        고방(古方)으로 치료한 두드러기 환자 39례의 임상보고(臨床報告)

        Objectives : This study was designed to investigate the chronical features of urticaria and the effects of urticaria treatment with Ko-Bang(古方). Methods : We treated 39 patients for urticaria with Ko-Bang(古方), who visited to care urticaria at the Dept. of Dermatology Oriental medical hospital Dong-eui university from Jan, 2008 to Sep, 2009. This study was assessed using the chart analysis and the follow-up survey by telephone. Results & Conclusions : 1. 39 outpatients were surveyed, who were 20 males and 19 females. And patients who were ages 21-30 were the largest group, 11(28.21%). Among the 39 patients, acute urticaria patients were 8(20.5%), chronic urticaria patients were 31(79.5%), and contraction of a disease period between 6 weeks with 3 months was 17.9%. 2. The causes of urticaria were measured unknown 37.5%, foods 37.5%, drugs 25% in acute and unknown 35.5%, a change of temperature 29%, foods 16% in chronic. And suspected provocation factors were measured unknown and foods each 12 cases. The most of accompanied symptoms was itching sign(34 cases), the second most was self-conscious fever(10 cases). 3. Out of treat prescription(Ko-Bang,古方), Injinho-Tang(茵蔯蒿湯) was used most in 5 cases, Daehwanghwangryunsasim-Tang(大黃黃連瀉心湯), Hwangryun-Tang(黃連湯), Daesiho-Tang(大柴胡湯) were used in each 4 cases, Galgeun-Tang(葛根湯), Chijadaehwangsi-Tang(梔子大黃?湯), Sosiho-Tang(小柴胡湯) were used in each 3 cases, Gaemagakban-Tang(桂麻各半湯), Chijasi-Tang(梔子?湯),Oryeongsan(五笭散) were used in each 2 cases. 4. When the processes of treatment were classified by one poison(一毒), there were the 19 cases (48.7%) which was caused by Bun(煩), the 12 cases(30.8%) by Water(水) and the 4 cases(10.3%) by Gyur(結).

        The Ritual of Boat Incineration on the Island of Vis, Croatia: an Interpretation

        In the fishing village of Komiža, on the island of Vis,Croatia, there is a centuries-long ritual of incineratingtraditional wooden fishing boats which is linked to thecelebration of a Catholic holiday. Boats are not recognisedas a part of the cultural heritage of Croatia and traditionalboats are not being produced any longer because they arenot seen to have any market value. Therefore, thecontinuation of the burning ritual is seriously threatened. It is argued here that through a re-contextualisation of theceremony within an eco-museum and through similarprojects, the boats could actively contribute to theeconomic life of the community. This issue is addressedfrom the standpoints of the endangered ritual and thecultural significance of the boat. While predominantlyinvestigating its sociological importance and theunderlying semiotic implications of the ritual, anddiscussing the anthropomorphic conceptualisation of theboat within the Komižan community, this article alsoexplores the origins of the burning ritual and similarpractices around the world. The article aims to increasethe recognition of the boat as an object of tangible andintangible heritage, namely as a product of the traditionalmaritime art of ship-building.

      • 의약품중 잔류유기용매 시험법 확립에 관한 연구

        Headspace-GC(딘5-GC)를 이용하여 ICH 잔류웅매 가이드라인 class 1, 2에 속하는 28종의 잔류유기웅매 분석방법을 연군한 결과 SPB-5, BB-WAX column을 동시 이용하여 각각을 확인, 정량할 수 있었다.또한 염의 참가효과, 평형시간,평형온도가 headspace분석에 미치는 영향을 검토한 결과 평형 시간 30분,평형온도 85℃,Na₂SO₄Ig을 첨가하여 시험할 때 최적 부넉조건을 나타내었다. 회수율은 1,1-achloroethene(68.3%)를 제외하고 90.9 ~ 114.5%로 패체적으로 양호하였다. 따로 HS-GCJECD, DB-524 column을 이용하여 9종의 잔류유기용매에 대하여 각각의 검랸선을 작성하고 검출한계를 구하였다. 실제 의약품 원료 10종및 제제 5종에 적용시킨 결과 모두 불검출되었으며 본 시험법은 의약품중의 잔류유기용매 분석에 적용할 수 있는 방법이라고 판단된다. The headspace-fC/FID(HS -GC/FID) method was performed for test method developnlent of residu;31 organic solvents in pfrarmaceuticals. Using SPB-S and BB-WAXcolumn, 28 kinds of solvents iri ICH residual sof)·ents guidetine class 1, 2 couBd be individuallt-identified and quantitated. The foIBowing residoal soIYents were not detected by the headspaceinjection condition : N,N-Cmethylacetamide, N,N-dimeth)rlformamide, ethyfeneglycol, formamide,2-methoryethanot, N-rnethylpyrrolidone, suBforane. The effects of the addition of salts,equilibration time, and equilibration temperature on headspace analt·sis were invesugated. Theoptimum conditions weiFe obtained with addtion of Ifa2s04 19 as a salt, simultaneously. thetime and temperature of equitibration were 30min and 8i'f, respectivety. The recovery havefound between 90.9 and 114.5% except 1,1-dichloroethene(fi8.3%). Using DB-624 column &HS-GC/:ECD method, 9 kinds of residual solvents could be individually identified andfuantitated. This HS-GC method can be applied to test the residua3 organic solvent in thepharmaceuticals.

