Rhodopseudomonas sphaeroides의 고정화균체에 의한 수소생산의 효율적 기질공급

Rhodopseudomonas sphaeroides B6 세포를 agar gel 중에 고정했을 때, 수소생산을 위한 최적 agar 농도는 2%(w/v)였다. B6의 2% agar gel 고정화균체(300㎖ gel: 2.85 ㎎ dry cells/㎖)와 비고정세포(1ℓ culture: 0.87㎎ dry cells/㎖)에 있어서 초기의 최고 수소 생산활성은 각각 47.5 및 48.O ㎖/hr/culture로 거의 같았다. 그러나, 수소생산이 거의 정지된 배양후기에 lactate의 제한공급(10mmole)에 의한 비고정세포의 활성회복은 50% 이하로 감소되었지만, 고정화세포의 활성은 거의 초기상태로 회복되었다. B6의 고정화균체를 이용하여 12시간 주기의 광조사 조건으로, 매 1ℓ의 수소생산시 마다 그에 소비된 만큼의 기질에 상당하는 9.3mmole의 DL-lactate와 1.86 mmole의 L-glutamate 함유 기본배지를 주기적으로 공급한 결과, 228시간의 배양기간 동안 명암의 반복 조건에도 불구하고 평균 510 ㎖/day/300㎖ ge1(2.9 ㎎ dry cells/㎖)의 속도로 수소생산이 지속되었다. 이 결과는 광합성세균에 의한 수소생산에 있어서, 보다 효율적 기질공급과 가변적인 태양광 이용 조건에 대응되는 자동배양 시스템의 구성 가능성을 시사한다. The Photosynthetic bacterium, Rhodopseudomonas sphaeroides strain B6 was immobilized on agar gel. The optimum concentration of agar for hydrogen production was 2% (w/v). Maximum rates of hydrogen production by immobilized (300㎖ of gel; 2.85㎎ dry cells/㎖) and free cells (1ℓ culture; 0.87㎎ dry cells/㎖) were 47.5 and 48.0 ㎖/hr/culture, respectively. However, when both cultures were fed by 10mmoles of lactate as limited electron donor at the later period of incubation, the activity of hydrogen production by free cells was significantly decreased but, immobilized cells continued hydrogen production with almost the same initial rate. We examined hydrogen production by immobilized cells of strain B6 under periodic illumination for 12 hr-intervals. When the culture was periodically fed by basal medium containing 9.3 mmoles of DL-lactate and 1.86 mmoles of L-glutamate as consumed electron donor and nitrogen source, respectively, for every one liter of hydrogen produced, hydrogen was evolved continuously with the average rate of 510 ㎖/day/300 ㎖ gel (2.9 ㎎ dry cells/㎖) during the incubation time for 228 hr.

This study was carrid out to know correlation between age and balance performance, factors to effect on balance and prepare the basic data in balance performance evaluation clinically. 180 adults without neurosurgical and orthopedic disability from 20 to 79 years of age participated in this study voluntarily. The subjects performed One Legged Stance Test in five conditions 1) eye, open 2) eye close 3) eye open & ear close 4) eye & ear close 5) on sponge. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The mean balance performance time by one legged stance test was 25.97 seconds in eye open, 10.45 seconds in eye close, 23.14 seconds in eye open & ear close, 10.18 seconds in eye & ear close and 23.15 seconds in cm sponge. 2. The balance performance declined according to age increasing. 3. The visual factor effected on balance performance greatly. 4. The auditory factor effected less than visual factor on balance performance 5. The compliant surface effected on balance performance in over-fifty age group greatly.
유체점성 감쇠기가 설치된 철골조 구조물의 지진응답에 관한 연구

