토마스 미들톤의『여성이여 여성을 경계하라』에 나타난 비극성-이성관계를 중심으로-

In Women Beware Women, Middleton presents an amoral society composed of men who have a perverted male-authority and women who as daughters, sisters, and wives are bound by obedience to them. The lot of the women is to be bartered and sold as goods and make shift the best they can with the only tools at their command such as deception and beauty to carve out a comfortable existence for themselves. Under these condition their sexual relations are all alike ; each relationship between Bianca and the Duke, Isabella and Hippolito, and Livia and Leantio is generally immoral. In addition to the sexual relations, the play is unified by several other structures as well. It is divisible into a main plot and a subplot which compare the careers of Bianca and Isabella from innocence through sin to death, but its chief themes are delineated more obviously by parallels between individual characters. Thus, Leantio, Hippolito, Livia, and the Duke, as well as Bianca and Isabella, are compared to one another in terms of their moral perception and their willful self-assertion. Middleton places moral responsilbility for the condition of society and for the conduct and fate of the persons comprising it squarely upon the individual. Throughout the play, each character ignores reason, blindly follows his own will. Thus it is basic to the concept of will and individual responsibility that each character is conscious of the difference between right conduct and wrong. Therefore the thesis Middleton presents is not an optimistic one. Men is doomed by his will, his inability to recognize his willfulness, and his tendency to forget Heaven's mandate. If man is solely responsible for his doom, then he can influence its outcome for the better. Had Middleton included yet one more character, a figure demonstrating man's ability to exercise a moral responsilbility which reverses his downward course, he might have tempered his thesis and alleviated the atmosphere of bleak immorality which pervades the play.

이 논문은 조직학습에 관하여 지금까지 발표된 문헌을 조사하여 학습 행위의 표현, 학습모형의 구성요소, 학습의 원동력, 학습목표, 학습수준의 구분 등의 기준에 의해 조직학습 이론을 세 가지 그룹으로 구분하여 제시한다.이들은 각각 행동주의, 인지주의, 그리고 행위이론을 토대로 하고 있다.기업의 입장에서 볼 때 조직학습 개념은 각 그룹의 이론적 관점에 따라 환경변화에 대한 해석 과 적응, 문제해결, 의사결정, 전략적 혁신 등 다양한 측면에서 해석되어 왔다.이 논문은 Argyris와 Sch?n의 학습모형 및 주요 개념을 간략히 소개한다.후반부에서는 어떻게 이들의 개념이 기업 조사분석에 적용되었는지 실제 사례를 들어 설명한다. This paper classifies three categories of theories of organizational learning, based on five criteria : representation of teaming action, organizational teaming scheme, motives of teaming, goal of teaming, and differentiation of teaming level. The three categories are respectively based on behavioralism, cognitivism, and theory of action. From the firm's point of view, the concept of organizational teaming has been interpretated, in general, through changing environment and adaptation to it problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic change. This paper briefly shows the organizational teaming scheme of Argyris and Scho‥n and their principal concepts. We traced the flow direction of Ipbong Andesite and dacite in Dalsan area, Yeongdeok. Elongate vesicles and lathlike plagioclase phenocysts are aligned in the outcrops or under microscope. The lineations from their alignment are excellently indicating the flow direction of lavas. The flow directions, which were measured from the lineations in the Ipbong Andesite, are NNW-SSE in the eastern part and NNE-SSW in the southwestern part. The flow lineations show a fanlike movement pattern from the mid-northern part that the diorite is distributed. The diorite area is prabably a potential source area of the andesite

