Purpose: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer in China and poses high morbidity and mortality. In recentyears, increasing evidence has indicated that microRNAs played important functions in the occurrence and development of tumors. The purpose of this study was to identify the biological mechanisms of miR-362 in CRC. Materials and Methods: Quantitative real-time PCR was carried out to assess the expression of miR-362 and SIX1. The Kaplan-Meier method was employed to evaluate the 5-year overall survival of CRC patients. The proliferative and invasive abilities of CRCcells were assessed by MTT and transwell assays. Results: miR-362 was significantly decreased in CRC tissues and cell lines, compared to the normal tissues and normal cells. Asignificant connection was confirmed between the overall survival of 53 CRC patients and low expression of miR-362. Downregulationof miR-362 inhibited the proliferation and invasion through binding to the 3'-UTR of SIX1 mRNA in CRC. Additionally, wediscovered that SIX1 was a direct target gene of miR-362 and that the expression of miR-362 had a negative connection with SIX1expression in CRC. SIX1 could reverse partial functions in the proliferation and invasion in CRC cells. Conclusion: miR-362 may be a prognostic marker in CRC and suppress CRC cell proliferation and invasion in part through targetingthe 3'-UTR of SIX1 mRNA. The newly identified miR-362/SIX1 axis provides insight into the progression of CRC.

이 연구는 세월호 사고 이후 변화하고 있는 국민의 안전의식에 부합하여 여객선에서의 안전을 향상시키기 위한 방안으로 여객선 안전장비 기준과 여객선에 설치되는 주요 안전장비별 기준을 분석하고, 여객선 탈출 장비 사용에 따른 소요시간을 비교 분석하여 비상 시 승객이 여객선에서 탈출하는 시간을 단축할 수 있는 방안을 고찰하였다. 여객선 탈출 장비는 구명정, 구조정, 데비트형 구명뗏목, 투하식 구명뗏목, 해상탈출설비(MES) 등 다양하지만 국내를 운항하는 여객선의 경우에는 대부분이 투하식 구명뗏목을 설치하고 있다. 비상 시 탈출시간은 연령별, 성별, 장비관련 교육 이수 여부, 부상여부에 따라서 차이를 보이기 때문에 증가하는 크루즈 여행객과 연안에 거주하는 인구의 고령화에 따라 증가하는 노약자 여객의 비상 시 안전을 확보하기 위해서는 여객선 피난장비를 설치할 때 교통약자에 대한 배려가 필요하다. 따라서 교통약자를 포함한 모든 여객선 승선인원이 쉽고, 빠르고, 안전하게 선박을 탈출할 수 있도록 해상탈출설비를 추가적으로 설치할 필요가 있다. As a way to improve the safety of passenger ships in accordance with the safety awareness of the people that has increased since the Sewol accident, this study discusses ways to shorten the time to evacuate from the passenger ship through analysis of the standards of passenger ships’ lifesaving appliances and comparison of Embarkation and Launching duration(E+L) in several types of survival crafts. There are various lifesaving appliances including lifeboats, rescue boats, davit launched liferafts, inflatable liferafts and MES that can be installed on passenger ships. However, most of local passenger ships are equipped with inflatable liferafts. Escape times vary according to age, gender, equipment, training and injuries and the number of elderly people using passenger ships is increasing due to an increase in the number of cruise travelers and an aging population living on the coast in Korea. Thus, in order to secure the safety of passengers in case of emergency, consideration should be given to the mobility disadvantaged persons when installing passenger ship evacuation system. Therefore, it is necessary to consider installing MES additionally to make it easier, quicker and safer to escape the ship and to ensure the safety of everyone on board.