수많은 보조의 에너지 소산장치들이 구조물에 작용하는 지진의 해로운 효과를 감소시키기 위해 개발되고 제안되어 왔다. 본 연구는 보조의 유체점성 감쇠기가 설치된 강골조 구조물의 지진거동에 대한 실험과 해석적인 연구에 초점을 맞추었다. 다양한 동적인 하중의 입력에 대한 댐퍼의 동적실험을 통하여, 감쇠기의 역학적 그리고 주파수 특성을 알아본다. 그 다음, 가진 테이블(진동대)을 사용하여 보조의 유체점성감쇠기가 설치된 1층 강골조의 1/3축소모델에 대한 실험을 진행하였다. 실험결과에 따르면, 유체감쇠기는 지진응답을 감소시키는데 매우 효과적이었고, 상용 구조해석프로그램을 사용한 해석결과와 비교적 일치하는 경향을 보였다. Many different supplemental energy dissipating divices have been proposed to assist for reducing harmful effects of earthquakes on structures. This paper presents an experimental and analytical study of seismic behaviors of steel frame with added fluid viscous damper. A series of component tests under various dynamic inputs have been performed to determine the mechanical and frequency characteristics of the damper. Then, Shaking-table tests were conducted on a 1/3 scale model structure one story steel frame with added fluid viscous damper. Experimental results show fluid viscous damper is effective on reducing the seismic response and this results were verified by using common structural analysis program.

본 논문은 논리문장으로 표현된 지식을 처리하는 정리증명 과정에서 증명이 완료되기 전에 잠정적 결론을 유도하는 확률추론 기법을 제시한다. 정리증명 과정 중에 베이지안 해석을 이용하여 지식을 갱신하는 방법을 제시하고, 의사결정 방법을 사용하여 시간에 민감한 사안에 대해 신속하게 대처할 것인지 아니면 고의로 미룰 것인지를 결정하는 방법을 밝힌다. We present a probabilistic reasoning method for inferring knowledge about mathematical truth before an automated theorem prover completes a proof. We use a Bayesian analysis to update beleif in truth, given theorem-proving progress, and show how decision-theoretic methods can be used to determine the value of continuing to deliberate versus taking immediate action in time-critical situations.

국내 공동주택 전단벽 구조시스템에 적용되는 감쇠장치는 대부분 인방형 형상으로 적용되고 있다. 인방형 감쇠장치는 좌우 전단벽을 연결하여 커플링 효과 및 추가 감쇠효과를 발휘하여 구조물 내진성능을 증대시킨다. 본 연구에서는 인방형 감쇠장치를 소개하고 감쇠장치가 적용된 구조물의 거동특성을 파악하였다. 제안된 감쇠장치는 힌지 및 변단면 형상으로 감쇠효과를 극대화시킨 구조로 유한요소 해석결과와 실험결과가 잘 일치하여 우수한 내진성능을 발휘하는 것으로 나타났으며, 해당 감쇠장치가 적용된 2차원 및 실제 공동주택 구조물을 대상으로 감쇠효과를 검토한 결과, 감쇠장치 커플링 효과로 기존구조물 대비 모든 구조물에서 내진성능 향상을 도모할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 검토한 실제 구조물에 대해서는 비선형 정적해석 결과, 강도 및 연성능력이 향상되는 것으로 나타났고, 비선형 동적해석 결과, 층간변형각이 15%~18%, 층가속도가 20%~28%, 밑면전단력이 15%~20% 감소하는 결과를 나타냈다. Building structures of apartment in korea conventionally adopt shear walls using coupling beams as seismic force-resisting systems. Energy dissipating devices employed the building structures are used instead of the coupling beams in order to increase the seismic performances by providing additional damping and stiffness. This study aims to introduce energy dissipating devices which are preferred in structural system and aims to investigate structural behaviors of shear wall structures employing such devices instead of coupling beams. In order for achieve research objectives, Finite Element Analysis and Nonlinear analysis was carry out. Finite Element Analysis results was correspond with experimental results and this is indicated that the device can provide sufficient additional damping and stiffness into shear wall structures. Throughout nonlinear static analyses, examples structures with the devices can enhance seismic performance of building structures due to their sufficient energy dissipating capacities. Especially, strength and ductility capacities were significantly improved when it is compared with the performance of building structures without the devices. Throughout nonlinear dynamic analyses, it was observed that structural damages can be mitigated due to reduced seismic demands for seismic force-resisting systems. It is especially noted due to the fact that story drifts, accelerations, shear demands are reduced by 15~18%, 20~28% and 15~20%, respectively.

