        The present research was conducted with the athletes of G city's business team in order to show an ideal model of throwing, analysing in a kinematic method the time, the speed between Back Swing and Follow Through in throwing motion of Bowling The conclusion of this research(study) is a follows. 1. It was found that the time required in Release is longer than that in Back Swing, and the pace of the last Release motion is 90cm longer than that of Back Swing. It was Known that this is for study throwing in release 2. After the subjects raised the center of the human body to increase momentum with speed of the ball at the time of Back Swing and at the moment of Release they stayed in a low posture 3. The speed of their trunk and hands in Back Swing is higher than that in release

      • 12주간 운동유형별 트레이닝이 중년남성의 신체구성과 혈액성분에 미치는 영향

        This study applied aerobic and non-aerobic exercises to middle-aged men for 12 weeks, suggested effective exercise types based on its influences on their physical composition and Hood lipid and aimed at providing the information to prevent adult diseases. It selected total 60 subjects including 30 non-aerobic exercise group and 30 aerobic exercise group at Health Club in G metropolitan city, calculated the mean and standard deviation using statistical program SPSS 11.0 after l2-week training, conducted t-test (paired sample t-test) for differential test before and after exercise and obtained the following conclusions. 1. According to the change of girth by exercise types, aerobic exercise group showed -1.10 ㎝ decrease in mean difference before and after exercise and non-aerobic exercise group showed 1.18 ㎝ increase, but aerobic and non-aerobic exercise groups showed significant decrease in the changes of lumbar, back and thigh parts (p<.01). 2. According to the changes of fat thickness by exercise types, aerobic exercise group showed 1.31㎜ increase before and after exercise (p<.05) and non-aerobic exercise group showed 0.67㎜ increase. In abdominal exercise, aerobic exercise group showed 2.52㎜ increase and non-aerobic group did 1.92㎜ increase (p<.01). 3. According to the changes of blood components by exercise group, aerobic and non-aerobic exercise group showed significant increase in TC, LDL-C, TG and G before and after exercise and both groups showed significant decrease in HDL-C and Hb.

      • 동진강 유역의 농업활동에 의한 수질변화와 실측부하량

        The entire duration of the research work was from December-2000 to July-2002. Site measurement were conducted during various season, in a dry season(December), in rainfall, in seed-sowing time and also collecting data from the rural public organizations related to water management was done and examined during the mid of research work. Generally, the Dong Jin River watershed contains small three Creeks, KoBu, DongJin(including JeongEup and ChilBo, WonPyong). It was further divided into 32 sub-watersheds which comprises of further 5, 18, 9 watersheds in the creeks respectively. Inflow loading to the river was calculated from measurement of general water quality and quantity and these field surveys were made thrice times in agricultural drainage channels, where fertilizers and pesticides leaching from the surface have an direct effect for the deterioration of the several creek and river. Estimation of contaminant loading has been done by using unit loading based on the notification No. 1999 - 143 of the Ministry of Environment. Most of estimated loading data reported during the research work were slightly higher when compared with the notification of the Ministry but they do not have any significant effect. It was assumed that sub-watersheds have considerable field survey loading data, which were affected due to non-point source pollution load as compared to point source. For investigation of surface rainfall ranging from .50㎜ during non-farming or .10 rainfall on the period of farming, BOD loadings in the field during farming showed slightly higher levels in comparison with discharge loadings, T-N also showed the similar trend as discussed earlier.

      • UV 광산화 공정 및 광촉매 공정을 이용한 벤젠 및 톨루엔 가스의 처리

        Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are widely used in both industrial and domestic activities. This extensive use results in adverse effect in aquatic, soil and atmospheric environments. Conventional methods for treating VOCs from gas streams, such as absorption, adsorption, condensation and thermal /catalytic incineration all have their inherent limitations and none are definitely cost-effective to treat emissions from the small workplace such as architectural coating, printing, and dry cleaning. In this study, photooxidation-photocatalytic oxidation process was applied in the decomposition of VOCs and benzene and toluene, typical VOCs in industrial area, which were adapted as experimental gases. In photooxidation process, the decomposition efficiency of benzene and toluene was evaluated by varying different conditions, such as UV output, flowrate and background gas. The results showed that the decomposition efficiency of benzene and toluene increased considerably with increasing UV output and retention time. In case of background gas, the decomposition efficiency in standard air was higher than that in nitrogen. In photooxidation-photocatalytic oxidation process, the decomposition efficiency was higher than that in photooxidation process and the concentration of ozone generated from photooxidation reactor was drastically decreased after photocatalytic oxidation process. From this study, the results indicate that photooxidation-photocatalytic oxidation process is ideal for treatment of benzene and toluene from the small workplace. But further process optimization must be achieved to apply this process in workplace.

