The documentary film has been accepted in the past as a genre, that should possess the marginal position in the cinematheque or night program of the TV. Because the spectators have avoided the documentary film on the grounds, that the enlightening intention and the social critical viewpoint of the film are excessively educative or just boring. But some documentary films recently appear, that are playing in mainstream theaters and get even a commercial success. This new status of documentary film can be founded I the german cinema. The most proper example for this is 〈Full Metal Village〉(2007) by Sung-Hyung Cho, Korean women director, who lives as an immigrant in Germany. This film shows ‘Wacken’, a small village in the north of Germany, and the story focuses on the ‘Wacken Open Air’, the most popular heavy metal concert worldwide. But this film is not a report on heavy metal music, this is a documentary about cultural tradition of a ‘good petit bourgeois’ and beauty of the country. And this documentary film is about the gaze of a stranger that stands to the cultural coexistence after the collision between folksy devicefulness and crazy music(-fans). This documentary film is above all interesting because the director, as can be seen in the intro, define her work as a ‘Heimatfilm’. But the ‘Heimatfilm’ belongs to the typical fiction genre, not to the documentary genre. Therefore this film should be studied in the point of view, how it in process of asking about cultural identity discloses the identity of the documentary genre, and how it in procedure of describing of the coexistence of traditional culture and counterculture tries an alternative approaching to the documentary genre. Thus the director, Sung-Hyung Cho, suggests whit her work an alternative from the perspective of expansion of documentary genre definition.

근 수 년간 클라이언트/서버 모델에서 발생하는 문제인 서버 병목 현상, DoS (Denial of Service) 공격, 그리고 시스템의 확장성에 따르는 비용 증가 등의 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 P2P (Peer to Peer) 방식이 활발히 연구되고 있다. P2P 방식을 사용하는 모델은 기존의 클라이언트/서버 모델이 적용되었던 여러 분야에 이용되고 있다. 그 중 사용자간 파일 공유하는 분야에 적용된 P2P가 가장 널리 알려져 있다. P2P 파일 공유 네트워크에서 가장 중요한 이슈는 검색의 효율성이다. 검색의 효율성을 위해 제안된 가장 효과적인 접근법으로는 DHT(Distributed Hash Table)을 사용한 검색 기법이다. 이 방식에서 메시지 라우팅은 정보의 검색과 분산을 위해 사용되고, 메시지 라우팅 성능은 라우팅 Hop 수에 의해 결정된다. 그러나 기존의 접근법에서는 라우팅 Hop 수를 감소시키는 능력이 부족하다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 네트워크 식별자와 노드의 그룹화에 의해 메시지 라우팅 성능을 개선하기 위한, DHT를 사용한 P2P 파일 공유 네트워크를 제안한다. 노드의 그룹화는 메시지 라우팅 Hop을 감소시키고, 한 노드 내에 많은 노드를 나타내어 확장성을 갖고 있다고 할 수 있다. 실험에는 네트워크 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 증가된 확장성과 성능의 개선을 보였다.

The purpose of this study was test utility of 10% rule in assessment of hand grasp strength. The 10% rule states that the dominant hand possesses a 10% greater grip strength than the non-dominant hand. The subjects for this study consisted of 50 male 50 female college students who agreed participate in this study. Grasp or grip strength was measured with a factory-calibrated hand dynamometer(Preston Co. production) for cylindrical grasp and JAMAR dynamometer for tip pinch strength. Results showed an 14.60% strength of cylindrical grasp and 10.61% strength of tip pinch difference between dominant and non-dominant hands. Second showed that the 10% rule is valid for right handed person. except cylindrical strength of female and tip pinch strength of male. Further research is necessary to determine the characteristics according to hand size and graspping time.