The notion of common knowledge and belief plays and important role in such disciplines as artificial intelligence, economics, and politics. We investigate a formalization of common belief in first-order logic. Use of mutual belief, which is a variation of common belief is applied to construct a simple model for processing speech acts. The sketched system is under developing in Prolog.

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between limit of stability and age, height and weight. 83 healthy elderly(male 40, female 43) were measured the limit of stability and demographic characteristics. The results were as follows. 1. Left - right limit of stability was correlated with age in the elderly. 2. Left - right limit of stability was not correlated with the height, weight in the elderly. 3. Anterior-posterior limit of stability was correlated with age, height and weight in the elderly. So it is recommended that high risk groups - more aged people, of elderly should be offered the exercise program for increasing the limit of stability and well-designed studies of proper exercise program for musculoskeletal function and muscle power elevation should be performed.
최적정 기준법에 의한 평면 강골조 구조물의 최적설계에 관한 연구

본 연구는 다중의 변위제한 구속조건을 받는 평면골조의 최적화 문제의 해를 효과적으로 구하는 최적정 기준방법을 제안한다. 설계과정은 구조해석과 최적화의 응용을 포함한다. 가상일의 원리를 사용하여 초기의 음함수 형태의 설계문제를 수리적으로 해를 구할 수 있는 양함수의 형태로 표현한다. 이 양함수의 최적화 문제의 해를 구하기 위하여 최적정 기준방법을 개발하고 부재단면 크기가 수렴할 때까지 적용한다. 자동적으로 부재의 단면크기를 설정하는 기법의 효율성을 설명하기 위하여 평면골조에 대한 최적화를 예시하였다. This study presents an optimality criteria method which accurately and efficiently solves the structural optimization problem of frames subject to multiple drift constraints. The design process involves the coordinate application of structure analysis and optimization. Using the principal of virtual work, the original implicit design problem is expressed in an explicit continuous form that is readily solved numerically. A rigorously derived Optimality Criteria(OC) algorithm is developed to solve the explicit design optimization problem until convergence of member size occurs. Example frames are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the automatic resizing technique.

The purpode of this study was to determine the EMG characteristies of 7 subjects with hemiplegic gait receiving therapeautic exercise after stroke. The skin electrode and gait analysis system were used. The normal gait of 6 health volunteers was analysised. The results were following. l. Gluteus maximus, the extensor of hip joint had high level of activity compared to normal, and had two peak in late stance phase and early swing phase. 2. Medial hamstring, the flexor of knee joint had law level of activity compared to normal, and had continuous low amplitude pattern. 3. Vastus lateralis, the extensor of knee joint had high level of activity compared to normal, and had not continuous high amplitude. From early stance phase and mid stance phase, activity had high level but after swing phase, similar to normal. 4. Gastrocnemius, plantar flexor of ankle ,joint had law level of activity compared to normal and had continuous low amplitude. 5. Tibialis anterior, dorsiflexor of ankle joint had similar muscle activity to normal and had continuous low amplitude.

We use a meta-logical framework to formalize artificial reasoning agents, where each agent can avoid the logical omniscience problem by resoning about its own resources such as knowledge, capabilities, and time. An agent can be modeled as the belief-desire-intention architecture in order to reason about its own internal states of mind as well as the world. The main result presented in this paper might be how the meta-logical formalism can be applied to construct and intelligent agent, and accommodated to reason epistemically.
