      • 八味地黃湯 煎湯液의 投與가 마우스의 自然致死 細胞의 活性度 및 免疫反應에 미치는 影響

        This study was done to know the effects of Palmijihwangtang(八味地黃湯) on the cytotoxic activity of NK cells, the phagocytic activity of macrophages, the antibody production of B cells, and delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction by T cells in the mouse. The results were as follows. 1. The administration of Palmijihwangtang enhanced the cytotoxic activity of NK cells against YAC-1 cells. 2. The administration on Palmijihwangtang increased the production of reactive oxygen intermediate(ROI) production from macrophages without any effect on phagocytic activity. 3. The administration of Palmijihwangtang decreased the delayed-type hypersensitivity against dinitrochlorobenzene without affecting T cell subtypes. 4. The administration of Palmijihwangtang increased the antibody production against sheep red blood cells. The above results suggest that Palmijihwangtang could be used for the prevention and treatment of the diseases caused by the abnormalties of the body's immune functions.

        면접조사를 통한 초등학생의 영양교육 실태 및 실천도 조사

        This study investigated the experience and practice of elementary school students on nutrition education. The data were collected from 217 male and female students attending 5-6th grade elementary schools in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do from March to June 2007, interviewing face to face by a nutrition teacher and 3 interns of a nutrition teacher. The results were as follows: 86.5% of the subjects learned about ‘Table etiquette’, ‘Reasons for eating fruits and vegetables’ (78.7%), ‘Food waste and environment’ (72.3%), ‘Healthy snacks’ (55.7%), ‘Food sanitation’ (52.3%), ‘Food culture of foreign countries’ (48.1%). Nutrition education experience was significantly different by gender. A total of 43.5% boys responded that they never learned about ‘basic food preperation’ (p < 0.01). They had learned ‘Nutrients for body’ and ‘Food waste and environment’ in school, ‘Healthy weight loss’, ‘Food culture of foreign countries’, ‘Food circulation’ on television, Most content (‘Table etiquette’, ‘Simple cooking’, ‘Food sanitati n’, ‘Eating behaviors for health’, ‘Reasons for eating fruits and vegetables’, ‘Healthy snacks’) was learned from parents. The practice after nutrition education was higher in ‘Table etiquette’ (2.14), ‘Eating fruits and vegetables’ (2.07) than others compared with education experience. The most reason of non-practice on nutrition information was ‘Troublesome’. In ‘Nutrients for body’, a boy answered ‘Difficult for practice’ 20.0%, a girl answered ‘Difficult to understand’ 32.6%, showing a significant difference between the gender groups (p < 0.001). They remembered the ‘Nutrients for body’ (49.6%), ‘Food sanitation’ (44.5%) because of ‘important content’,‘Basic food preparation’ (40.6%), ‘Food culture of foreign countries’ (36.3%) because of ‘interesting content’, ‘Healthy weight loss’ (52.0%), ‘Eating behavior for health’ (44.5%) and ‘Healthy snacks’ (33.7%) because of ‘need for my health’.

      • 돈분 퇴비단 여과 액비가 ‘Salanova’ 상추의 생육과 기능성 물질농도에 미치는 영향

        In this study, the availability of pig slurry composting and biofiltration (PSCB) solution as an alternative for synthetic nutrient solution was determined by monitoring the growth and phytochemicals of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. cv. ‘Salanova’). This study was conducted from 16 September 2011 to 31 October 2011. PSCB solution treatments were consisted of 1 time dilution (52N), 13 times dilution (4N), 26 times dilution (2N), and 52 times dilution (1N) which were based on the nitrogen concentration of a commercial liquid fertilizer for leafy vegetables (control). Subirrigation system was used to cultivate lettuce plants in pots containing commercial growing medium. As a result, all growth characteristics were the highest at control. Among PSCB treatments, PSCB 52N induced severe growth disorder at 28 days after transplanting (DAT) probably due to too high salinity. PSCB 1N also retarded the growth of ‘Salanova’ lettuce plants. This may be caused by high pH and/or imbalanced other mineral concentration except nitrogen of PSCB solution. In contrast, polyphenolic compounds with antioxidant properties were more abundant in lettuce with PSCB solution than control. However, further study is required to determine the certain factors of PSCB on the induction of phytochemical biosynthesis pathway. In conclusion, additional strategies should be developed to use PSCB solution as nutrient solution in greenhouses.

