        This paper reports a suitable operating mode and condition through the economic and exergy analysis to a cogeneration power plant cycle with computer simulation. The exergy analysis that permits to predict the exergy losses in each component furnishes information to the quantity and the place of exergy loss. The simulation condition is to generate constant electricity in spite of the load change of process steam when the supply of process steam and pressure of condenser is changed, devided with sixteen kinds of operating modes according to the ratio of process steam by the auxiliary boiler to steam extracted from the high pressure turbine. Performing the computer simulation for the economic and exergy analysis with above condition, the results show that a cogeneration efficiency is increased as process steam supply is increased and the ratio of process steam by auxiliary boiler is decreased. Oherwise, a economics rate and a cogeneration efficiency are decreased as the pressure of the condenser is increased. And the boiler and the condenser have about 96 to 98 percent of the total exergy losses in a cogeneration power plant cycle.

        The incidence of hematologic disorders in patients with Down's syndrome is significantly increased, about 14∼30 - fold higher than in general population and includes neonatal transient abnormal myelopoieis and acute leukemias. The age of onset of leukemia in Down's syndrome is peaking first in the newborn period and then under 4 years of age. Down's syndrome with acute leukemia above the age of 20 is very rare and it's treatment oucome is unclear. The treatment of Down's syndrome with leukemia has been controversial because of toxicity and associated congenital cardiac and other abnormalities. But if treated adequately, children with Down's syndrome show a favorable response to anti-leukemia therapy. A 24-year-old man with Down's syndrome was first seen for the evaluation of anemia and thrombocytopenia. The peripheral blood morphology and bone marrow study revealed acute myelogenous leukemia, cytogenetic study of bone marrow showed trisomy 21. Beacuse of his sicioeconomic condition and medical abnormalities including deafness, visual loss, he was treated with low dose subcutaneous cytosine arabinoside(Ara-C) for 11 days. Complete remission was obtained after 37 days. The complete remission lasted for 5 months. He subsequently relapsed, and died 6 months later.

        In a case of driving beginnners, it is very difficult to park a car perfectly because driver's knowledge makes more errors than intelligent mechanism when they are performed repeatedly. However skilled drivers be of experienced knowledge are able to park a car quickly. In this paper, we analyzed driving patterns of skilled drivers, designed the fuzzy controller to park based on it, and perform auto-parking simulation of a car using that controller.

        수산화칼슘 처리된 Porphyromonas endodontalis Lipopolysaccharide가 다형핵백혈구의 IL-1과 TNF-α 생성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) plays a major role in stimulating the synthesis and release of the principal osteoclast-activating cytokines , namely, interleukin 1 and tumor necrosis factor-α from immune cells, Although monocytes/macrophages are the main producers of these cytokines, recent evidence has indicated that polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN) have the ability to release IL-1 and TNF-α. Calcium hydroxide has been shown to be an effective medicament in root canal infectionsm, reducing the microbial titre within the canal. It has been proposed that the therapeutic effect of Ca(OH)_2 may also be the result of direct inactivation of LPS. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether treatment of Porphyromanas endodonatalis LPS with calcium hydroxide alters its biological action as neasured by human PMN secretion of IL-1 and TNF-α, and it was compared with Escherichia coli LPS. P.endodonatalis ATCC 35406 was cultured in anaerobic condition, and LPS was extracted using the hot-phenol water extraction method and purified. Purchased E. coli LPS was also purified . 100 ㎍/ml of each LPS in pyrogen free water were incubated with 25mg/ml Ca(OH)_2 at 37℃ for 7 days. The supernatants were subjected to ultrafiltration. And the isolates were lyophilized and weighed. PMNs were obtained from peripheral blood by centrifugation layered over Lymphoprep. The cells were resuspended (4 × 10^6 cells/ml) in RPMI 1640 followed by treatment with various concentrations of LPS (0, 0.1, 1, 10㎍/ml) for 24 hours at 37℃ in 5% CO_2 incubator. The supernatants of cells were collected and the levels of IL-1α, IL-1β and TNF-α were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The results were as follows; 1. The levels of IL-1α, IL-1β, TNF-α from PMN treated with each LPS were significantly higher than those released from unstimulated PMN of the control group (p<0.05). 2. The levels of all three cytokines released from PMN stimulated with each calcium hydroxide treated LPS were significantly lower than those released from PMN stimulated with each untreated LPS (p<0.05). while they were not significantly different from those released from unstimulated PMN of the control group (p>0.05). 3. The levels of secretion or all three cytokines were affected in a dose-dependent manner in PMN stimulated with each LPS (p<0.05), but not in PMN stimulated with each calcium hydroxide treated LPS (p>0.05). 4. The levels of all three cytokines released from PMN stimulated with P.endodontalis LPS were significantly lower than those released from PMN stimulated with E. coli LPS (p<0.05).

