Active R biquadratic filters having no external capacitors are more amenable to integration, more accurate and more stable than active RC filters. But those are suitable for high frequency operation and medium-Q. In this paper a new active R filter circuit is proposed, which can be easily tuned over the wide frequency ranges of pole parameters by varying only the resitance ratios, and has low-sensitivities to all the passive and active elements. This circuit provides two types of secondorder filters; lowpass and bandpass.

A new representation is found in this paper for computing the moments of the noncentral chi-square random variables. It is shown that the moments can be expressed as a polynomial whose coefficients satisfy a straightforward recurrence relation.

The purpose of this research was to investigate effects of Sa-Kunja-Tang(SKT) on immune cells of antitumor drugs administered mice. The apoptosis and T lymphocytes subpopulation were tested using a flow cytometry, and the proliferation was tested using a MTT assay. The administration of etoposide. vincristine or doxorubicin increased the apoptosis of T-lymphocytes, but the action of doxorubicin was decreased by the administration of SKT. The administration of etoposide or vincristine decreased helper T and cytotoxic T cells population of T lymphocytes, but the action of vincristine was recovered by the administration of SCT. The administration of etoposide, vincristine or doxorubicin decreased the proliferation of T-lymphocytes, but the action of doxorubicin was increased by the administration of SKT. These results suggest that SKT has a regulative function of T-lymphocytes in anti-tumor drugs administered mice.

Grover's formula had played an important role to develop the theory for descent of the undergroundwater level in the underdrainage. Fall velocity of the underground water level gives a big effect to the cultivation of crops in the wet land. As a result of Grover's theory into pratice, Dr Yamazaki Hujio had found that was a big error. As applicating in experiment plots to Grover's fomula, obtained results are as follows. 1. As you see in the table(1), the result of experiment of Dr Yamazaki Hujio was existent higher value of v than the result of Grover's fomula. The result of fomula(Yc=127e-0.0496t) which resolved to apply a big value of v is existent a calculation mistake. it has been found a phenomenon that the water go not down into the underground, conversely going up. 2. As you see in the table(1),(2),(3) compared with Grover's fomula(1),(2) the value of y_c is a big error in regard to the value of t. 3. As you see in the table(3), (4) the result of applicating in my experiment plots, Grover's fomula is approximate with regard to the actual value.

The speed characteristics of self-excited single-phase induction Generator using Three-Phase Squirrel-Case Induction Machine which has only two series capacitors with respect to the load are analyzed in this paper. The symmetrical component method and the condition of equivalent circuit are applied to develop an equivalent model of this generators. The speed characteristics of this generator are computed by using this model and compared with those of the self-regulated generators.

Objectives : In the present study, we investigate the association between homozygosity of the 4-repeat allele (4/4) at the DRD4 and the response to the treatment with MPH in Korean children with ADHD. Methods : The present study included 71 children with ADHD (8.231.78 years) from two children's psychiatric clinics in South Korea. All drug-naive children with ADHD were treated with MPH for about 8 weeks. The subjects who showed improvement of over 50% compared with the baseline ARS score after 8 weeks of treatment were termed as the 'good response' group. The subjects who showed an improvement of less than 50% were considered as the 'poor response' group. After genotyping for DRD4 were performed, we investigated correlation between homozygosity for 4-repeat allele at DRD4 and the response to MPH treatment. Results : We found that while 79.5% (31/39) of the subjects with homozygosity of 4-repeat allele at DRD4 showed good response to MPH treatment, 68.8% (22/32) of the subjects without homozygosity of 4-repeat allele at DRD4 showed poor response to MPH treatment according to ARS scores assessed by their parents (χ²= 16.762, df= 1, p<0.01). We also found that while 61.5% (24/39) of the subjects with homozygosity of 4-repeat allele at DRD4 showed good response to MPH treatment, 87.5% (28/32) of the subjects without homozygosity of the 4-repeat allele at DRD4 showed poor response to MPH treatment according to ARS scores assessed by their teachers (χ²= 17.698, df= 1, P<0.01). Conclusion : Our findings support an association between the homozygosity of 4-repeat allele and a good response to MPH in ADHD of Koreans.

This study is prepared to introduce design quality improvement measures by the trend and cause analysis of design changes which have been made during operations of construction project for power plant. In this study, two types of analysis tool have mainly taken for the use of the improvement measures. One tool is the trend analysis to identify which action should be taken to cut down design changes. This is also useful to monitor whether project participant's endeavour for the action taken is effective or not, to the project performance and design quality improvement. The other is the cause analysis, by using cause and effect diagram, which is useful to identify main causes of the design changes and to establish the measures to reduce recurrence of the design changes.
골프장의 잔디 토양에서 살균제 Tolclofosmethyl의 분해

Tolclofosmethyl (TCFM) is heavily and annually applied to the turf soils of most golf courses in Gyeongju to control the fungi known to cause the disease brown patch. The soil samples used for the experiment was collected three weeks after the annual application at the end of May in the year 2002. The preliminary results obtained from this study demonstrated that the repeated field annual applications of TCFM to the turf soils of a golf course located in Gyeongju city in the southern area of Korea showed the enhanced degradation of the parent compound TCFM, especially in the surface (0~15 cm) soil rather than the shallow subsurface (15~30 cm) and deep subsurface (30~45 cm) soils, compared to the corresponding surface (0~15 cm) and shallow and deep subsurface (15~30 cm and 30~45 cm) soils of the untreated plot. It appears that microorganisms in the soil may be involved in the enhanced degradation of TCFM.
