중수형 발전소에서 삼중수소 제거 공정에 이용되는 소수성 고분자촉매의 담체인 스티렌-디비닐벤젠 공중합체의 제조 특성을 실험하였다. 스티렌-디비닐벤젠 고분자담체의 제조시 담체의 표면 특성에 대한 용매의 영향을 고찰하기 위하여 일정한 용매계에서 용매비를 변화시켜 solvating power 값을 구하였다. 거시기공 형태의 담체가 제조되기 위한 solvating power는 가교도가 20%일 때 3 이상, 가교도가 40%일 때는 1 이상의 값이 필요하였으며 약 40℃에서 2시간 이상 용액의 안정이 필요하였다. 또한 후처리 방법은 담체를 건조시키기 전에 용매를 제거하는 방법이 가장 우수한 기공 특성을 나타내었다. 담체의 입자 크기는 교반속도 및 계면활성제의 농도가 낮을수록 더 크게 생성됨을 알 수 있었다. This study represents the synthetic characteristics of styrene-DVB copolymer which is used as a catalyst support for the removal of tritium in CANDU. To evaluate the effect of solvent on the styrene-DVB polymeric support, the solvating power dependent on various kinds and composition of solvents was calculated. In order to synthesize the macroreticular type polymer bead, the following conditions are needed; solvating power should be higher than 1 for 20% of crosslinkage and higher than 3 for 40% of crosslinkage. Stabilization of organic monomers at about 40℃ for more than 2 hours is prerequisite. Removal of solvent prior to drying is preferred for the post-treatment of the bead. The polymer particle size was increased by lowering concentration of surfactant and stirring speed.

This paper describes a compartment dynamic model for evaluating the contamination level of kritium in agricultural plants exposed by accidentally released tritium. The present model uses a time-dependent growth equation of plant so that it can predict the effect of growth stage of plant during the exposure time. The model including atmosphere, soil and plant compartments is described by a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations, and is able to predict time-dependent concentrations of tritium in the compartments. To validate the model, a series of exposure experiments of HTO vapor on Chinese cabbage and radish was carried out at the different growth stage of each plant. At the end of exposure, the tissue free water(TFWT) and the organically bound tritium(OBT) were measured. The measured concentrations were agreed well with model predictions.
균형성과표(BSC)를 이용한 물류정보시스템 성과평가지표 개발

The objective of this study is to empirically develop performance evaluation measures for LIS (logistics information systems) based upon BSC (balanced scorecard) model and determine the relative importance among four perspectives of BSC using AHP (analytic hierarchy process) methodology. Above all, forty nine probable measures for evaluating LIS performance were identified through reviewing the previous research related with SCM (supply chain management), logistics management, and information systems evaluation. And then, these probable measures were examined by means of coincidence analyses using three mutually exclusive criteria(validity of content, ease of measurement and reliability of measurement). Data for conducting the coincidence analyses were collected from LIS users and LIS development personnel. As the results of the coincidence analyses, it was found that 31 ones among 49 probable performance evaluation measures theoretically derived could be qualified for LIS performance evaluation. And AHP analysis showed that the weight of each perspective was respectively as follows : 46.8% for financial perspective, 31.3% for customer perspective, 14.8% for internal business process perspective, and 7.1 % for learning and growth perspective. The academic contribution of this study is that performance evaluation measures for LIS could be systematically and empirically developed on the basis of BSC. Also, the results of this study are expected to be used as a practice guideline of evaluating and improving LIS.

In order to seek the development of a sustainable accommodation industry by revitalizing the economy of the Gyeongju region and revitalizing accommodation. To revitalize the accommodation industry, Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongju City will support the reconstruction of tourism infrastructure and human resource development to strengthen accessibility, improve the system, joint public relations / marketing, and financial support for facility renovation, Presented that a realistic response is necessary.