      • 전통발효식품으로부터 Chitin 분해 미생물의 분리 및 특성 규명

        A bacterial strain CJ-3 which produced chitinase was isolated from Korean traditional soy sauce. Using 16S rDNA analysis, the strain CJ-3 was identified as Bacillus atrophaeus. The approximate molecular weight of the putative chitinase enzyme was 31.0 kDa and the enzyme activity was remarkably induced by addition of colloidal chitin (0.5, 1.0, 2.0%). The antioxidant activity was increased 53% by the browning reaction products of B. atrophaeus CJ-3. Escherichia. coli lipopolysaccharides (LPS)-induced production of nitric oxide (NO) was reduced up to 45% by the browning reaction product in RAW264.7 macrophage. Inhibition of cell viability in the presence of LPS was recovered to normal level by the browning reaction product. These results suggest that browning reaction of B. atrophaeus CJ-3 plays an important role for activation of immune system. B. atrophaeus CJ-3 exhibited optimum temperature and pH of 37℃ and pH 7.8~8.0, respectively. The major intracelluar free amino acid was determined to be glutamate.

      • 벼꽃으로부터 두 개의 calmodulin cDNA 유전자의 분리 및 특성 연구

        Ca^(2+)은 신호전달과정에서 중요한 작용을 하는데 CaM은 이러한 Ca^(2+)이은의 modulator로서 중요한 작용을 하는 것으로 알러져 있다. 벼꽃의 cDNA library로부터 rice genomic DNA(RCaM-2)를 probe로 사용하여 30여개의 Positive clones을 얻어 이 중 두 개의 벼꽃 calmodulin CDNA clone을 분리하였다. RFCaMs CDNA clone의 총염기수는 RFCaM-3은 831p, RFCaM-4는 751bp이고 open reading frame은 각각 149개의 아미노산으로 구성되어 있다. RFCaM-3 과 RFCaM-4의아미노산은 동일하지만 nucleotide 순서는 상당한 차이를 나타내고 있다. RFCaMs CDNA clone의 open reading flame은 protein serine/threonine kinase에 보존되어 있는 catalytic domain을 가지고 있다 RfCaM-3은 5'-untranslated region은 105bp, 3'-untranslated region은 270bp이고 RfCaM-4는 5'-untranslated region은 78bp, 3'-untranslatedregion은 283bp이다. RFCaMs는 Arabidopsis와 70%, potato와는 92%, carrot과는 98%의 유사성을 보였다. Genomic southern blot분석에 의하면 벼의 clamodulin 유전자들이 7-8개의 multigene family로 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. Two different calmodulin (CaM) cDNAs (RFCaM-3 and RFCaM-4) were isolated from a rice flower cDNA library by screening with a rice genomic probe (RCaM-2). Both cDNAs are 90% sequence homologous inside the coding region but are highly divergent outside this region. The polypeptides encoded by RFCaM-3 and RFCaM-4 show identical sequence homology. Comparison of the deduced amino acid sequence of the RFCaMs cDNA clone have identity to Arabidopsis (70%), potato (92%), carrot (98%), and barley and soybean (98%). Southern analysis revealed that both cDNAs are encoded by different genes. Four intense and a few weaker bands were observed in the restriction fragments. Most restriction fragments showed high intensity hybridization signals under stringent conditions, suggesting the presence of a small multigene family for CaM in the rice genome as in other plants.

