수산화칼슘 처리된 Porphyromonas endodontalis Lipopolysaccharide가 다형핵백혈구의 IL-1과 TNF-α 생성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) plays a major role in stimulating the synthesis and release of the principal osteoclast-activating cytokines , namely, interleukin 1 and tumor necrosis factor-α from immune cells, Although monocytes/macrophages are the main producers of these cytokines, recent evidence has indicated that polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN) have the ability to release IL-1 and TNF-α. Calcium hydroxide has been shown to be an effective medicament in root canal infectionsm, reducing the microbial titre within the canal. It has been proposed that the therapeutic effect of Ca(OH)_2 may also be the result of direct inactivation of LPS. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether treatment of Porphyromanas endodonatalis LPS with calcium hydroxide alters its biological action as neasured by human PMN secretion of IL-1 and TNF-α, and it was compared with Escherichia coli LPS. P.endodonatalis ATCC 35406 was cultured in anaerobic condition, and LPS was extracted using the hot-phenol water extraction method and purified. Purchased E. coli LPS was also purified . 100 ㎍/ml of each LPS in pyrogen free water were incubated with 25mg/ml Ca(OH)_2 at 37℃ for 7 days. The supernatants were subjected to ultrafiltration. And the isolates were lyophilized and weighed. PMNs were obtained from peripheral blood by centrifugation layered over Lymphoprep. The cells were resuspended (4 × 10^6 cells/ml) in RPMI 1640 followed by treatment with various concentrations of LPS (0, 0.1, 1, 10㎍/ml) for 24 hours at 37℃ in 5% CO_2 incubator. The supernatants of cells were collected and the levels of IL-1α, IL-1β and TNF-α were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The results were as follows; 1. The levels of IL-1α, IL-1β, TNF-α from PMN treated with each LPS were significantly higher than those released from unstimulated PMN of the control group (p<0.05). 2. The levels of all three cytokines released from PMN stimulated with each calcium hydroxide treated LPS were significantly lower than those released from PMN stimulated with each untreated LPS (p<0.05). while they were not significantly different from those released from unstimulated PMN of the control group (p>0.05). 3. The levels of secretion or all three cytokines were affected in a dose-dependent manner in PMN stimulated with each LPS (p<0.05), but not in PMN stimulated with each calcium hydroxide treated LPS (p>0.05). 4. The levels of all three cytokines released from PMN stimulated with P.endodontalis LPS were significantly lower than those released from PMN stimulated with E. coli LPS (p<0.05).

Device-to-device (D2D) 통신 기술은 기지국 및 Access Point (AP)와 같은 인프라의 경유 없이 트래픽 교환이 단말기간에 직접적으로 이루어지도록 하는 기술이다. 오늘날 D2D 통신 기술은 셀룰러 망과부하 문제의 해결책으로써 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 D2D 통신 기술인 Wi-Fi Direct 에 기반하여 형성된 네트워크에 존재하는 다수의 단말에게 동영상을 스트리밍하기 위한 안드로이드 라이브러리 개발 사례를 소개한다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 라이브러리는 의사 브로드캐스트(Pseudo-broadcast) 방식을 사용하여 다수의 단말에게 동영상을 스트리밍한다. 의사 브로드캐스트 방식은 빠른 전송 속도로 동영상을 스트리밍할 뿐만 아니라 한 번의 전송을 다수의 단말에게 동일한 데이터를 전송할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

The ground water regime analysis method, numerical analysis method, water budget method, and baseflow analysis method have been used for estimating ground water recharged quantity. This study, adapting water budget concept of unsaturated zone, and saturated zone of the DAWAST model, proposed a new method to estimate ground water recharged quantity.

본 연구의 목적은 근관내 약제로 사용되는 수산화칼슘의 제거방법이 근관충전 후 치근단 미세누출에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위함이다. 70개의 발거된 단근치를 엔진구동형 ProFile로 근관형성한 후 수용성 수산화칼슘 제제를 1주일간 적용하고 두 군으로 나누어 각기 다른 방법으로 제거하였다. A군은 NaOCI로 근관세정만을 시행하였으며, B군은 근관형성 시 사용된 file보다 한 단계 큰 크기의 ProFile을 사용하여 근관을 재형성한 후 NaOCI로 세척하였다. 근관충전 후 전기화학적 방법으로 24일 동안 치근단 누출을 측정, 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과 수산화 칼슘 제거를 위한 두가지 방법은 근관충전후 치근단 미세누출에 있어서 차이가 없음을 알 수 있었다. This study evaluated the effect of two different calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)_(2)) paste removal techniques on the apical leakage of canals obturated with gutta percha cones and sealer after removing a Ca(OH)_(2) dressing using an electrochemical method. Seventy extracted single-rooted teeth were instrumented on with Profile rotary files under NaOCI irrigation. Fifty-eight canals were filled with calcium hydroxide paste, which was then removed using one of the following two techniques. In group A, calcium hydroxide was removed using only NaOCI irrigation, and in group B, the canals were re-prepared with a Profile rotary files-one size larger than the previous instrument and were irrigated with NaOCI. In both groups, the root surfaces were coated twice with nail varnish from CEJ to an area 4㎜ away from the apex after canal obturation. Apical leakage was measured using an electrochemical method for 24 days. All the specimens showed leakddffqage that increased markedly in the first three days. There was no significant difference between the two groups (p > 0.05). The effect of two calcium hydroxide paste removal techniques on the apical leakage was not different during a short period.
An electrochemical study of the sealing ability of three retrofilling materials

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the apical sealing ability of Super-EBA, MTA and Dyract-flow as retrofilling materials. Forty-eight extracted human teeth with straight and single root canal were used in this study. The root canals were prepared to a #40 apical canal size and obturated with gutter-percha. Apicoectomies were performed and root end cavities were prepared to a depth of 3㎜ using an ultrasonic device. The root end cavities were filled with Super-EBA, MTA or Dyract-flow. Leakage was measured using an elestrochemical technique for 4 weeks According to this study, the reasults were as follows 1 Increasing leakage with time was observed in all groups 2. No significant difference was noted among the 3 groups with time (p = 0.216). 3. No significant difference was noted among the 3 groups when measured within the same time interval(p = 0.814). The results of this study suggest that the sealing ability of Dyract-flow is equal to that of Super-EBA and MTA, and Dyract-flow may be an alternative to other materials for root-end filling.