      • 풋마늘의 冬季養液裁培에 關한 硏究

        겨울철 新鮮한 풋마늘의 生産體系 確立으로 端境期를 解消함과 아울러 아파트 人口가 增加하고 있는 오늘날 室內에서 簡單한 方法으로 풋마늘을 生産하는데 必要한 資料를 얻고자 하였다. 1) 萌芽率은 15±1℃區와 20±1℃區의 Hyponex와 水道물에서 瀋陽種(暖地型)이 瀋種 7日後에, 그리고 濟州種(暖地型)이 播種 21日後에 各各 100%를 나타내었다. 그러나 義城種(寒地型)은 15±1℃區에서 播種 7日後에 全혀 萌芽하지 않았고 21日後에 15±1℃區와 20±1℃區에서 各各 85% 및 95%의 萌芽率을 보였다. 2) 草長은 15±1℃區보다 20±1℃區에서, 그리고 水道물보다 Hyponex에서 더 크며 그의 伸長速度가 빨랐다. 瀋陽種은 15±1℃區와 20±1℃區의 Hyponex와 水道물에서 播種 35日後에 잎이 黃化하면서 草長의 伸長이 停止되었으나 濟州種과 義城種은 伸長을 繼績하였다. 瀋陽種은 다른 2品種에 比하여 草長이 顯著히 컸으며 伸長速度가 매우 빨랐다. 3) 播種 21日後의 葉數, 葉?徑, 葉重 및 葉?重은 15±1℃區보다 20±1℃區에서, 그리고 水道물보다 Hyponex에서 더 增加하였다. 供試 3品鍾中 瀋陽種이 各處理區에서 葉數가 顯著히 많고 葉重이 무서웠다. 義城種은 15±1℃區의 Hyponex와 水道물에서 葉伸長을 볼 수 없었다. 4) 比生長率(CGR)은 15±1℃區와 20±1℃區의 Hyponex와 水道물에서 瀋陽種과 濟州種은 播種7日後에, 그리고 義城種은 播種 14日後에 極大期를 나타낸 다음 漸次 減少하였다. 極大期의 比生長率은 15±1℃區보다 20±1℃區에서, 그리고 水도물보다 Hyponex에서 더 높았다. 5) 20±1℃區에서 CGR의 잎으로서 寄與率은 瀋陽種과 濟州種이 播種21日後까지 增加한 다음 漸次 減少하는 傾向을 보였으나 義城種은 繼績 增加하였고, 뿌리로의 寄與率은 3品種 모두 播種14日後부터 急激히 減少하였다. 6) 葉面積指數는 20±1℃區에서 3品種 모두 水道물보다 Hyponex에서 높았다. 播種28日後의 葉面積指數는 濟州種이 2.0 그리고 義城種이 1.0이었는데 比하여 瀋陽種은 4.0 以上이었다. 7) 本實驗의 어느 境遇에 있어서도 瀋陽種이 濟州種 및 義城種에 比하여 萌芽率가 빠르고 草長이 크고 葉收量이 많았으며, 15±1℃區보다 20±1℃區에서 그리고 水道물보다 Hyponex에서 生育이 良好하였다. 그리고 瀋陽種은 20±1℃區의 Hyponex와 水道물에서 播種後 14日이 經過하면 收穫이 可能하였다. The purpose of this study is to establish a production system for providing fresh leafy garlic in winter season and to obtain data for an easy method of indoor nutriculture of this plant, especially in apartment life. 1. Emergence rates in 15℃ and in 20℃ cultured by Hyponex and by tap water were 100% after 7 and 21 days from planting in Shenyang cultivar, a Southern ecotype, and in Cheju cultivar, a Southern ecotype respectively. Euisung cultivar, a northen ecotype, did not planting uner 15℃ until 7 days from planting, but emerged 85% and 95% after 21 days from planting under 15℃ and 20℃ conditions, respectively. 2. Plant lengths were higher in 20℃ and in Hyponex culture than in 15℃ and in tap water culture, respectively. Shenyang cultivar in 15℃ and 20℃ cultured by Hyponex and tap water ceased to eloongate the leaf and showed chlorosis after 35 days from planting, but Cheju and Euisung cultivars continued to elongate the leaf. The plant length of Shenyang cultivar was especially long as compared with other two cultivars and grew fast. 3. After 21 days from planting, leaf number, diameter of leaf sheath, leaf weight and weight of leaf sheath were higher in 20℃ and in Hyponex culture than in 15℃ and in tap water culture. respecively. Among three cultivars, Shenyang had much more leaves and heavy ones. 4. Comparative crop growth rate(CGR) showed at maximum after 7 days from planting in 15℃ and in 20℃ cultured by Hyponex and by tap water in Shenyang and Cheju cul-tivar while after 14 days from plamting in Euisung cultivar, then decreased gradually afterward. The CGR at maximum was higher in 20℃ and in Hyponex culture than in 15℃ and in tap water cul-ture, respectively. 5. The percentage of contribution of CGR to leaf were increased until 21 days from planting, then decreased gradually afterward in Shenyang and Cheju cultivars, but Euisung showed continu-ous increase. The percentage of contribution of CGR to root declined markedly after 14 days from planting in all three cultivars. 6. Leaf area index(LAI) were high in all three cultivars in 20℃ in Hyponex culture as compared with tap water culture. After 28 days from planting, LAI was 2.0 and 1.0 in Cheju and in Euisung cultivar respectively, comparing with above 4.0 in Shenyang cultivar. 7. In every conditions, Shenyang cultivar exceeded in emerging date, plant length and leaf produc-tion, and the growth was better in 20℃ and in Hyponex culture than in 15℃ and in tap water cul-ture, respectively. After 14 days from planting, Shenyang cultivar was possible to harvest in 20℃ cultured by Hyponex and by tap water.