        방선균 분리주가 생산하는 Phospholipase C 저해물질인 MT2617-2B의 분리 및 특성

        방선균 분리주 MT2617-2의 배양액으로 부터 phospholipase C (PLC) 저해물질인 MT2617-2B를 n-butanol 추출 및 column chromatography 법을 이용하여 분리하였다. MT2617-2B는 IR ^13C- 및 ^1H-NMR 그리고 ESI-MS에 의한 구조분석 결과, 한 개의 hemiketal ring, polyhydroxyl 및polymethyl groups으로 구성되었으며 side chain으로 한 개씩의 malonate 및 guanidine group을 가지는 분자량 1057의 macrolide 화합물이었다. 따라서, MT2617-2B를 기존의 macrolide 항생제인 copiamycin 및 niphithricin A로 동정하였다. 한편, MT2617-2B는 methanol 용액에서 실온에서 방치하였을 때 도일한 분자량을 가진 두 개의 이성질체를 생성하였다. PLC γ1과 -β1에 대해 각각 25 및 50㎍/㎖의 IC_50 값을 가지며, Staphylococcus aureus 와 Candida albicans에 대해서는 항균활성을 나타내지만 Escherichia coli에는 나타내지 않았다. A phospholipase C (PLC) inhibitor (MT2617-2B) was isolated from the culture broth of actionmycetes isolate MT2617-2 by the extraction with n-butanol and column chromatographic techniques. The molecular weight of the inhibitor was 1057, by the spectroscopic analyses of IR ^13C- and ^1H-NMR and ESI-MS. The chemical structure of MT2617-2B was found to be a macrolide compound consisted of a hemiketal ring, polyhydroxyl and polymethyl groups, which had a malonate and guanidine group as its side chain. MT2617-2B produced its two isomers having the same molecular weight by standing in methanol solution at room temperature. Therefore, MT2617-2B was identified as copiamycin and niphithricin A, macrolide antibiotics. The values of IC_50 against PLC γ1 and PLC-β1 were 25 and 50㎍/㎖, respectively. MT2617-2B had antimicrobial activities against Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans, but not against Escherichia coli.

      • 위성 DMB용 Gap Filler 안테나 설계

        In this paper, Gap filler antenna for satellite DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) is designed. The antenna consists of radiation patch, crossed aperture and feed network. The patch is square to generate circular polarization. The feed network drives- the crossed slots with equal amplitude and a 90° phase shift and provides a matched input to the antenna. The designed antenna shows gain of 6.6 dBi and axial ratio of within 4 dB over 2.605-2.655 GHz.

      • Bacillus subtilis CJ-3의 항산화력 및 chitinase 특성규명

        전통발효 식품인 간장으로부터 chitinase 활성이 높으면서 갈변반응을 일으키는 균주인Bacillus subtilis CJ-3를 분리하여 균주의 생화학적 특성을 규명하였다. 분리된 균주는 2% colloidal chitin의 첨가에 의하여 chitinase 활성이 현저히 증가되었으며분자량은 대략 31.0 kDa으로 나타났다. 분리된 균주는 항산화 활성을 나타내었으며 갈변반응에 의하여 DPPH 전자공여능법에의한 항산화력은 9.2%에서 63.0%로 증가하였다. 분리된 균주의 최적 생육조건은 최적온도 37℃, 최적 pH 7.0 및 염 농도는 9% NaCl놈도까지는 잘 생육하는 것으로 나타났다. 분리된 균주의 주요 intracellular 유리아미노산은 glutamate로 나타났다. The Bacillus subtilis CJ-3 was cultured in LB medium containing colloidal chitin (0.5, 1.0, 2.0%) and determined molecular weight. The approximate molecular weight of the putative chitinase enzyme was 31.0 kDa and remarkably induced by addition of colloidal chitin. The antioxidant activity of Bacillus subtilis CJ-3 was increased 53% by browning reaction. The Bacillus subtils CJ-3 has an optimum temperature of 37℃, an optimum pH of 7.0-8.0, and stable concentration of 0.5-9.0% sodium chloride. The major intracelluar free amino acid was determined to be glutamate.

      • 제2형 당뇨병 환자에서 우연히 발견된 기종성 방광염 1례

        Emphysematous cystitis is an uncommon disease in which bacterias produce gas within the bladder wall and surrounding tissue. Patients with diabetes, neurogenic bladder and chronic urinary tract infection are predisposed to the disease. It is usually caused by E.coli and Klebsiella. Severity of illness ranges from an asymtomatic condition to life threatening cystitis. Succesful management depends on early diagnosis with correction of underlying causes, administration of appropriate antibiotics, establishment of adequate bladder drainage and surgical excision of involved tissue when required. We report a case of 52-year-old woman who did not compain of symtoms of cystitis but epigastric pain, nausea, and vomitting. Emphysematous cystitis was revealed on the abdominal X-ray series incidentally. CT scans of the pelvis showed mottled gas bubble within the bladder. After treatment, the symtoms subsided and plain abdominal film showed no evidence of gas shadow in the pelvic cavity.
