      • g-2Ca-0.3X계 합금의 첨가원소에 따른 용탕산화 거동

        This study has examined the ignition characteristics and oxidation resistant of the non-combustible Mg- 2Ca-0.3 weight % X(Al, La, Nd, Y) alloys in an attempt to develop new alloy systems that can subject to melting in the atmosphere and also prevent natural ignition of chips produced in mechanical working. Both the ignition property and oxidation resistant were found to improve significantly in any case where one of the third elements was added to the binary MG-2Ca alloy. The new alloy systems also improved the solidification characteristics, and their ingots were found to be relatively free from impurities and thermal crack whose presence is hard to avoid in the production of pure Mg ingots. The oxidation experiments with molten metals at 700℃ and 750℃ for 1 and 5 hours showed that the addition of Al or Y causes fine and dense oxide layers to develop. The oxide layers appear to suppress the grower of MgO products and thereby enhance the resistance of the alloys to ignition and burning. In alloys with the Y addition, the thickness of oxide layers did not show any significant change with the increase in temperature and time, indicating that the Y is relatively stable compared with that of Mg-2Ca. The ignition temperature of Mg-2Ca alloys, which is 100℃ higher than of pure Mg, increased by 100℃ with the addition of 0.3 weight % Al. There was a substantial increase in the ignition temperature as much as 800℃ in Mg-2Ca alloys containing both Al and Y by 0.3 weight %.

      • 위선암종의 발생과 진행에 따른 COX-2 및 PGE₂의 역할

        Objective: COX-2-derived PGE₂ has been implicated in the development of various cancers. PGE₂ promotes cancer proliferation by modulating proliferation, apoptosis, and angiogenesis. It is a down-stream product of COX and is bio-chemically inactivated by prostaglandin dehydrogenase (PGDH). Selective targeting of PGE₂ or receptors might be useful with respect to cancer. Substantial interest is focused on microsomal prostaglandin E synthase (mPGES)-1, which is upregulated in numerous human cancers. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of COX-2 and PGE₂ in cancer progression and metastasis in the stomach. Methods: Expression of COX-2, mPGES and 15-PGDH were examined by immunehistochemistry in a series of 48 cases of adenocarcinoma (advanced gastric carcinoma: 24 cases, early gastric carcinoma: 24 cases) and 12 cases of adenoma of stomach. Their clinicopathologic correlation was statistically evaluated. Results: COX-2 expression was correlated with cancer progression and lymph node metastasis. mPGES expression was correlated with lymph node metastasis. Increament of mPGES and decrement of PGDH were related to the progression of cancer. Strong immunoreactivity for COX-2 had statistically significant reverse correlation with the 15-PGDH expression. Conclusion: The authors assumed that the immunohistochemical expression of COX- 2, mPGES, or PGDH had a significant correlation with PGE₂. Therefore, modulation of mPGES or PGDH could help to prevent or treat the progression of the gastric adenocarcinoma without serious side effects of the COX-2 blockers.

        A series of civil constructions and development near Pohang provinces have been activated recently. but the behaviour of weathered mudstone soils, consisting of most part pohang region have shown very different shear behaviour. And it has caused a lot of problems in constructing civil structures. Therefore It can be emphasized that we noticed the characteristic shear behaviour of weathered mudstone soils. Study of this soils is less reaserched comparing with the other soils. In this study, For the purpose of more careful and exact definitions of weathered mudstone soils even though the experiment was conducted only remoulded soil specimen, we applied constitutive equations to predict the shear strength of weathered mudstone soils. The constitutive equations being used in this study are the Cam-clay model and the Single-Hardening Stress-Strain model from Dr. Lade. The range of experiment have been restricted only Undrained shear strength, and we controlled the method of consolidation After all experiment, we have evaluated which constitutive equation was suitable for the weathered mudstone soils, and have tried to find out the shear characteristic of weathered mudstone soils around Pohang province.

