        Stability analysis of a novel mobile spray-painting robot for touch-up painting in vehicle repair plant

        The stability of a mobile robot is important because it may tip over. This work proposes a hybrid spray-painting robot with high stiffness for touch-up painting in vehicle repair plant and investigates its stability. The distribution of the center of mass is studied based on the kinematics model, and the static stability of the mobile spray-painting robot is analyzed. A micro element method is proposed to accurately calculate the inertia force and the action point of each link in the robot. Zero-moment point (ZMP) is calculated, and the dynamic stability of the mobile robot is assessed using the ZMP criterion. The smallest reasonable width of AGV is obtained for the lightweight design of the robot. The static and dynamic stabilities of the mobile robot are compared with a traditional series mobile robot with the same workspace. Several case studies are conduct by ADAMS to verify the theoretical analysis.

        Dual-inhibitor composite BTA/PPy/MIL-88(Fe) for active anticorrosion of epoxy resin coatings

        MIL-88(Fe) was used as an oxidant and a hard template for the synthesis of polypyrrole (PPy) on its surface,and the formation of PPy made the surface of MIL-88(Fe) rougher as well as more voids formed inthe interior. The increased specific surface area allowed more benzotriazole (BTA) (17.8 wt%) loaded onPPy/MIL-88 particles. BTA/PPy/MIL-88(Fe) was employed as a novel corrosion inhibitor to enhance thecorrosion resistance of epoxy coating for carbon steel. BTA/PPy/MIL-88(Fe) filler improved the corrosionresistance of EP coating without/with artificial scratch by delaying the cathodic and anodic reactions incorrosive media. Both BTA and MIL-88(Fe) played the role of corrosion inhibitors, making EP coating possessactive corrosion protection and pH-sensitive performance. Besides, BTA/PPy/MIL-88(Fe) enhancedthe adhesion of EP coating by filling the pores inside.

        Chemical constituents of the stems of Celastrus rugosus

        Two new sesquiterpene pyridine alkaloids rugosusinesA and B (1 and 2), and thirty-one known compoundswere isolated from the stems of Celastrus rugosus. The structures of new compounds were elucidated bydetailed spectroscopic analysis, including HR-ESI–MS and2D NMR spectroscopic data. All the compounds wereisolated from this plant for the first time. The cytotoxicitiesof these compounds were tested against SKOV3 and MGC-803 cell lines by CCK-8 method.

        Study on unsteady tip leakage vortex cavitation in an axial-flow pump using an improved filter-based model

        The aim of the present investigation is to simulate and analyze the tip leakage flow structure and instantaneous evolution of tip vortex cavitation in a scaled axial-flow pump model. The improved filter-based turbulence model based on the density correction and a homogeneous cavitation model were used for implementing this work. The results show that when entering into the tip clearance, the backward flow separates from the blade tip near the pressure side, resulting in the generation of a corner vortex with high magnitude of turbulence kinetic energy. Then, at the exit of the tip clearance, the leakage jets would re-attach on the blade tip wall. Moreover, the maximum swirling strength method was employed in identifying the TLV core and a counter-rotating induced vortex near the end-wall successfully. The threedimensional cavitation patterns and in-plain cavitation structures obtained by the improved numerical method agree well with the experimental results. At the sheet cavitation trailing edge in the tip region, the perpendicular cavitation cloud induced by TLV sheds and migrates toward the pressure side of the neighboring blade. During its migration, it breaks down abruptly and generates a large number of smallscale cavities, leading to severe degradation of the pump performance, which is similar with the phenomenon observed by Tan et al. [35].

        Static performance of a new GFRP–metal string truss bridge subjected to unsymmetrical loads

        A unique lightweight string truss deployable bridge assembled by thin-walled fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) and metal profiles was designed for emergency applications. As a new structure, investigations into the static structural performance under the serviceability limit state are desired for examining the structural integrity of the developed bridge when subjected to unsymmetrical loadings characterized by combined torsion and bending. In this study, a full-scale experimental inspection was conducted on a fabricated bridge, and the combined flexural–torsional behavior was examined in terms of displacement and strains. The experimental structure showed favorable strength and rigidity performances to function as deployable bridge under unsymmetrical loading conditions and should be designed in accordance with the stiffness criterion, the same as that under symmetrical loads. In addition, a finite element model (FEM) with a simple modeling process, which considered the multi segments of the FRP members and realistic nodal stiffness of the complex unique hybrid nodal joints, was constructed and compared against experiments, demonstrating good agreement. A FEM-based numerical analysis was thereafter performed to explore the effect of the change in elastic modulus of different FRP elements on the static deformation of the bridge. The results confirmed that the change in elastic modulus of different types of FRP element members caused remarkable differences on the bending and torsional stiffness of the hybrid bridge. The global stiffness of such a unique bridge can be significantly enhanced by redesigning the critical lower string pull bars using designable FRP profiles with high elastic modulus.

        In this paper, we study Ding injective modules over Frobenius extensions. Let R ⊂ A be a separable Frobenius extension of rings and M any left A-module, it is proved that M is a Ding injective left A-module if and only if M is a Ding injective left R-module if and only if A ⊗R M (HomR(A, M)) is a Ding injective left A-module.

