        <P> Studies on the fruits of Evodia officinalis yielded a new quinazolinedione alkaloid, wuchuyuamide III (1), together with known alkaloids, goshuyuamide II (2), evodiamine and rutaecarpine. Their structures were elucidated by means of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic analysis. Wuchuyuamide III (1) and goshuyuamide II (2) showed modest cytotoxicity against HeLa and HT1080 cell lines.</P>

        Indoor space is the inner space of human beings ‘needs for survival, and the demand for indoor space has been constantly evolving towards more diverse, refined, reasonable and humane directions. The interior layout of the modern exhibition hall is not only a simple space cut, but also uses visual means such as visual means. The design of perceptual design as a guide to visitors and visitors and visitors is also developing into humanity, emotional feeling, and literary orientation. From visual angle perspective, the paper analyzes the performance of the perceptual design in contemporary space. The visual element of the modern exhibition hall, with the focus on light, is to be specifically classified into natural light and artificial light, and to be studied in the form of analyzing and contrasting the expressive characteristics. Research on the form of light, intensity and color in exhibition space and analyze how it affects the formation of atmosphere through the visual effects of modern exhibition halls.

        Heavy concrete shielding properties for carbon therapy

        As medical facilities are usually built at urban areas, special concrete aggregates and evaluation methods are needed to optimize the design of concrete walls by balancing density, thickness, material composition, cost, and other factors. Carbon treatment rooms require a high radiation shielding requirement, as the neutron yield from carbon therapy is much higher than the neutron yield of protons. In this case study, the maximum carbon energy is 430 MeV/u and the maximum current is 0.27 nA from a hybrid particle therapy system. Hospital or facility construction should consider this requirement to design a special heavy concrete. In this work, magnetite is adopted as the major aggregate. Density is determined mainly by the major aggregate content of magnetite, and a heavy concrete test block was constructed for structural tests. The compressive strength is 35.7 MPa. The density ranges from 3.65 g/cm<sup>3</sup> to 4.14 g/cm<sup>3</sup>, and the iron mass content ranges from 53.78% to 60.38% from the 12 cored sample measurements. It was found that there is a linear relationship between density and iron content, and mixing impurities should be the major reason leading to the nonuniform element and density distribution. The effect of this nonuniformity on radiation shielding properties for a carbon treatment room is investigated by three groups of Monte Carlo simulations. Higher density dominates to reduce shielding thickness. However, a higher content of high-Z elements will weaken the shielding strength, especially at a lower dose rate threshold and vice versa. The weakened side effect of a high iron content on the shielding property is obvious at 2.5 µSv=h. Therefore, we should not blindly pursue high Z content in engineering. If the thickness is constrained to 2 m, then the density can be reduced to 3.3 g/cm<sup>3</sup>, which will save cost by reducing the magnetite composition with 50.44% iron content. If a higher density of 3.9 g/cm<sup>3</sup> with 57.65% iron content is selected for construction, then the thickness of the wall can be reduced to 174.2 cm, which will save space for equipment installation.

        청년복합문화공간의 공간구성 및 사용자 만족도 분석

        In contrast to the growing elderly population, the younger population is shrinking. To support youth problem solving, the youth complex culture space is a representative youth space. The growth and development of youth should be created in a diverse and professional space environment. The purpose of this study is to understand the current state of youth complex cultural space and to reflect the direction of improvement of youth complex cultural space through user interviews. This study mainly consisted of two aspects: the characteristics of space composition of youth complex culture space and the user"s satisfaction with space use. The subjects of the study were selected as six cases located in Seoul. In addition, 20 people who visited these cases were selected for interviewed them. In conclusion, the complex cultural space is centered on performances and exhibitions, while the complex cultural space for youth is centered on solving problems and supporting challenges. Moreover, due to the overall lack of space, space is used for multi-purpose purposes. The youth complex cultural space is largely open-structured and is greatly disturbed by noise or smell from other spaces. Therefore, it should be divided into noise areas and non-noise areas. Windows or extended ventilation equipment shall be provided in poorly ventilated spaces. In addition, unlike in foreign countries, where art and physical education spaces are essential, Korean youth complex cultural spaces consist mostly of similar functions. The youth complex cultural space also needs to strengthen its characteristics and create a differentiated youth complex cultural space by providing programs and spaces for professional development of diverse and potential young people.

        Evidence for the medicinal value of Squama Manitis (pangolin scale): A systematic review