      • ??同位元素에 의한 火山灰土壤內 改良牧草의 燐酸肥料 利用效率에 關한 硏究

        火山灰土壤에서 orchardgrass와 ladino clover의 熔成燐肥와 燐鑛石의 利用效率을 究明하기 爲하여 野外 Pot試驗(試驗1)과 土壤內 置換成 燐酸(E-value), 可變態 燐酸(L-value) 測定을 爲해 ??同位元素를 利用하여 實驗室內 實驗(試驗2)을 施行하였다. 1. 牧草의 乾物收量은 濃暗褐色土壤과 黑色土壤에서 燐酸의 施用水準 增加함에 따라 增加되었으며 ?? 水準에서 顯著한 增加率을 나타내었다. 肥料의 種類에 따른 乾物增收 效果는 熔成燐肥가 모든 處理에서 優秀하였으나 黑色土壤에서 clover는 燐鑛石에 依해 增加效果를 나타냈다. 2. 牧草內 燐酸含量은 黑色土壤에서 施肥水準이 높아짐에 따라 有意的인 增加를 가져왔으며 濃暗褐色土壤에서는 clover의 單播 또는 混播에서 含量이 높아지고 있었다. 牧草內의 無機物 中 Na의 含量은 禾本科에 比해 荳科가 높았으며 K의 含量은 濃暗褐色土壤이 黑色土壤에 比해 높았다. 그러나 Ca와 Mg의 含量은 肥料水準이나 草種間에 큰 影響을 받지 않았다. 3. 供試土壤에 ?? 處理後 192時間의 E-value는 黑色土壤(5,552㎎/ℓ), 非火山灰土壤(1,125㎎/ℓ), 濃暗褐色土壤(801㎎/ℓ)의 順位였다. ??의 土壤吸着率은 黑色土壤에서 處理後 4日에 100%로 가장 빨랐고 濃暗褐色土壤과 非火山灰土壤에서 서서히 이루어져 處理後 8日에 各各 70% 및 80%의 燐酸이 土壤에 吸着되었다. L-value는 모든 土壤에서 clover가 orchardgrass보다 높았으며 熔成燐肥의 施用은 禾本科에서, 燐鑛石은 clover의 L-value를 높여 주었다. The growth responses of Dactylis glomerata and Trifolium repens to Fused-P and Rock-P were compared on the brown and black volcanic grassland soil in the outdoor pot experiment (Experiment 1). The E-value (Exchangeable value) of two soil types and L-value (Labile phosphorus value) measurements. using ?? tracer for P-uptake by two pasture species, were determined (Experiment 2). 1. Dry matter yield of orchardgrass and ladino clover on brown and black soil was increased according to level of fertilizer applied. There was marked increase in dry matter yield at the application rate of ?? per hectare. Influence of fertilizer on dry matter yield showed that Fused-P was more effective in all treatments with the exception of black soil with Rock-P. 2. The phosphorus content in the plant increased significantly according to the level of fertilizer applied on black soil. A similar tendency was observed in clover when sown singly or mixed on brown soil. Clover contained more Na than orchardgrass and the K content in the plant was higher in plant grown in brown soil than in black soil. No significant changes in content of Ca and Mg in the plant occured even different levels of fertilizer were used. 3. Exchangeable value (E-value) at 192 hours after ?? treatment was descending order, black soil ; 5552㎎/ℓ, non-volcanic soil ; 1125㎎/ℓand brown soil ; 801㎎/ℓ. Rapid P-binding kinetic in the soil solution was detected in the black soil (100% absorptive P within 4 days) and slow P-binding was observed in brown and non-volcanic soil with 70% and 80% absorptive P within 8 days of treatment respectively. L-value of pasture species was greater in orchardgrass than in clover on all soil types. It appears that Fused-P was more effective in the improvement of L-value of grass and Rock-P was more effective in the improvement of L-value of grass and Rock-P was influenced more by the L-value of clover.

        일본 농촌에서의 지역활성화 운동의 사례연구

        급속히 진핸된 공업화와 도시화로 인하여 일본의 농촌은 점점 공동화되고 농업은 축소되었으며 농민은 고령화되는 과정이 진행되어왔다. 농촌생활에 새로운 활기를 주기 위한 주민 스스로에 의한 지역활성화 운동은 지금 일본 전국을 휩쓸고 있다. 본 연구는 일본 농촌사회를 보다 심층적으로 이해하고 이를 통해 오늘날 전국적으로 확산되고 있는 지역활성화 운동이 어떠한 과정으로 그리고 왜 성공할 수 있었는지를 탐색해 봄으로써, 현재 위기에 직면해 있는 한국의 농촌과 농업이 새로운 생존전략을 모색하는 데 하나의 계기가 되고자 착수되었다. 연구는 문헌연구와 함께 지역활성화 운동의 두 사례에 대한 현장연구를 통해서 진행되었다. 사례로는 오오이따현의 오오야마 마찌와 쿠마모또현의 오구니 마찌가 선정되었고, 현지조사는 1992년 2월에 탐색적인 사전 답사를 거쳐서, 1993년 2월초에 실시되었다. 두 사례연구에서 우리는 각 지역사회가 어떤 작품의 지역활성화 운동을 만들어 나가느냐는데는 수많은 변수가 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 두 사례가 모두 그 지역의 자원을 최대한으로, 그리고 철저히 동원하고 있다는 점엔 아무런 차이가 없었다. 두 지역이 모두 오지의 산간촌이지만 결과적으로 오오야마 마찌는 농업에 치중하면서 성공적인 결실을 맺었는데 비하여, 오구니 마찌는 농업 및 임삼자원, 지열 및 온촌자원을 활용한 제3차산업에 더 큰 비중을 둔 지역활성화 사업을 연출해 내었다. 성공적인 지역활성화 운동을 위한 요인으로 특히 주목할 만한 것은 인재양성과 강력한 공동체 의식이었다. 우리의 두 사례에서 모두 미래를 내다보는 지도자들이 있었고, 다음 세대를 이어갈 인재를 양성하는 체계적인 프로그램이 운영되고 있었다. 마을 현재와 미래를 꿰뚫어 볼 수 있는 통찰력, 그리고 국가의 전반적인 추세와 국제사회의 동향 등에 관한 풍부한 지식을 가지고 있는 유능한 지도자들이 마을을 진키고 있었다. 또한 강력한 인간적인 유대에 기초환 촌락공동체의 전통이 아직 뿌리 깊게 남아 있는 일본사회에서는 구성원들간의 공동체적인 연대의식이 지역사회 단위의 통합을 가져오는 핵심적인 부분을 이루고 있었다. 개별 농가의 성공사례보다는 마을 전체의 발전에 더 높은 가치를 부여하고 있는 일본의 지역활성화 운동의 기초도 바로 여기에 있다고 생각한다. This study clearly shows that the utmost effective utilization of existing resources made it possible to modernize the enrich the communities. In a sense, the community revitalization movement can be said to create a new type of rural people, i.e, the rural people with self-confidence, strong solidarity and creative mind. This was in a degree supported by the strong traditionof solidarity and cooperation among community members in Japanese rural community members made it easy to cope with many problems generated by the process of modernizing the communities. Especially, the role of the local elites must be emphasized. Existence of well educated local elities made it possible to draw up the master plan to develop the community and implement the plan effectively. Well educated local elites are one of the most important assets of rural communities in Japan today.