      • 과도 절삭에서의 절삭 공정 시뮬레이션

        In most of the existing mechanistic models, the cutting process simulation is often restricted to a single path machining operation under a fixed cutting condition. Complex cutting processes such as die or mold manufacturing, however, are performed under two- or three-dimensional multiple tool paths. Since the tool paths in CNC machining are composed of line and arc segments, transient cuts are frequently occured due to the multiple paths. Even in steady cuts, the width of cut is varied with each segment. In this regard, this paper deals with the development of process simulation system for transient cuts, where continuously changing cutting configuration is computed, and then the cutting forces are predicted.

        In this paper, we proposed efficient BILBO (built In logic block observation), named EBILBO. It is desigend and synthesized to operate the autonomous mode for BlST(buit-in self test) on the sequential circuit. Thus, It reduced test time on a large circuit with many storage cells and prcpsed EBILBO is easily implemented with VHDL coding by behavioral description. And the proposed EBILBO is avaliable to make library for DFT(design for testaility).

        인공 치아우식 발생 모델에서 디지털 방사선 공제술을 이용한 인접면 치아우식증의 진단

        Purpose : The purpose of the experiment was to evaluating the diagnostic ability of dental caries detection using digital subtraction in the artificial caries activity model. Materials and Methods : Digital radiographies of five teeth with 8 proximal surfaces were obtained by CCD sensor (Kodak RVG 6100 using a size #2). The digital radiographic images and subtraction images from artificial proximal caries were examined and interpreted. In this study, we proposed novel caries detection method which could diagnose the dental proximal caries from single digital radiographic image. Results : In artificial caries activity model, the range of lesional depth was 572-1,374 μm and the range of lesional area was 36.95-138.52mm². The lesional depth and the area were significantly increased with demineralization time (p<0.001). Furthermore, the proximal caries detection using digital subtraction radiography showed high detection rate compared to the proximal caries examination using simple digital radiograph. Conclusion : The results demonstrated that the digital subtraction radiography from single radiographic image of artificial caries was highly efficient in the detection of dental caries compared to the data from simple digital radiograph.

        치과병원에서 사용되는 진단영상에 대한 JPEG 2000 압축률에 대한 평가

        Purpose : To find out the proper compression ratios without degrading image quality and affecting lesion detectability on diagnostic images used in dentistry compressed with JPEG 2000 algorithm. Materials and Methods : Sixty Digora periapical images, sixty panoramic computed radiographic (CR) images, sixty computed tomographic (CT) images, and sixty magnetic resonance (MR) images were compressed into JPEG 2000 with ratios of 10 levels from 5 : 1 to 50 : 1. To evaluate the lesion detectability, the images were graded with 5 levels (1: definitely absent; 2: probably absent; 3: equivocal; 4: probably present; 5: definitely present), and then receiver operating characteristic analysis was performed using the original image as a gold standard. Also to evaluate subjectively the image quality, the images were graded with 5 levels (1: definitely unacceptable; 2: probably unacceptable; 3: equivocal; 4: probably acceptable; 5: definitely acceptable), and then paired t-test was performed. Results : In Digora, CR panoramic and CT images, compressed images up to ratios of 15 : 1 showed nearly the same lesion detectability as original images, and in MR images, compressed images did up to ratios of 25 : 1. In Digora and CR panoramic images, compressed images up to ratios of 5 : 1 showed little difference between the original and reconstructed images in subjective assessment of image quality. In CT images, compressed images did up to ratios of 10 : 1 and in MR images up to ratios of 15 : 1. Conclusion : We considered compression ratios up to 5 : 1 in Digora and CR panoramic images, up to 10 : 1 in CT images, up to 15 : 1 in MR images as clinically applicable compression ratios.
