      • Silent Discharge와 TiO₂광촉매 산화반응을 이용한 VOCs 처리

        This study has been carried out for evaluation of VOCs treatment let out at the industrial field using a silent discharge process through process approvement and TiO₂ photocatalytic oxidation. And it was presented experimental results on the silent discharge plasma and TiO₂ photocatalytic oxidation processes at atmospheric pressure gas streams containing diluted concentrations of benzene, toluene, and xylene out of VOCs. It has shown that each concentration, background gas, flowrate, and applied power have effected on three materials decomposition and byproduct distribution. Analyses of benzene, toluene, xylene and byproduct concentration was carried out by GC-FID.

      • 대기에어로졸에 대한 입경분포의 특성

        Aerosol size distribution were determined by Andersen sampler for the anionic species (sulfate, nitrate and chloride) and TSP. Size classified samples were extracted with distilled water and analyzed for C1^(-)NO₃^(-)and SO₄^(2-) by ion chromatography. The size distribution of TSP was indicated bi-modal mode, and its large fraction of TSP weighted on fine mode in winter. The size distributions of these ions were observed the seasonal variation of concentration as follows : (1) TSP size distribution indicate two-mode(Coarse fraction, Fine fraction). (2) SO₄^(2-) was largely increased its concentration at fine-mode in summer (3) NO₃^(-) was almost appeared in coarse mode in summer, constrastively in fine mode in winter (4) C1^(-) was dominent in mostly in coarse mode because of its source to marine.

      • UV/TiO₂ 광촉매산화 복합공정을 이용한 악취 및 VOCs 제거를 위한 장치 개발 연구

        We have developed UV/TiO₂ photocatalytic oxidation combined process to control odor and VOCs in industrial applications. Three types of individual processes are introduced to test of their ability to increase treatment efficiency. Odor and VOC gases such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, formaldehyde and toluene are used for target gas. UV/TiO₂ photocatalytic oxidation combined process with activated carbon was excellent among the three types processes without relation to gas species. It will promise that this new type UV/TiO₂ photocatalytic oxidation combined process can apply industrial applications to remove odorous gases from the emission source. 본 연구에서는 대표적인 악취물질과 VOCs 의 처리 를 목적으로 UV 광촉매산화 복합공정을 이용하여 암모니아와 황화수소 그리고 포름알데히드와 툴루엔의 제거율을 높임으로써 산업공정 등에서 UV 광촉매산화 복합공정의 적용가능성을 검토하였다. 현단계까지는 악취물질의 각 물질별로 전환효율은 낮으나, 본 연구에서 제작된 UV 광촉매산화 복합공정은 악취 물질과 VOCs가 많이 발생되는 산업현장내 근무자로부터 악취물질과 VOCs등 각종 대기오염물질 저감을 위한 장치로서 실용화 가능성을 기대할 수 있다.

        Acid Rain has been investigated in Pusan Area. The range of pH indicated at 1st point to 4.05-7.2, 2nd point to 4.87-7.1, 3rd point 5.0-7.0 individually. Average pH value was decreased during small rainfall, the rainfall amount was directly related to pH in every points. Frequency ratio of pH below 5.6 in each point were resulted to 75% at 1st point, 73% at 2nd point, 42% 3rd point.