평양 남정리 53호분 출토 토제칠기의 보존 및 제작기법 연구 : 토제칠이배, 토제칠반, 토제칠안

본고는 일제 강점기 조사 미등록 유물 정리사업의 일환으로 수행한 평양 남정리 53호분 출토 토제칠이배, 토제칠반, 토제칠안에 관한 연구이다. 남정리 출토 유물은 소지가 목심이 아닌 토제라는 것과 칠이배와 칠반을 얹은 칠안이 함께 출토되었다는 점에서 주목할 만하다. 토제칠이배 및 칠반 그리고 칠안의 보존처리를 통해 이들의 형태와 문양 등에 대해 알 수 있었다. 또한 칠기에 사용된 붉은색 안료의 성분을 분석하여 안료의 주성분이 진사(HgS)였음을 확인하였다. 이번 연구에서 기존에 잘 알려지지 않았던 한반도 내 위치한 낙랑의 토제칠기에 관해 살펴볼 수 있었으며 이러한 제작방법이 한나라 고유의 문화인지 아니면 재지세력이 한나라의 영향을 받아 현지화한 문화의 산물인지에 대해 생각해 볼 수 있는 기회라 생각된다. This research paper examines the lacquered pottery cup, plate and table unearthed from Tomb No. 53 at Namjeong-ri in Pyongyang, which were under conservation treatment as a part of the Project of Unregistered Artefacts Uncovered in the Japanese Colonial Era. It is very rare to have a lacquered pottery cup and plate, lying on a lacquered pottery table, as a set of grave goods. In particular, they are not wooden but pottery items. Through conservation treatment for lacquered pottery cup, plate and table, it was possible to find out their shapes and decoration patterns. The resulting analysis of the red pigment used indicates that cinnabar (HgS) is the main element. This research is significant because it examines lacquered pottery wares produced in Lelang, which has rarely been conducted. Further research will need to prove whether their production techniques were in the unique Chinese Han style or were produced by indigenous craftsmen who adopted the Chinese Han technique.

김치 추출물에 의한 Aflatoxin B_1의 돌연변이 억제 효과

The inhibitory effects of Kimchi extracts on the mutagenicity induced by aflatoxin B₁(AFB₁) in Salmonella and Drosophila assay systems were studied. The kimchi extracts had inhibitory activity for His^+ to His^+ reverse-mutations induced by AFB₁acting on S. typhimurium TA98. A similar inhibitory effect was detected in somatic cell mutation assaying system of D. melanogaster. In Drosophila wing hair spot test, mutant clone frequency induced by AFB₁was consideranly inhibited by the kimchi extracts. These facts suggest that kimchi rxtracts can inhibit gene mutation, deletion, mititic chromosomal recombination and suppress the formation of cancer and mutation by DNA damage.

Airspeed and altimeter calibration of "win Mee was conducted by the flight test. We have adopted system to system method. Flight test data is corrected for instrumented error and position error, and the resultin data was satisfied. Climb Performance flight test also was conducted. But we could not have all data because of limited flight time. The resulted data was satisfied compare with calculated dab.

The steelmaking dust treatment process has been established through reducing volatilization method in rotary kiln. The more content of zinc in reduced pellets and basicity of pellet is in the range of 1.5~3.0, the more working time needed in rotary kiln, because of decreasing wall accretion. A portion of well forming kiln coating in the furnace is a fourth of the total length from the outlet. Constitutes on the furnace wall accretion composed of the mixtures such as Fe, FeO, Fe₂O₃, Fe₃O₄, ZnO and CaO-SiO₂system, and formation of kiln coating is decreased by adding coke ratio.

In "The White Devil," both authority and the individual who defies it are essentially corrupt. Much has been written of the prevasive evil of the world of the play, and it is difficult to find a moral center. The society dominant in this play is strictly stratified. On top are the "great men,' such as Brachiano and Francisco, who use their power of place to do as they please, regardless of morality. Below them are those who, like flamineo, are willing to toady to greatness in hopes of what advancement those in power might grant. Vittoria, the female protagonist, is well aware that she is trapped by her inferior place, and shr wishes to manipulate the hierarchy she understands all too well in order to advance herself. Since she is a woman, her status is governed by the man she serves -- her husband. As a result, her only path to success is to exchange one servitude for another, one man (Camillo) to another (Brachiano). She is intelligent enough to learn that once she has sold herself to those who have power, she can manipulate them into doing those things she is herself powerless to do. During the trial for Camillo's murder when a guilty Brachiano abandons Vittoria to face the charges, she rejects the doctrines of the proper submission of woman as inappropriate to the necessity forced upon her by the abuse of authority. Although she is sent to a house of penitent whores, she has succeeded in exposing the abuse of power of place that is at the heart of the corruption in her society. When we see through her actions that defiance of authority, even by a guilty woman, can be admirable in the face of the corruption of power, we have to reevaluate our estimation of the value of submission to authority.