        Background: Squama Manitis (pangolin scale) has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. However, its efficacy has not been systematically reviewed. This review aims to fill the gap. Methods: We searched six electronic databases including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database (CNKI), WanFang Database and SinoMed from inception to May 1, 2020. Search terms included “pangolin”, “Squama Manitis”, “Manis crassicaudata”, “Manis javanica”, “Malayan pangolins”, “Manis pentadactyla”, “Ling Li”, “Chuan Shan Jia”, “Shan Jia”, “Pao Jia Zhu”, “Jia Pian” and “Pao Shan Jia”. The Cochrane Risk of Bias (RoB) assessment tool and Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) were used to evaluate the risk of bias of the included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and case control studies (CCSs). Results: After screening, 15 articles that met the inclusion criteria were finally included. There were 4 randomized controlled trials, 1 case control study, 3 case series and 7 case reports. A total of 15 different diseases were reported in these studies, thus the data could not be merged to generate powerful results. Two RCTs suggested that Squama Manitis combined with herbal decoction or antibiotics could bring additional benifit for treating postpartum hypogalactia and mesenteric lymphadenitis. However, this result was not reliable due to low methodological quality and irrational outcomes. The other two RCTs generated negative results. All the non-RCTs did not add any valuable evidence to the efficacy of Squama Manitis beacause of small samples, incomplete records, non-standardized outcome detection. In general, currently available evidence cannot support the clinical use of Squama Manitis. Conclusion: There is no reliable evidence that Squama Manitis has special medicinal value. The removal of Squama Manitis from Pharmacopoeia is rational.

      • Five miRNAs as Novel Diagnostic Biomarker Candidates for Primary Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

        MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play an essential role in the development and progression of nasopharyngeal carcinomas (NPC). Despite advances in the field of cancer molecular biology and biomarker discovery, the development of clinically validated biomarkers for primary NPC has remained elusive. In this study, we investigated the expression and clinical significance of miRNAs as novel primary NPC diagnostic biomarkers. We used an array containing 2, 500 miRNAs to identify 22 significant miRNAs, and these candidate miRNAs were validated using 67 fresh NPC and 25 normal control tissues via quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). Expression and correlation analyses were performed with various statistical approaches, in addition to logistic regression and receiver operating characteristic curve analyses to evaluate diagnostic efficacy. qRT-PCR revealed five differentially expressed miRNAs (miR-93-5p, miR-135b-5p, miR-205-5p and miR-183-5p) in NPC tissue samples relative to control samples (p<0.05), with miR-135b-5p and miR-205-5p being of significant diagnostic value (p<0.01). Moreover, comparison of NPC patient clinicopathologic data revealed a negative correlation between miR-93-5p and miR-183-5p expression levels and lymph node status (p<0.05). These findings display an altered expression of many miRNAs in NPC tissues, thus providing information pertinent to pathophysiological and diagnostic research. Ultimately, miR-135b-5p and miR-205-5p may be implicated as novel NPC candidate biomarkers, while miR-93-5p, miR-650 and miR-183-5p may find application as relevant clinical pathology and diagnostic candidate biomarkers.

        중국 최초공모주(IPO)의 초기 성과에 관한 연구 : 중국 A 주식시장을 중심으로

        본 연구는 2006년 6월부터 2008년 9월까지 중국 A 주식시장에 상장된 248개 기업을 대상으로 최초 공모주(IPO)의 초기성과와 결정요인에 대하여 실증분석 하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 중국 최초공모주의 상장일 수익률은 통계적으로 유의성을 갖는 정(+)의 초과수익률(141.65%)을 실현하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 상장 후 주가의 누적평균초과수익률은 상장 후 지속적으로 하락하는 미국과 유사한 같은 형태를 가지며 역U자형인 우리나라와 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 최초공모주를 여러 소표본(거래소, 공모규모, 공모가격, 소속 업종, 공개연도)으로 분류하여 각 포트폴리오의 초과수익률의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 오랜 역사를 지닌 다른 증권시장을 연구대상으로 한 선행연구의 결과들과 거의 일치하였다. 마지막 회귀분석에서는 최초공모주의 초기성과는 공모규모와 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 IPO 발행재개 후 시장에서 뿐만 아니라 2009년 10월 개장한 창업판과 개설예정인 국제판 등 중국 기업공개시장 전반에서도 유의미한 통찰력을 제공할 것으로 판단된다. This study analysis all the Initial Public Offerings firms in Chinese A-Share Market during the period 2006. 6. 1 to 2008. 9. 30, in order to investigate whether anomaly phenomenon related with the IPOs exists in Chinese A-Share Market, and provide a valuable piece of information about variables influencing the IPOs effect. This study finds that 1) the initial return in Chines A-Share Market is significantly positive. and the initial return is on average 141.65%, which is much lower than the level in early 1990s reported in previous studies; 2) the degree of underpricing on these two stock exchanges is significantly different; 3) the offering sizes, offering price, and lottery ratio have a negative impact on initial return. We run a set of multiple regressions models using 5 dependent variables(LSIZE, PRICE, UTS, LOTTERY, TURNOVER) and 4 dummy variable(EX, IND, YEAR, LAG). The regression indicates EAR CAR0’s explanatory variables LSIZE is statistically significant, PRICE, the UTS, EX, YEAR are significant in CAR1,240. The regression results show the factors influencing CAR are dissimilitude according to dependent variables. Our study gives some insights into the pricing of new issues on China’s stock markets.

        A New Chromone Glycoside from Rhododendron spinuliferum

        A new chromone glycoside, 3,5,7-trihydroxylchromone-3-O-$\alpha$-L-arabinopyranoside (1), together with quercetin (2), (+)-catechin (3), (-)-epi-catechin (4) were isolated from the aerial parts of Rhododendron spinuliferum. The structure of 1 was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic and 2D-NMR spectral analysis. In addition, 1 exhibited mild inhibitory effect on NO production in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells.