Backgrounds and Objectives: Vascular dementia is a group of dementing disoders arising from various stroke syndrome. Among these. subcortical ischemic vascular dementia (SIVD) is regarded as a relatively distinct clinical entity. However, MRI patterns of SIVD are not homogenous. In some patients, lacunes are dominant, and in others, subcortical white matter changes are. This study was designed to compare risk factor profiles between SIVD with and without multiple lacunes. Methods: We divided 47 subjects (22 males, mean age. 68 years) recruited from VADAPET (Multicenter Trial For Evaluation Of The Changes In the PET Images Of Subcortical Vascular Dementia Patient) study into two groups one with more than 5 lacunes in deep gray matter (lacune group) and the other with 5 or less(non-lacune group) Clinical characteristics and laboratory findings of two groups were compared. Results: Nineteen of 47 patients (40%) belonged to the lacune group. The lacune and non-lacune groups d d not differ in the following variables: age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia heart disease, history of stroke or TIA, history of trauma or major surgery, family history of hypertension stroke, or dementia, age at diagnosis of dementia, body mass index, white blood cell count, ESR, CRP, fibrinogen, hemoglobin A1C, total cholesterol. LDL cholesterol creatinine, proteinuria, glucosuria, and microhematuria. However, male sex, smoking alcohol. hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol were possibly associated more with lacune group SIVD than with non-lacune group (p<0 1) Multivariate analyses revealed that smoking, hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol were independent predictors of SIVD with multiple lacunes Conclusion: Our study suggests that SIVD with multiple lacunes may be significantly different in smoking habits hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol from SIVD without multiple lacunes.

The bioequivalence of two nicotine patches was evaluated in 16 normal male volunteers (age 21∼27 yrs) following single transdermal application. Test product was "Nicostop patch" made by Sam Yang Co. and reference product was "Nicotinell TTS patch" made by Korean Searle Ciba-Geigy Co. After nicotine patches were applied onto the inside of the forearm, blood was taken at predetermined time intervals and the nicotine concentration in plasma was determined with a sensitive GC method using NPD detector. AUC and C_max the differences in AUC and C_max between two products were 5.47% and 2.70%, respectively. The powers (1-β) for AUC and C_max were >90% and 88.76%, respectively. Detectable differences(△) and confidence intervals were all less than 20%. All of these parameters met the criteria of KFDA for bioequivalence, indicating that "Nicostop patch" is bioequivalent to "Nicotinell TTS patch".

비파괴적 분석법을 활용한 활음진 함유 에멀젼의 인체효능평가

최근 한방화장품이 각광을 받으면서 한방에서 말하는 피부개선효과에 대한 적절한 평가법을 찾는 연구가 많이 수행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 피부 항산화 효과가 우수한 산사자, 당귀, 홍화, 두충, 숙지황의 초임계추출물 (활음진, 活陰眞)의 혈액순환 개선효과를 적외선 열화상 이미지 분석 및 LaserDoppler Perfusion Imager를 이용한 분석을 통해 평가하였다. 평소 손발이 차가운 여성 11명을 대상으로 활음진을 포함한 에멀젼을 1주일간 도포하게 하였으며, 도포전과 1주일간 사용한 후 피부 온도와 혈류량을 비교하였다. 그 결과 얼굴의 피부 온도가 증가하였고, 이마, 눈위, 뺨정면 부위에서 시료 사용 후 유의한 증가를 보였다. 본 연구를 통하여 활음진 성분을 포함한 에멀젼의 혈액순환 개선효과를 확인하였을 뿐만 아니라 한방적 접근을 통한 피부개선효과를 평가하는데 적절한 실험모델을 수립하였다.

The bioequivalence of two aceclofenac tablets was evaluated in 14 normal volunteers (age 21∼29yrs) following oral administration. The test product was "Apental tablet" made by Asia Pharmaceutical Co. and the reference was "Airtal tablet" made by Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co.. After one tablet containing 100 mg aceclofenac was administered, blood was taken at predetermined time intervals and the concentration of the drug in plasma was quantitated with an HPLC method. AUC, C_max and T_max were calculated and statistically analyzed for the bioequivalence of the two products. The results showed that the differences in AUC, C_max and T_max between two products were 4.23%, 2.15% and 0%, respectively. The powers for AUC, C_max and T_max were >90%,>90% and 85.8%, respectively. Confidence intervals were within ±20% for three parameters. All of these parameters met the criteria of KFDA for bioequivalence, indicating that "Apental tablet" is bioequivalent to "Airtal tablet". (Kor. J. Clin. Pharm. 1999; 9(1): 44-48)