        레크레이션활동이 발달지체아의 대인관계 및 정서적 행동에 미치는 효과

        이 연구는 레크리에이션 활동이 발달지체아의 대인관계 및 정서적 행동에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 실험연구이다. 레크리에이션 프로그램은 놀이중심의 20개 주제로 40개 과제를 주 2회 20회 실시하였다. 연구 대상은 지적수준이 IQ 45정도인 발달지체아 20명(비교, 실험집단 각 10명씩)이고, 종속변인은 대인관계 수준과 정서적 행동(7개영역)이다. 연구결과 첫째, 레크리에이션 활동이 발달지체아의 대인관계 행동에 긍정적인 효과를 미친다. 특히, 자기중심적 요구단계인 1수준과 자기중심 우위의 동료입장 고려 2수준에 더 많은 대인관계를 향상시켜주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 레크리에이션 활동이 정서적 행동변화에 긍정적인 효과를 미쳐 특히, 충동성과 불안, 공격성이 감소하고, 사회화와 자아개념에 영향을 미친다. 결국, 다양한 놀이활동이 발달지체아들의 대인관계 및 정서적 행동수정에 효과적임을 미루어 보아, 특별한 교육적 요구를 지닌 발달지체 아들에게 적용할 전문적인 레크리에이션 프로그램이 적극 개발되고 이들에게 적용하여 교수적 함의의 탐색이 계속 이루어져야할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of applied recreation program on the interpersonal relations and emotional behavior of children with developmental disabilities so that the result of this study could be utilize as an effective information for rehabilitation and education of children with developmental disabilities. The findings of this study were as follows; First, the recreational activities had an effect on enhancing the interpersonal relations of students with mental retardation. By subareas, the experimental group made a greater progress in the levels 1 and 2, which were respectively defined as egoistic demand and putting oneself in another's place, than in the levels 0 and 3, which were respectively characterized by just rudimentary human relations and giving consideration to others. Over, the recreational activities turned out to improve their interpersonal relations. Second, the recreational activities served to develop the emotional behaviors of students with mental retardation. The experimental group became less impulsive, discouraged, anxious and aggressive than before, and their sociability and self-concept improved as well. Accordingly, the recreational activities turned out to bring a positive change to their emotional behaviors.

      • 호산구성 봉와직염의 임상 및 병리 조직학적 분석

        Eosinophilic cellulitis is a rare dermatosis originally described by wells as "reccurent granulomatous dermatitis with eosinophilia", then called Wells' syndrome. Flame figures are considered as a characteristic histologic feature of Wells' syndrome. To clarify the nature of eosinophilic cellulitis and its flame figures, the author has reviesed five cases of eosinophilic cellulitis with its clinical and histopathologic findings. Cutaneous lisions were variable in appearance and was commonly confused with angioedema, urticarial vasculitis, erythema multiforme, morphea or granuloma annulare. Microscopically, early lesions (2-7days) showed diffuse dermal eosinophilic infiltration with widespread degranulation, sometimes extended into the underlying muscle. Subepidermal bulla was present in one case. Subsequently, granulomatous features with charcteristic "flame figures" became apparent (several months). Collagen alteration by eosinophilic granules resulted in flame figure formation and a granulomatous response. In two patients, there were possible relationships between drug and flare-ups of eosinophilic cellulitis, but the others, no contributary precipitating factors were found. We think that eosinophilic cellulitis represents a severe anaphylactic hypersensitivity reaction to various stimuli showing characteristic histopathology with recurrent episodes and frequent hypereosinophilia in the peripheral blood.

      • 플라즈마를 이용한 VOCs 중 트리클로로에틸렌의 처리에 관한 연구

        This study has carried out for evaluation of Trichloroethylene treatment let out at the working place using a silent discharge, one out of methods to control Volatile Organic Compounds. 1. Comparative test for Ozone creation as a function of whether Trichloroethylene included or not, both of them were increased by 270ppm when the electric field intensity goes up(~30kV/cm) and dry air condition included Trichloroethylene were high more or less. It is expected that Trichloroethylene has an influence on Ozone creation as Ozone presecution substance. 2. Input Trichloroethylene concentration and flow rate related to electric field intensity had effect on decomposition efficiency. Trichloroethylene decomposition efficiency increased with rising of applied voltage. But, Treatment efficiency were lower than N₂ condition, in case of using dry air as diluted gas, due to dissipation of electron energy by triplet oxygen molecules. 3. The more increased concentration(100, 200 and 300ppm1, the lower decreased removal efficiency(96, 93.6, 90.3% at N₂ and 86, 84, 90% at dry air) and these tendencies were released at the flow rate(1, 2 and 3 ℓ / min) similarly. 4. Byproducts generated by oxidation of Trichloroethylene-Carbon monooxide, Ozone, Methyl Chloride, Chlorofom, l,l,l-Trichloroethane and Tetrachloroethylene were found out.