      • William Blake의 시에 나타난 Contrary 미학 연구 : The Marriage of Heaven Hell을 중심으로

        Willam Blake believed that the world is full of a number of things and that by opposing each other, they contribute to a larger harmony. The ideal of the contraries remained very real to him, and continuing publication of the Songs of Innocence and of Experience as "Shewing the Two Contrary States of the Human Soul" indicates its importance. Here contraries are creative oppositions. "Without Contraries is no Progression. Attration and Rupulsion, Reason and Energy, Love and Hate, are necessary to Human Existence". Progression means to become more Human, and final mark of such development is to marry all contraries together without reconciling them. Blake´s Prophetic Books, especially Milton, Jerusalem, are his attempt to explain hoe the contraries arose. The purpose of this paper is to study how the contraries arose in The Marriage of Heaven and Hell. The Marriage is a parody of sources to which Blake was deepley indebted for his: Genesis, the Proverbs, the Apocalypse, and Swedenborg. Blake was a men who had all the contraries, such as Prolific and Devouring, Reason and Energy in The Marriage, of human existence in his hands, and he never forget that it is the function of man to resolve them.

      • 해외 전력거래소들의 전략집단 분석을 통한 한국 전력거래소의 전략방향

        우리나라 전력산업구조 개편에 따라 전력산업에 경쟁개념을 도입하게 되었다. 전력산업에 경쟁을 도입한다는 것은 다수의 시장참여자가 존재하는 시장경제체제로의 전환을 의미하는 것이다. 이에 의거하여 새롭게 등장한 한국전력거래소는 경쟁적 전력시장에 참여하는 회원사, 이해관계자 집단 그리고 국민에게 엄청난 영향을 미칠 전망이다. 본 연구에서는 전략집단분석 (Strategic Group Analysis)을 통해 외국의 전력거래소들을 4개의 전략집단으로 그룹핑 하였다. 그리고 한국전력거래소가 지향해야 할 전략집단을 단기·중기차원에서 도출하여 한국전력 거래소의 단지·중기 전략방향을 제시하였다. 더 나아가 우리나라 전력거래소가 지향해야 할 선도 전력거래소들의 구체적 사례분석을 통해 한국전력 거래소가 추진해야 할 향후전략과 핵심역량강화 방안을 제시하였다. Korean government has introduced competition on power industry according to power industry restructuring. To introduce competition on power industry is to transform from monopolistic structure into market-driven system with multiple players. Conseguently, Newly created Korean Power Exchange will have heavy impact on members. interest groups and citizens which participate in the competitive power market. In this research, first, we made four groups of foreign power exchanges by using Strategic Group Analysis. Second, we found short and long term strategic directions of Korean Power Exchange(KPX) based on target strategic group. Third, we made case analysis of foreign leading power exchanges that Korean Power Exchange should follow. Lastly through case analysis. we presented future strategies of KPX and strategies of strengthening core competences.

        In this study, ten students of department of physical education in K unversity participated in 8-week-swimming training. With the figures of respiration and circulation shown before the training and after the trainging, the conclusion came out as follows after comparison and analysis of the changes in the stability and the maximum figures. 1)The respiration of one time ventilation(TVE, ㎖) Looking info the quantity of one lime ventilation In the rest, it came out 946.47㎖, meanwhile, after the training, it fell down to 878.17㎖, which is lower by 68.39㎖ and the the percentage of decrease is 7.78%. But as for the maximum figures, in came out 3117.70㎖, while after the training, it was 3219.10㎖ and that's higher by 101.4㎖ and the percentage of increase is 3.15%. 2)The oxygen uptake(VO2, ㎖/min) In the rest, the quantity of Q2 taken into the lung was 540.83m7/min before the training, but after the trainging, it showed 405.63㎖/min, which was lower by 135.20㎖/min, and the percentage of decrease is 33.33%. But as for the maximum figures, it was 3701.60㎖/min before the training, while after the training, it was 3885.30㎖/min, which Is higher by 183.7㎖/min and the percentage of· increase is 4.73%. 3)The rate of gas exchange(R)In the rest, the rate of gas exchange showed no big difference between before (1.03) and after (1.03) the training. But in the maximum figures, it was 1.42 before the training, while it was 1.45, which was higher by 0.03 and the rate of increase is 2.07%. 4)The oxygen uptake per weight(VO2/W, ㎖/kg/min)In the rest, the quantity of O2 per weight was 8.05㎖/kg/min before the training. But after the training, it was 5.99㎖/kg/min, which was lower by 2.06㎖/kg/min, and the rate of decrease is 34.39%. But in the maximum figures, it was 53.64㎖/kg/min before the trainging, while it was 58.80㎖/kg/min, which was higher by 5.16 and the rate of increase is 8.78%. 5)Heart rate(HR, beats/min)Looking Into the heart rate in the rest, it was 74.24beats/min before the training, but after the training, it was 70.84beats/min, which was lower by 3.4beats/min and the rate of decrease is 4.79%. But in the maximum figures, before the training, it was 187.25beats/min while it came out 194.69beats/min, which was higher by 7.44beats/min and the rate increase was 3.82%. 6)O2 pluse(VO2/HR, ㎖/beats)In the rest figures came out 6.10 before the training, while after the training, it was 5.72㎖/beats which was lower by 0.38 and the rate of decrease was 6.64%. But in the maximum figures, it was 19.78㎖/beats before the training, but after the training, while after the training, it was 22.54me/beats, which was higher by 2.76 and rate of increase is 12.24%.