N/A In the fields of operation and handling of the hydrogen isotope facility, and of management technology for the nuclear fusion source, gas chromatography has been used as one of the practical techniques for the separation and the enrichment of hydrogen isotopic gases including tritium. Chromatographic separation experiments of the hydrogen isotope mixture (hydrogen, deuterium and tritium) were carried out by use of a commercially available gas chromatograph. An aliquot of the gas sample was injected with a specially designed vacuum sampler into the stream of inert carrier gas which goes through the separation column at liquid nitrogen temperature. The complete separation of hydrogen isotopic molecules was observed with an alumina adsorbent partially deactivated by coating with 10% manganese chloride. In addition, fairly good separation conditions without appearance of the nuclear spin isomers in a shorter retention time, which would be useful for the practical applications of the hydrogen isotope separation and enrichment, were obtained.

Objective : p16/INK4a, a kind of tumor suppressor genes, encodes a specific inhibitor of the cyclin D-dependent kinases CDK4 and CDK6. This prevents the association of CDK4 with cyclin D1, and subsequently inhibits phosphorylation of retinoblastoma tumor suppressor protein(pRb), thus preventing exit from the G1 phase. According to previous reports, over 50% of glioma tissue and 80% of glioma cell lines have been demonstrated inactivation of p16/INK4a gene. The purpose of this study was to determine whether recombinant adenovirus-p16 virus is a suitable candidate for gene replacement therapy in cases of glioma. Methods : Three human glioma cell lines(U251MG, U87MG and U373MG) that express mutant p16 protein were used. Replication-deficient adenovirus was utilized as an expression vector to transfer exogenous p16 cDNA into the cells ; control cells were infected with the Ad-${\beta}$-gal expressing ${\beta}$-galactosidase. To monitor gene transfer and the expression of exogenous genes, we used Western Blotting analysis. Flow cytometry studies of cellular DNA content were performed to determine the cell cycle phenotype of the glioma cells before and after treatment. Results : We showed here that restoration of p16/INK4a expression in p16 negative U87MG, U251MG and partially deleted U373MG by Ad-CMV-p16 induced growth suppression in vitro. Flow cytometric study revealed that Ad-CMV-p16 infected U87MG cells were arrested during the G0-G1 phase of the cell cycle. Expression of p16 transferred by Ad-CMV-p16 in glioma cells was highly efficient and maintained for more than seven days. Conclusions : Our results suggest that Ad-CMV-p16 gene therapy strategy is potentially useful and warrants further clinical investigation for the treatment of gliomas.
제주지역 주요 활엽수의 대기 중 CO<sub>2</sub> 흡수율과 수분이용효율의 계절적 변화

Seasonal changes in the CO<sub>2</sub> fixation rate and water-use efficiency in the leaves of six evergreen and two deciduous broad-leaved tree species on Jeju Island, Korea, were measured using a portable photosynthesis analyzer, to identify which species are most efficient in taking up CO<sub>2</sub> from the air. The CO<sub>2</sub> fixation rate was high in the deciduous species in spring and summer and decreased in fall, whereas it was high in the evergreen species in summer and fall and decreased in winter. The rate remained high in the deciduous tree Prunus yedoensis from spring to fall (> 7.1 μmol CO<sub>2</sub>/m<sub>2</sub>/s) and in two evergreen trees, Castanopsis cuspidata var. sieboldii and Cinnamomum camphora, in summer and fall (7.0 9.9 μmol CO<sub>2</sub>/㎡/s). Therefore, these tree species fix atmospheric CO<sub>2</sub> effectively. The water-use efficiency was higher in evergreen species than in deciduous species regardless of the season. Exceptionally, it was high in the deciduous species Zelkova serrata in spring and summer (> 100 μmol CO<sub>2</sub>/mol H<sub>2</sub>O), suggesting that Z. serrata is a useful tree for dry conditions due to its tolerance of water stress. The regressions of the CO<sub>2</sub> fixation rate versus the evaporation rate and stomatal conductance were linear and non-linear, respectively. This suggests that the stomatal activity of leaves plays an important part in CO<sub>2</sub> fixation of plants. In conclusion, C. cuspidata var. sieboldii, C. camphora, and P. yedoensis should be planted along roads or in urban spaces for the greening of cities and mitigation of CO<sub>2</sub> concentrations in the air.