      • 위에 원발한 악성 림프종의 임상 및 병리조직학적 검색

        The author studied primary gastric malignant lymphomas, which were reclassified by REAL classification and on which clinico-pathologic correlation was made. Twenty-nine cases of primary gastric lymphomas were retrieved from files of the Department of Pathology, Hanyang University Hospital between 1985 and 1998. Eight lymphomas were classified as low grade MALT lymphomas, 2 as low/high grade MALT lymphomas, 4 as high grade MALT lymphomas, 12 as diffuse large B-cell lymphomas, and 3 as peripheral T-cell lymphomas. Clinical follow-up was available for 16 patients. Three cases were diagnosed as stage I, 6 as stage Ⅱ, 1 as stage Ⅲ, and 6 as stage Ⅳ. No patients in stage I, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ were died of lymphomas, but all six patients of stage Ⅳ were died of lymphomas (3 cases) or died with other diseases (3 cases). Histologic grade of MALT lymphoma and clinical stages appeared no correlated as was histologic grade and response to therapy. It appeared that the clinical stage was the most important factor in predicting prognosis.

        충격기류식 여과집진장치의 펄스간격 및 분사거리에 따른 압력손실변화에 관한 기초 연구

        The change of pressure drop according to the change in the inlet concentration, pulse interval, and injection distance of pulse air jet type bag filters, and the effect of venturi installation are as follows. The pressure drop with the range of 30 to 50㎜H₂O varies according to the injection distance with 30, 50, 70, 90sec and the inlet concentration of venture built-in fabric filters. For the lower concentration of 0.5g/m³ and lg/m³, the pressure drop(ΔP) was stable 60 to 90minutes after operation. For the higher concentration of 3g/m³, as 4P continues to go up, pulse interval should be set shorter than 30 seconds. The pressure drop with the injection distance of 110㎜, when inlet dust concentration is 0.5g/m³ or lg/m³, is 1.3 to 2 lower than with the injection distance of 50, 160, and 220㎜, which means that the inflow amount of the secondary air by the instant acceleration is large. The injection distance of 2g/m³ and 3g/m³ has the similar pressure distribution. The higher inlet concentration is, the more important pulse interval is than injection distance. The pressure drop has proved to be larger when inlet concentration is lower and injection distance closer, on condition that the venturi is installed. The change in the pressure drop was smallest when injection distance was 50㎜, followed by 220㎜, 160㎜, and 110㎜.

      • Paraquat 투여 백서에서 Cyclophosphamide와 Dexamethasone의 치료 효과

        Paraquat (N,N'-dimethy 1-4,4'bipyrydinium : Gramoxone^(R), a widely used herbicide, is extremely toxic to all green plants and many eukaryotic organisms. In human, paraquat intoxication leads to multiple organ failure, it preferentially damages the lung, kidney and liver and may result in death. The participation of superoxide in initiating tissue damage by administration of paraquat is well known in which one electron reduction of paraquat leads to the formation of radical species which react with molecular oxygen to give superoxide. This process initiates immunological changes with the activation of neutrophilic leukocytes, which is related to further production of superoxide. In this experiment, therapeutic effects of cyclophosphamide and dexamethasone on blood cell count, malondialdehyde as a indicator of lipid peroxidation, and antioxidant enzymes levels in the lung, liver and kidney of paraquat intoxicated rats were inbestigated. The WBC count were significantly decreased by combined treatment of cyclophosphamide and dexamethasone in paraquat intoxicated rats at 3 and 5 days but RBC count were not changed. The contents of malondialdehyde were significantly decreased in the lung and Kidney by combined treatment at 10 days after paraquat intoxication. The catalase acitvities were markedly increased in the lung and liver of rats at 10 days after paraquat intoxication, and superoxide dismutase activities showed minimal changes in the lung, liver and kidney of rats by combined treatment. These results suggest that paraquat induced tissue damage in rats can be redeced by combined administration of cyclophosphamide and dexamethasone.