      • 금호강하상 저니토의 특성과 PCBs 잔류 농도와의 상관관계

        낙동강의 수질에 영향을 미치는 금호강에서의 오염물질 잔류농도의 분석은 낙동강의 수질을 예측하는데 중요하다. 이에 금호강과 낙동강의 합류지점으로부터 7.5km까지 깊이별로 채취하여 pH, C0D, 강열감량, 토성을 분석하였고, PCBs 농도와의 상관관계를 조사하였다. 결과로는 pH와 PCBs 농도와의 상관관계는 나타나지 않았고 COD와 강열감량은 깊은 상관관계를 가지고 있다. 깊이별 농도는 깊이에 따라 변화의 폭이 크게 나타났으며 200cm 이하는 검출되지 않았다.

      • 전신마취 유도 직후 발생한 일측성 급성 기도폐쇄

        Acute unilateral airway obstruction may be developed immediately after general anesthetic induction. Tracheal intubation is essential procedure to support lives for who is coma or undergo general anesthesia, but several complications could occur. One of these is airway obstruction immediately after endotracheal tube insertion because of bronchial mucous plug, previous aspirated foreign body, hemoptysis ect. This acute bronchial obstruction may be manifested clinically by hypoxemia, cardiovascular instability, brain damage, if more aggravated to death due to partial or complete interruption of ventilation to an lung. Therefore if endotracheal tube obstruction may occur, early detection and treatment is very critical. A 53-year-old male patient underwent acute unilateral obstruction of bronchus immediately after inserted endotracheal tube, so he revealed hypoxemia, hypotension, but smooth operation and anesthetic care was progressed overall owing to endotracheal tube suction and replacement of tube.

      • APCVD법을 사용한 보론 포스파이드의 증착 및 특성에 관한 연구

        Boron Phosphide films were deposited on the glass substrate at the low temperature, 550℃, by the reaction of B₂H_6 with PH₃ using CVD. N₂ was employed as carrier gas. The reactant gas rates were 50 ㎖/min for B₂H_6, 50 ㎖/min for PH₃ and 1.5ℓ/min for N₂. The films were annealed for 1hour, 3hours in N₂ambient at 550℃. The deposition rate was 1000Å/min and the refractive index of film was 2.6. The measurement of XRD shows that the films have the preferred orientation of (1 0 1). The data of VIS spectrophotometer show 75.49% for as-deposited, 76.71% for 1hr-annealed and 86.4 % for 3 hrs-annealed. The data of AFM show 73Å for as-deposited, 88.9Å for 1hr-annealed and 220Å for 3hrs-annealed. Also, The data of the secondary electron emission rate(γ) s how 0.317 for as -deposited, 0.357 for 1hr-annealed and 0.537 for 3hrs-annealed. And, The film shows the surface deposited thin film, bu using FT-IR, has the O-H bond and this bond is greatly decreased as annealing.

Because of specialised learning, there is today less research for the ultimate reasons, and more research in minutiae. These days mam does not intend to obey nature but intends to control it. Man can think that this world is composed of material staff only. This is the aspect of this modern age. Unfortunately neither science nor materialism can save our modern age. Love, however can do it. Love is the ultimate thing in the world. Therefore, we haue value Gabriel Marcel's theory of love.