      • The Computer Algebra Systems in Mathematics Education : A Review of Recent Research

        This study examines the potential role for Computer Algebra Systems(CAS) in such an educational context, particularly their potential to get students more engaged in the learning of mathematics as well as to reduce the "strangle hold" of prerequisite algebraic skills, in courses such as functions, introductory calculus. What is the present status of and near-future outlook for computer algebra in Korean secondary schools? The answer that arises from this review of available fact is: bright with promise, but still dim. Several recent developments have set the stage for an acceleration in the dissemination rate for CAS to high schools. However, this review of some past and present conditions indicates that many years will pass before computer algebra is impacting high school mathematics as much as hand-held calculators are doing now.

        감성돔(Acanthopagrus schlegeli) 유래의 주화세포의 확립과 확립된 세포의 특성

        감성돔 (Acanthopagrus schlegeli)의 비장에서 주화세포인 BSBS를 확립하고 세포의 특성을 검사하였다. BSBS세포는 60회 이상의 계대배양이 가능하였고 형태학적으로는 상피성 세포였다. 세포는 20℃, 10%의 FBS가 든 L-15배지에서 배양하는 조건에서 잘 자랐다. BSBS세포는 해양버나바이러스 (MABY Y-6), 잉어의 봄바이러스병바이러스 (SVCV), 넙치의 랍도바이스(HIRRV)와 연어바이러스 (CSV)를 접종했을 때 세포변성효과가 나타났다. 새로 확립된 주화세포는 앞으로 많은 바이러스병의 연구에 유용하게 사용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. A stable cell line, BSBS (black seabream spleen), was established from the cells in spleen of black seabream, Acanthopagrus schlegeli, and characterized. Subculture maintained more than 60 passages and mophologically, BSBS cell was epithelioid cell. The cells grew optimally at 20℃ in Leibovitz's L-15 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum with incubation temperature of 20℃. BSBS cells supported the growth of marine birnavirus (MABV Y-6), chum salmon reovirus (CSV), spring viremia of carp virus (SVCV) and hirame rhabdovirus (HIRRV). Thus, the new cell line may be useful for studying wide range of fish viruses.

      • 무선 ATM망에서 PCS를 이용한 멀티미디어 서비스 제공 방안

        This paper presents an ATM based transport architecture for next-generation multimedia services in personal communication networks(PCN). Multimedia services via wireless networks are motivated by an anticipated demand for wireless extensions to future broadband networks. An ATM based wireless network concept is explored as an architectural viewpoint for supporting B-ISDN services. The proposed system uses a hierarchical ATM switching network for interconnection of PCN microcells, each of which is serviced by high-speed, shared access radio links based on ATM-compatible cell relay principles. Design issues related to the physical layer, media access control(MAC) layer and data link layer of the ATM-based radio link are discussed, and preliminary technical approaches are identified in each case. Also, this paper concludes with a brief view of related supporting scenario for a seamless wired plus wireless multimedia networking environment.

      • CT기술의 지역가입자망 적용방안

        CT-2(Cordless Telephone-II) 서비스는 통신망 구축의 용이성, 저렴한 사용료, 기지국 설치의 용이성, 주파수 활용 용량의 증가 등 많은 장점에도 불구하고 발신전용이라는 제약을 갖고 있다. 이를 보완하기 위하여 착신전용 서비스인 무선 호출 서비스와 연계하여 착발신이 가능한 양방향 전화서비스가 개발되고 있어서, 셀룰러 전화와 PCS(Personal Communication System)전화에 대비하여 상대적인 기능 부족을 만회할 수 있게 되었으며, 지역 무선 가입자망 구성을 위한 유력한 대안으로 기대되고 있다. 따라서, CT계열의 최종목표인 착발신은 물론 데이터 전송 등 다양한 기능이 가능하며, 저렴한 보행자 위주의 협대역 개인 휴대 통신의 실현과 향후 초고속정보통신망 구축시 기존에 포설된 CT계열의 지역 무선 가입자망을 통하여, 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 수용할 수 있게 하기 위하여 지역 무선 가입자망 적용을 위한 방안이 제시되어야한다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 CT 계열 통신 서비스의 특성을 분석하고, 향후 초고속 정보통신망 구축시 기존에 포설된 CT 계열 서비스를 지역 무선 가입자망을 통하여, 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 수용할 수 있는 네트워크의 설계와 핵심기능 및 기술항목을 도출하고 CT기술의 지역 가입자망 적용 방안을 제시한다.
