope all through the pipe. iii) Creveling's correlation of some nondimentional groupes, obtained for toroidal thermo-loop, is shown to be applicable for thermo-loop room heating system.

        This study is conducted to established integrated principal framework for the effects of the Hospital Information System(HIS) specially Physician Order Entry system(POE), Laboratory Information System(LIS), and Picture Archiving and Communication System(PACS) on the performance of medical institute. We had reviewed and analyzed the literature of POE, LIS, and PACS, and then formulated principal framework. In conclusion, the implementation of HIS could improve the satisfaction of medical staff and reengineer the work process, and those leaded improving the quality of service, and that also leaded increasing the number of patients and case mix of disease, and then those leaded increasing the performance of medical institute.

        견관절부 근막동통증후군의 근육내 전기자극치료시 신장운동과 안정화운동의 효과 비교

        Summary of Background Data: Myofascial pain syndrome (MPS) is a common painful muscle disorder caused by trigger points occurring in myofascial. MPS is a major cause of chronical pain and is the subject of further clinical examination. Purpose: To uncover effective intramuscular stimulation therapy (IMS), the patients' actively participation stretching exercise and stabilizing around shoulder girdle where trigger point provoking myofascial pain syndrome in usually occurred. Methods: 45 myofascial pain syndrome patients were randomly chosen and divided into 3 groups. The first group (G1) received only IMS therapy, The second group (G2) had both IMS and active stretching exercises administered and the final group (G3) was given IMS therapy and stabilizing exercises. Therapy intervention was given for 3 weeks, 3 times a week and then only stretching exercise for the second group and stabilizing exercise for the third group was given for another 3 weeks. The visual analogue scale was dine before the experiment, 3 weeks after the experiment and 6weeks after the experiment to measure subjective degrees of pain and pressure pain threshold to measure sensitivity improvement of trigger point and functional ability questionnaire to measure daily life performance. Results: There were no significant changes after 3 weeks but after 6 weeks, between G1 and G2 and between G1 and G3 showed significant change of pain, pressure pain threshold and daily life performance. There were significant improvement of the measurement of degrees of pain, pressure pain threshold and improvement of daily life performance at different times for G1 showed change 3 weeks after the experiment, but there were no changes 6 weeks after the experiment. There were significant improvement of the measurement at different times for G2 and G3 showed change 3 weeks after the experiment and 6 weeks after the experiment. Conclusions: IMS therapy proved to be effective in inactivation of trigger points of the myofascial pain syndrome patients and stretching and stabilizing exercises beside it keep remedial value longer by improvement of pain and dysfunction that occurred by the trigger point.

        Recently, copyright of 3D data model being taken in methods to protect the copyright of data and preventing illegal duplication of it. in this paper, we are comparative analysis about watermarking method in transform domain of 3D data model. 3D Watermarking is being taken coordinate value and connectivity information. Watermark embeding to middle domain of coefficient value in WT(wavelet transtorm) and DCT(discrete cosine transform). First method that insert water mark data to WT coefficient value stand on basis of the WT of Kanai's 3D data model and MRR(multi resolution representation). Second method that insert water mark data to 3D data model's DCT coefficient value stand on basis of the Jeong-Hee Jeon's triangle-strip. And, I study on comparing of two methods and analyzing the merits and demerits of two methods.

        The lead has to be removed for the recycling of copper alloy. The lead cannot be removed from the copper alloy by oxidation. It can be removed by the evaporation because of its high vapor pressure. However, rate information is found on removal of lead from copper alloy. The purpose of present work is to provide a fundamental knowledgs on the removal of lead from the copper alloy by evaporation. Gas injection was made in molten copper alloy, and the evaporation rate of lead was measured. The influence of Ar gas flow rate(2~4 L/min), initial contents of lead(2~4wt%Pb), temperature(1200~1400℃) was investigated based on the thermodynamic and the kinetics. The rate constant is increased with increasing flow rate of Ar and temperature. Though amount of lead removed is increased with higher initial lead concentration, the rate constant is not changed significantly. The activation energy is estimated from the temperature dependence of the rate constant. Also removal of lead from the copper by adding chloride was made for the comparison

      • G4-48PyA 덴드리머 LB막의 금속이온 착체 효과

        Dendrimers represent a new class of synthetic macromolecules characterized by a regularly branched treelike structure. Peculiar features of the dendritic geometry are the large number of end groups as well as the shape persistence in higher generations, approaching spherical geometry. And one of the most peculiar characteristics of dendritic macromolecules is their controlled molecular structure and orientation, which means that they have a practical application in achieving a highly organized molecular arrangement. We attempted to fabricate a G4-48PyA dendrimer LB films containing 48 pyridinealdoxime functional end group that could form a complex structure with metal ions. Also, we investigated the surface activity of dendrimer films at sir-water interface. And we have studied the electrical properties of the ultra-thin dendrimer LB films. The electrical properties of the ultra-thin dendrimer LB films were investigated by studying the current-voltage characteristics of metal denrimer LB films/metal (MIM) structure. And rectifying behavior of the device was occurred in applied field.

      • 有限要素法에 의한 垂直荷重下의 타이어 變形 및 應力解析

        Tires are made of rubber composites which consist of several plies. Each ply consists of a thin layer of rubber matrix reinforced with unidirectional steel or polyester cords. The deformation and stress analysis of reinforced tires is very difficult because of the material properties and complexity of tire composites. In the present work, the tire inflation and contact problem has been solved by the finite element method in which overcome the complexity of tire composites. The finite element formulation is derived from the equilibrium equations by the principle of virtual work, and the constitutive equation given by the rubber material characteristics. Also, a contact formulation is added to the finite element formulation to calculate the stress distribution of tires in contact with flat rigid road under the vertical load. The calculation for the deformed shape and the stress distribution is executed by dividing into many time steps for incremental analysis. And the solutions of each time step are converged by modified Newton-Raphson iteration method. The results of the finite element analysis of the tire deformation and stress distribution, show good agreement with previous similar analysis of others.

      • [논문]다른 온도로 소성한 왕겨를 콘크리트 흔화재로 사용한 콘크리트의 강도특성에 관한 연구

        본 논문은 다른온도로 소성한 왕겨를 콘크리트 흔화재로 사용한 콘크리트의 강도특성을 알아보기 위한 것으로 물결합재비를 35% 로 고정하고 왕겨의 혼입률을 각기 달리하여 소성온도에 따른 압축강도 특성과 왕겨의 혼입률에 따른 강도특성을 평가하였다. 실험결과 왕겨가 혼화재로서 성능을 발휘하는 최저 온도가 600℃인 것으로 나타났으며, 700℃로 소성한 경우 가장 우수한 강도 값을 나타내었다. 또한 혼입률별 압축강도 특성에서는 혼입률 10% 에서 가장 우수한 강도발현을 나타내었다.