        세가지 니켈 티타늄 파일의 휨과 비틀림 조건에서의 응력 분포에 관한 3차원 유한요소 연구

        이 연구의 목적은 세가지 니켈-티타늄 파일의 휨과 회전 조건 하에서의 응력 분포를 유한요소 모형을 이용하여 비교하는 것이다. ProFile .06/#30, ProTaper와 ProTaper Universal의 F3파일을 마이크로컴퓨터 단층촬영을 하고 reverse engineering을 통하여 세 니켈 티타늄 파일의 구조를 얻고 삼차원 유한요소모형을 제작하였다. 니켈 티타늄 합금의 비선형적인 물리적 성질을 반영하고 ABAQUS 프로그램을 이용하여 휨과 회전 조건 하에서의 기계적인 움직임을 수학적으로 예측 분석하였다. U-형태의 단면 구조를 가진 ProFile이 모형 가운데 가장 좋은 휨 성질을 나타냈다. 동일한 휨량 조건에서는 볼록한 삼각형 단면의 ProTaper가 다른모형보다 많은 힘을 필요로 하였으며, 반면에 가장 높은 von Mises 응력은 ProTaper Universal의 단면에서 움푹 파인 부위에 집중되었다. ProFile 모형은 동일한 크기의 회전력에 대해 가장 큰 응력 집중을 U-형 구 부위에 나타냈다. ProTaper 모형은 다른 모형에 비해 동일량을 비틀기 위해 더 많은 힘을 필요로 하였으며, 반면에 동량의 비틀림에서는 가장 높은 von Mises 응력이 ProTaper Universal의 단면에서 움푹 파인 부위에 집중되었다. Flexibility and fracture properties determine the performance of NiTi rotary instruments. The purpose of this study was to evaluate how geometrical differences between three NiTi instruments affect the deformation and stress distributions under bending and torsional conditions using finite element analysis. Three NiTi files (ProFile .06 / #30, F3 of ProTaper and ProTaper Universal) were scanned using a Micro-CT. The obtained structural geometries were meshed with linear, eight-noded hexahedral elements. The mechanical behavior (deformation and von Mises equivalent stress) of the three endodontic instruments were analyzed under four bending and rotational conditions using ABAQUS finite element analysis software. The nonlinear mechanical behavior of the NiTi was taken into account. The U-shaped cross sectional geometry of ProFile showed the highest flexibility of the three file models. The ProTaper, which has a convex triangular cross-section, was the most stiff file model. For the same deflection, the ProTaper required more force to reach the same deflection as the other models, and needed more torque than other models for the same amount of rotation. The highest von Mises stress value was found at the groove area in the cross-section of the ProTaper Universal. Under torsion, all files showed highest stresses at their groove area. The ProFile showed highest von Mises stress value under the same torsional moment while the ProTaper Universal showed the highest value under same rotational angle.

      • 청소년의 유도수련 참여가 사회관계성향에 미치는 영향

        This research was designed to describe the effect of teenager's participation in Judo training to the social relationship. We examined the effect of teenagers participating in Judo training and non-participated teenagers to the subordinate factor of the social relationship inclination ; sympathy, receptiveness, sociality and friendship. The subjects for this research were total 394 students participating in Judo class and non-participated students among middle school based on Daejeon city by the Stratified Cluster Random Sampling method. To investigate this research, we modified and supplemented the standardized questionnaire of human nature test and personal relations inclination test for teenagers. The reliance coefficient was shown as the value of a'=.5726∼.6816 We applied for SPSS v10.0 for Windows to progress the data of study. The result of executing Analysis of Covariance, ANCOVA to investigate the effect of teenager's participation in Judo training to the social relationship inclination is as follows; a. The participation in Judo training for the class affects the sympathy as the subordinate factor of the social relationship inclination. b. The participation in Judo training for the class affects the receptiveness as the subordinate factor of the social relationship inclination. c. The participation in Judo training for the class affects the sociality as the subordinate factor of the social relationship inclination. d. The participation in Judo training for the class affects the friendship as the subordinate factor of the social relationship inclination.
