Acute arterial occlusion, produced by thrombus or embolism, is a common problem as a complication of arterial surgery. Conventional therapy has included surgery, systemic anticoagulation, transcatheter embolectomy, and systemic thrombolytic agents, but with a considerable complication rate. Recently, authors experienced a case of low dose intraarterial continuous Urokinase infusion therapy for acute popliteal artery occlusion complicated after ruptured AAA operation at the 71 years old male, so we reported it with a review of literatures.
The trend of today's special education is toward the theory of inclusive education. Based on the principal of normalization and the securing of equal education opportunity for all, the theory of inclusive education deals with restoration of sociality for the handicapped. This study analyzes the necessary spatial components of special primary schools of inclusive education and proposes a new direction in planning for such facilities.
The large amount of hospital data makes management complicated and nowadays the data can barely be managed without computerization. The authors classified and encoded the neurosurgical diseases to develop the "Autocode System", the automatic code transformation system using Fox-Pro^(R), which is a database management program. Any diagnostic entity which is input by the user is transformed into a specific code automatically. Such a procedure excludes the input error originating from mistyping or naming an unclassified entity. This program is not perfect yet, but it is thought to be effective in the neurosurgical department for data storage and searching. Further modification, functional improvement and ultimately, unifying the system among the hospitals can make cooperative study and systematic data analysis possible.
The purpose of this study is to compare effects of denture cleansers and disinfectants on the color. surface hardness, and surface roughness of reinforced acrylic resin using polyhedral oligosilsesquioxane molecules(POSS resin) to those of common resins. According to manufacturer's instructions, 45 specimens were made from three denture resins(Luciton 199, Paladent 20, POSS resin), and polished. Five denture cleansers(distilled water, glutaraldehyde, alkaline hypochlorites, chlorhexidine, alkaline peroxides) in combination with three denture resins were evaluated before and after immersion for 7 days. Color data in $L^*a^*b^*$ system were measured with a colorimeter. Surface hardness data were measured with a microhardness tester. Surface roughness data were measured with a 3-dimensional surface analyzer. Data were analyzed with two-way ANOVA, one-way ANOVA, and t-test. The results were as follows : 1. All resins(Luciton 199, Paladent 20, POSS resin) showed significant differences in color after immersion in hypochlorites(p<0.05). 2. POSS resin showed significant differences in color compared with Paladent 20 in all denture cleansers, but no statistically significant differences with Luciton 199(p<0.05). 3. Luciton 199 showed significant differences of surface hardness in chlorhexidine, Paladent 20 showed significant differences in glutaraldehyde and chlorhexidine. POSS resin showed a little change of surface in all denture cleanser, but no statistically significant differences(p<0.05). 4. Luciton 199 and Paladent 20 showed significant differences of surface roughness in hypochlorites and glutaraldehyde, and POSS resin showed no statistically significant differences in all denture cleansers(p<0.05).
The strength of the slender steel beam is determined by its lateral buckling. In practical structural design, this steel beam used to be reinforced by lateral bracing to increase their buckling strength by restraining it’s weak directional displacement. The most effective installing location for lateral bracing is the compression flange of H-beam, but the compression flange is variable to the loading direction and the beam’s boundary condition. In practice, the lateral bracing is connected to the web stiffener of the beam. In this study, analytical and experimental investigation are carried out on H-shaped steel beams with web stiffener and lateral bracing in consideration of the bracing connection details. The numerical analysis results are compared with the results acquired from the test, and the applicability of suggested numerical method is verified. 철골구조에서 세장한 보의 휨내력은 주로 보의 횡좌굴 내력에 의하여 결정되며, 실제 구조설계에서는 보의 약축방향 변위를 제어하는 가새를 보에 설치하여 보의 횡좌굴내력을 증가 시킨다. 횡가새 설치 위치는 보의 압축플랜지에 설치하는 것이 가장 효율적이나, 하중의 작용방향, 보의 단부지지 조건에 의하여, 압축플랜지 위치는 변화하게 되며, 일반적으로 황좌굴 보강용 가새는 H-형강보에 용접된 가세트플레이트에 접합하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 실제 가새의 접합상세를 고려할 수 있는 수치해석법을 사용하여 얻은 횡좌굴내력과 구조시험을 실시하여 얻은 결과치와 비교 분석하여, 사용한 수치해석법의 적용성을 검증하였다.

본 연구는 우리나라 재래종인 한우로부터 초유를 얻어 Lf을 분리·정제한 후 한우 Lf의 생화학적 특성을 확인하였다. 정제된 한우 Lf은 분자량이 81,000Da이고 등전점은 pI 9였으며, 철함량이 0.56 mg/g으로 철 포화도는 약 40.6%로 측정되었다. 한우 Lf과 젖소 Lf은 아미노산 조성과 a-helix 함량에서 서로 다르게 나타났다. 또한, 항원 항체 반응으로 확인한 결과, K-Lf과 B-Lf 간에는 교차반응을 보였으나 H-Lf과는 교차반응을 보이지 않았다. The purpose of this study was to demonstrate biochemical properties of lactoferrin (Lf) obtained from the colostrum of Korea native cow. The molecular weight of the purified Korean native cow's Lf (K-Lf) was 81kDa, the isoelectric point was 9, and the content of iron was 0.56 mg/g, which is indicated that iron saturation of the lactoferrin was 40.6%. Amino acid composition and a-helix content were different K-Lf from bovine Lf (B-Lf). Immunological cross reactivity was observed between K-Lf and B-Lf but not between K-Lf and human Lf (H-Lf) by immunodiffusion test and Western blot analysis. Out results indicate that structure of K-Lf is different from that of B-Lf although K-Lf and B-Lf were immunologically cross-reactive.