This study aimed to investigate antioxidant activity of various extracts from fruiting bodies and mycelia of two Phellinus linteus strains and P. baumii. The Phellinus strains have cultivated on oak and mulberry logs. The fruiting bodies species were harvested from each Phellinus strain and used in this study. The tested items include: 2, 2’-azinobis[3-ethylbenzthiazoline]-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS), free radical scavenging assay and determination of total phenolics contents (TPC), ferric reducing antioxidant power assay (FRAP), and DPPH (1, 1-diphenyl-2- picrylhydrazyl) radical-scavenging activities. Different extractions with 60% Ethyl alcohol, 70% methyl alcohol and heat water were done on the mycellial and fruiting bodies samples of the mushroom species. The methyl alcohol extraction from fruiting body of P. linteus KACC93057P displayed the highest antioxidant activity on ABTS, FRAP, and DPPH assays. The ethyl acetate fraction was concentrated and subjected to an ODS column chromatography, followed by Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. Finally six compounds 1-6 were detected by preparative reversed-phase HPLC.
Antibacterial Effect of Silver and Gold Nanoparticle Coated Modified C-Palatal Plate

<P>The goal of this study was to investigate antibacterial properties and cell viability of a covalently immobilized gold and silver nanoparticle coated titanium modified C-palatal plate (MCPP) surfaces. Silver and gold nanoparticle-coated titanium (Ti-nAg, Ti-nAu) surfaces were prepared using the silanization method. The amount of deposited nanoparticles (NPs), surface morphology, and chemical component analysis of the surfaces were characterized. The antibacterial qualities of the Ti-nAg and Ti-nAu surfaces were tested on Porphyromonas gingivalis (P. ginginalis) and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans (A. actinomycetemcomitans). The cytotoxicity of the treated surfaces to NIH3T3 cells was assessed. The Ti-nAg surface had remarkable antibacterial effect compared to the Ti-nAu. However, it showed cell cytotoxicity after 2 days of incubation, whereas Ti-nAu displayed better cell compatibility.</P>

N/A Alkaline powder cleaning agents (APCAs) were prepared by blending of Na_(2)Co_(3), tetrasodium pyrophosphate (TSPP). sodium orthosilicate (Na-OSi), Na-dioctyl sulfosuccinate (303C), Demol C, and MJU-100A (100A). The physical properties of APCAs tested with steel specimen showed the following results. The cleaning powers of APCA-6(Na_(2)Co_(3) 250g/TSPP 70g/Na-OSi 40g/303C 60g/Demol C 50g/100A 30g mixture) for press-rust preventing oil was 97% and 98% degreasing at 2wt%, 70℃ and 90℃, respectively; for quenching oil, the cleaning power of APCA-6 was 95% degreasing at 2wt% and 70℃. From the results, it was ascertained that APCA-6 exhibited a good cleaning power. Also low foaming power tests proved that APCA-6 maintained good defoaming effect.
실차 측정 정보를 이용한 군용 차량의 다물체 동역학 모델링 및 검증

군용 차량의 경우 야지 주행에 대한 성능 시험이 필수적인데 실차 시험의 경우 비용과 시간에 의한 제약을 받게 되므로, 시뮬레이션을 통한 성능 분석이 효율적이다. 본 연구에서는 상용 다물체 해석 프로그램인 MSC.ADAMS 를 이용하여 차량 모델을 개발한다. 타이어 수직 강성 시험을 수행하고 FTire 모델에 반영하여 타이어 모델을 생성한다. 댐퍼의 경우 비선형 특성 시험을 통해 얻은 결과를 반영하여 댐퍼를 모델링 하였으며, 겹판 스프링은 빔 요소 모델로 차량 모델을 구성한다. 단순 장애물 통과 시험 및 파형로 통과 시험을 수행하고 가속도 응답 및 휠 하중 응답 분석을 통해 차량 모델의 신뢰성을 검증하였다. It is essential to perform driving performance tests of military vehicles on rough terrain. A full car test is limited by cost and time constraints, because of which a dynamic analysis via computer simulation is preferred. In this study, a vehicle model is developed using MSC.ADAMS, a commercial multibody analysis program, and compared via experiments . FTire is modeled using the results of a tire performance test to obtain the vertical stiffness. A nonlinear damper is modeled by a characteristic experiment. Leaf springs are modeled with beam force elements and consisted to a vehicle model . The vertical force and acceleration response of the wheel are identified when vehicle is passing over a simple bump as well as a sinusoidal road. The developed vehicle model is verified with the results of a full car test.