        Pharmacokinetic difference of berberine between normal and chronic visceral hypersensitivity irritable bowel syndrome rats and its mechanism

        Berberine is one of active alkaloids from Rhizomacoptidis in traditional Chinese medicine. The pharmacokineticsof berberine in rat plasma were compared betweennormal and chronic visceral hypersensitivity irritable bowelsyndrome rats (CVH-IBS) established by mechanical colonirritation using angioplasty balloons for 2 weeks after oraladministration of berberine hydrochloride (25 mg/kg) withthe equivalent dose of 22 mg/kg for berberine according tobody weight. Immunohistochemical analysis of c-fos andmyosin light chain kinase (MLCK) and immunofluorescenceanalysis of MLCK in rat colon were conducted. Quantificationof berberine in rat plasma was achieved by using a sensitiveand rapidUPLC-MS/MSmethod. Plasma samples werecollected at 15 different points in time and the pharmacokineticparameters were analyzed by WinNonlin software. Thegreat different pharmacokinetic behavior of berberine wasobserved between normal and CVH-IBS model rats. Compared with normal group, T1/2 and AUC(0–t) of berberinein the model group were significantly increased, respectively(573.21 ± 127.53 vs 948.22 ± 388.57 min; 8,657.19 ±1,562.54 vs 11,415.12 ± 1,670.72 min.ng/ml). Cl/F of berberinein the model group significantly decreased, respectively(13.89 ± 1.69 vs 9.19 ± 2.91 L/h/kg). Additionally,the expressions of c-fos and MLCK in model group werehigher than those in normal group. The pharmacokinetic behaviorof berberine was significantly altered in CVH-IBSpathological conditions, which indicated the dosage modificationof berberine hydrochloride in CVH-IBS were necessary. Especially, improved exposure to berberine in ratplasma inCVH-IBSmodel rats was attributed to increased theexpression of MLCK.

        Calcium precipitation to remove fluorine in groundwater: Induced by Acinetobacter sp. H12 as a template

        Calcium precipitation induced by Acinetobacter sp. H12 can simultaneously remove F− and Ca2+. Adsorption kinetics and isotherm studies showed that the defluoridation effect improved with the increase of temperature and time. The equilibrium adsorption capacity of calcium precipitation was 7.43 mg g−1 at the initial F− concentration of 10 mg L−1. Moreover, as the pH increased, the F− adsorption capacity decreased and the Ca2+ removal rate gradually increased. The adsorption process was highly fitted to the pseudo-second-order and the Freundlich isotherm. Adsorption thermodynamics analysis demonstrated that the adsorption process was a spontaneous endothermic reaction. The activation adsorption energy was 2.81 kJ mol−1 and the frequency coefficient was 10.88 h−1. EEM, SEM, XPS. XRD results indicated that the defluoridation mechanism may be due to adsorption and co-precipitation. The mechanism of Ca2+ removal may be co-precipitation with F−. It is worth-mentioning that calcium precipitation overcame the problem of adding carbon sources and avoided the microbial safety risk in the effluent. Therefore, a new insight was proposed for simultaneous remediation of Ca2+ and F− from groundwater combining the biological and chemical method.

        Stayed Buckle Cable Recycling for Seismic Upgrading of Super-long-span Concrete Filled Steel Tube Arch Bridges

        A seismic upgrading approach for super-large-span upper-deck concrete-filled steel tube arch bridges using the stayed buckle cables (SBCs, which are temporary facilities for construction of long-span arch bridges) was proposed. The arrangement of SBCs most beneficial to the seismic resistance of arch bridges was determined. The results show that the reasonable arrangement of SBCs can achieve significant seismic performance improvement, reduce the stress demand on the diagonal of the arch rib, and improve the capacity-demand ratios of the weak sections of the arch rib. In upgrading model, the max displacement response of the structure is decreased by 41.3%, the max tensile stress on the diagonal is decreased by 30.1%, the max compression stress demand on the diagonal decreased by 18.0%, the CDRs of sections of the arch ribs are greatly improved.

        New Glycosides from Dracocephalum tanguticum Maxim

        Four new glycosides, luteolin-7-methoxy-3'-O-(3''-O-acetyl)-β-D-gluco pyranuronic acid-6''-methyl ester (1), benzyl-6-[(2E)-2-butenoate]-β-D-glucopyranoside (2), 2-methoxy-4-(2-propen-1-yl)penyl-6-acetate-β-D-glucopyranoside (3), and 2-methoxy-4-(2-propen-1-yl)penyl-6-[(2E)-2-butenoate]-β- D-glucopyranoside (4), along with benzyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (5), 2-methoxy-4-(2-propen-1-yl)penyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (6), and pectolarigenin (7), were isolated from the whole plant of Dracocephalum tanguticum Maxim. The structures of 1-4 were elucidated by detailed spectroscopic analyses, including HR-ESI-MS and 2D NMR spectroscopic data. The inhibitory effects against nitric oxide production in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells of all seven compounds were also evaluated.
